Spongebob basicly got the same treatment as Patrick. Patrick was always dumb and caused a lot of problems, but after season 3 it became worse with each season. It then became so bad that Patrick now actively hurts people in the must brutal ways. The same happened with Spongebob. Spongebob was always naive and often unaware of things. But just like with Patrick, it became so bad that he also actively hurts people. Best example is the toenail scene or any Squidward torture episode in general. His extreme friendliness now actively hurts people. Before it annoyed people and caused problems, but it wasn't nearly as bad as now and it was atleast funny He has just become annoying, just like most characters in the show.
If you actually paid attention to most people you'd notice most don't like being friendly nor are they positive, let alone how many actually are friendly and positive P.s. my problem is you're lying probably unwittingly, I like positivity but when there is none I'm not going to act like there is P.S(×2) Or you live in a reasonable part of the world where people actually have common decency that's also possible, But considering the world and people at large that's mostly unrealistic
theres something so sad about the fact stephen hillenburg wanting the show to end after the first movie and nick just continuing it against his wishes. even after he dies theyre still milking it
Honestly I have never seen any other tv network do that before nick has got to be the shittest tv network company I have ever seen. (At least with the simpsons its somewhat better because the creator didnt die)

It's all nostalgia bait. If they have to rely on referencing better episodes without actually trying to be good there is no hope for the show going forward.
As someone with both a diagnosed anxiety and depression, I don't think the rope gag compares to basically an entire episode, especially as the one with the rope gag also had a genuinely good intentioned SpongeBob.
Still, squidward was beloved also for Being a funny and snarky man, not for literally a fairly accurate depiction of depression, are you happy now isn't a mockery of those things, but still it's just weird.
@@D20thOfHisName Season 4 definitely does have a good amount of charm to it and even though it's not as good as Seasons 1-3 for me I can see why people love it, but I'll never get the love Season 5 gets these days. Outside of Roller Cowards, Sing a Song of Patrick and MAYBE Friend or Foe, there really aren't any standout amazing episodes from that season and some of the bad episodes from it are godawful, easily some of the worst material of the entire series.
Even as a kid, I HATED sponge on and Patrick and related to squidward, stuck between two obstacles. and I only liked episodes where people like plankton or squidward were happy. The complete disregard for squid's mental health is disgusting.
Honestly same here, I would genuinely feel bad for Squidward and sometimes Plankton because I feel like the complete disregard for mental health in bikini bottom is just so abysmal lol
@sluglifedonb402 While they're not terrible, I don't think these new episodes hold a candle to anything in the original. Best way I could describe it would be that they lack an understanding as to why SpongeBob worked so well back then.
I only watch SpongeBob whenever my daughter watches it and I honestly didn’t even know they still made new episodes especially since Nick frequently airs the reruns I grew up on in the early 2000s
There's another episode from recently that I think is a MUCH better example of spongebob being positive and supportive without being overly childish. "Ride Pat, Ride" shows spongebob teaching Patrick how to ride a bike. It's not exactly top tier, but when it comes to character, I really appreciated how much more relaxed spongebob was throughout it, and whenever something went wrong, he usually didn't mean any harm from it.
I personally am not a fan of any of the new SpongeBob episodes because of the new animation style. I cannot stand how all the characters are just constantly morphing and the over exaggerated facial expressions
Judging by the comments, it looks like the Spongebob fanbase has now become the cartoon equivalent of the Sonic fandom. And I mean that in the worst way possible.
It was getting better for a while, but it’s starting to get bad again. I don’t watch SB anymore, moving into more adult TV shows like Cocomelon and whatnot, but when my brothers watch SB, I notice now that all the characters seem irreverent. Plus the animation feels like a Newgrounds parody given all the weird uncharacteristicly creepy faces that are unlike the usual “grotesque closeups”
SpongeBob was one of those shows that should have ended when Steven Hillenburg was around. Even the SpongeBob movie was meant to be its series finale, but Nickelodeon wanted to do more, because the show was successful. Don’t get me wrong, there are some modern episodes that weren’t terrible, but I still think the franchise should have ended when it did. If anything, the show runners should make episodes that answer questions that people have been having ever sense the show first aired. One example being, is Pearl adopted, and where did Mr. Krabs get Pearl in the first place??? Another example, is that the show runners could do character development where everything is different. One example being, that Plankton becomes a good guy in the episode, “New Leaf”. It could have opened a new chapter, but it didn’t. (I wasn’t the only one that thought of this.)

The last example you made was good. And when you think of it, it’s pretty sad that plankton has spent over 25 years to get the formula and squidward having a shitty job for 25 years and after all that practicing and making art, he’s still bad at it, and still lives next to spongebob.
When SpongeBob was a simple character, a ball of energy and positivity who could mess up sometimes but he always meant well, not this psychothic, raving manchild they've made him into as of lately. When Patrick was actually charming in his poor wit but always meant well and was always there for his pal when he needed him, not to mention he had some glimpses of cleverness sometimes, not the underwater Peter Griffin (the flanderized Peter Griffin) they've made him into as of lately. When Squidward was the relatable unfortunate soul who sometimes deserved his misery when he went too far and that, most of all, had his heart in the right place at the end of the day, not the underwater Meg Griffin (constantly suffering through no real fault of his own) they've made him into as of lately. What they're doing to SpongeBob is downright abysmal.
Honestly I think Seasons 6-8 are overhated. Yeah, there were some REAL stinkers like One Coarse Meal or Demolition Doofus but also some gems like The Big One episode with Johnny Depp as a guest star or Enchanted Tiki Dreams, and of course Season 8's stop-motion Christmas special.
SpongeBob went from that guy that can see the good In everything, genuinely positive and good to those around him, to Toxicly Positive jackass that NEVER gets the hint. Atleast when he didn't In older episodes It was understandable, It isn't In these scenarios
Plus SpongeBob used to have a wider range of emotions. He got frustrated, angry or discouraged sometimes despite his overall jovial attitude, and for understandable reasons. Now he's a 2 dimensional oversimplification of his former self due to bad writing.
@@alhfgsp Not to mention he wasn't a pushover. He got ticked off at Squidward for treating him like a servant while SpongeBob was letting him stay at his house. In the same episode, he choked Mr. Krabs, called him a cheapskate, and demanded him to hire Squidward again.

Me too. I think because people like to rip on longrunning shows and the fact that people are joining this cult is kinda unfair. There are great longrunning shows like Arthur, South park and SpongeBob. And because this is happening it makes me hate the Simpsons and Family Guy a lot more.
Give it a chance just because the show isn’t as good as it was in its “Golden Age” doesn’t mean that it’s bad now, Most of the June through August premieres have been pretty good. Don’t watch squid bird tho
The flashbacks to classic episodes don't even play out exactly as they do in the classic episodes. This episode can't even do nostalgia bait correctly.
Squidward is my favorite character, and while seeing him get screwed over can be funny at times, it seems he gets more and more pushed around for no good reason. Sure, Squidward has his flaws and he can be a jerk at times, but he does seem like a chill dude. It does get annoying that he goes through all of this suffering for no reason. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad the SpongeBob series is still going, but I do wish it’ll end for good. The Big Birthday Blowout is one of the few episodes I LOVED, but like I said, I do wish this show will end in a way where we don’t need more episodes.
The problem with modern shows and media is that they don't offer a solution nor an antidote to the problems. They just portray the problems thinking that today's depressed generation will relate, and that relating to being depressed will be enough. It isn't. Sure, people should be able to relate to characters, but when there's no inspirational message to those dark mental states, then what's the point? This is one of many reasons why today's generation is the most depressed. The popular media being spouted these days teaches us that it's okay to be a "victim" or that it's okay to accept your flaws, but it never offers a real solution. That isn't a healthy message, and it's just one of many reasons why today's cartoons are failures. They fail to tap into or connect with the wider human condition.
Ah yes, Life insurance. The episode where SpongeBob and Squidward barely interact with eachother. And yet it brings back sponges memories. Truly an example of how far Nick has fallen when making SpongeBob episodes.
I was scared to watch this video and my fears were quite very much validated here. SpongeBob has always been around for me, like i happily even into adulthood watch it whenever i get the chance. but i keep it to season 5 an below because i believe that's where it stopped. season 5 was where the real, genuine SpongeBob passed away. after that it was under g rated adhd garbage. i didn't want my views of him tainted but i guess watching this video only made me appreciate him more, as in the real stuff. it shows how much more valuable it is to me. i just wish the real effort to make something not just marketed to 2 year old's and to make something that had actual values and love was still here.
This is literally like a lost Season 6 episode. This is proof that the writers don't care what people think of the show as long as it keeps making money they will do whatever they want with it.
considering a problem in the bad era people whined about nonstop was caused by Nick ordering too many episodes and the people making the show could barely keep up the quality (even resorting to plagiarizing older episodes) its probably whats going on here.
I get that SpongeBob is original, but it needs to end. It’s air on tv was going for almost 25 years. It hurts, but it isn’t as good as it was back then.
You know, i might take you up on that offer, make the episode center on the Patrick and SpongeBob dynamic. I honestly do not trust the writers to do the classic Squid & Sponge formula. So maybe flipping the script to center a more based and grounded story, on SpongeBob forgetting Patrick would be sweet yet heartbreaking! ill inform you when i get some work on it lol great video btw, id love to just discuss the trajectory the show is heading and how it misses the point of the original show.
I really do NOT like the new episodes, the first few seasons I saw growing up as a kid are the only golden ones that I hold dear to the very little innocence and childhood I had. The new episodes are so weird and just feel off, definitely because stephen is gone, I wish the show ended when he was gone, instead of just milking spongebob until nobody wants to watch it anymore because the show just keeps devolving into this weird off-vibe shit.
The idea of having the episode be about Patrick trying to get SpongeBob's memory back sounds like it would make for a better story. In fact, here's my idea for this episode so that it could be good. It's about Patrick forgetting that it's his Friendaversary with SpongeBob. In his haste, he randomly grabs a rock for a gift, but accidentally gives SpongeBob amnesia when he trips on it. He goes to Sandy for help, and she tells him to bring him around town to all his favorite places to jog his memory while she tries to make a helmet to restore his memory. It seems to go well until Patrick accidentally breaks the helmet. He feels bad about this, and these strong feelings jog SpongeBob's memories back. It's a broad strokes idea, but it's something with potential.
When I first saw this episode, I hated it. I just felt bad for Squidward the whole time and actually wanted SpongeBob’s memory to be gone forever, just so the poor guy could get some peace.
New SpongeBob puts me off my food and makes me puke. I can't believe how a show so great and fun could end up being so disturbing, disgusting and downright terrible. This show is like foot fungus.
I am honestly apathetic towards SpongeBob. I just despise it to the point where I don’t care. Anytime I try to see anyone who show criticism towards Season 13 is yelled at by people who have clearly NOT watched the newest episodes. I swear some videos of Valiskibum just talk about references and to ‘CHECKIT OUT GUYS IT WORTH YO TIME!’ No ooffence to him btw. Paramount doesn’t bother to add episodes so why should I care? I am bored of this show to the point where I only go on the SpongeBob Fanon because at least there they are actually creative so there is no excuse for these lame, bland, anger inducing, boring episodes only having references.
This episode was solid imo feels like an attempt at "Dying for Pie" not good not bad. Spongebob acted like too much of a maniac in this episode. Love the references, the beautiful animation and the voice acting but the writers need to understand that Squidward torture needs to stop for a while at least and when it returns make squidward deserve it, he needs to be written like a jerk. Not as a punching bag for spongebob and co. Guys watch episodes like, Arbor Day Disarray and Spatula of the Heavens. Theyre fantastic episodes!!
As someone else who dislikes this episode and had a lot of these same thoughts, I’m glad to see someone else who can make good videos bring it out into the public!
Somewhere along the way, the show decided to actually torture Squidward and relish in its sadism. There were points where this trope was funny but after awhile it just got really bad and generally mean spirited. It made Squidward, the cynical, pretentious, and egotistical jerk, and his problems go from being considered petty to genuinely concerning and problematic. In fact, Spongebob and Patrick became more selfish and inconsiderate than he was and would do things that would upset anyone if they were in his position. In other words, when the show's protagonists become more unlikeable, annoying, and antagonistic to a supporting character that serves as the foil, you know you got a problem.
There was that Season 8 episode, "Restraining SpongeBob", where Squidward *did* file a restraining order on SpongeBob, but it winded up being pointless because then Patrick was the one that began annoying him.
@@snnnaaaaaakeeeee4470 And of the two showrunners, Vincent Waller's entire involvement in the classic era amounts to three season one episodes, and Marc Ceccarelli started in the early 2010s.
My least favorite plot lines of Spongebob episodes are the "Squidward get tortured for no reason" episodes. And omg the past few seasons has A LOT of them. You do make a good point in the video, if Squidward is happy, Spongebob and/or Patrick WILL ruin it. The formula CAN work, however it has to be done in a specific way to where he does something bad to where he gets his Karma in the end. Even then it's like a mid-tier episode on average, but being tortured for no reason is a trash tier episode. At his point in the series, nostalgia bait is used so often to where it no longer feels special anymore, unless it actually has plot relevance and makes sense with the origin of the reference. If it has none of that, the nostalgia clip is just me thinking to myself "oh yeah... anyways." I will also say that there are some good gems in Season 13, Flower Pot being ones of my personal favorites from the season, along with the Salty Sponge actually treating an old school reference with respect and above average humor, at least compared to the rest of the season.
Yeah, this could have been better executed. I like the idea, and it could have been a good one in my eyes if Squidward was being a dick. And it doesn’t feel like that difficult of a problem to solve writing wise. Maybe have the episode remind Squidward of the good times his relationship with SpongeBob has given him. Snowball Effect and Band Geeks are particularly good examples. Instead of depicting Squidward as a normal guy have him treat SpongeBob extremely poorly (SpongeBob gets him a really nice and thoughtful gift that doesn’t hurt him and he throws it away and insults him). Then have the episode call Squidward out for the way he treats the only person who actually considers him a friend! Hell, they’ve done this exact same plot before (Dying For Pie), but at least it could give room for a happy ending, where Squidward finally admits that he’s sorry for how he treated SpongeBob, but also reminding SpongeBob that he has boundaries that SpongeBob should be more respectful of. Overall, it could end up with the two having a healthier relationship in a way that calls out both characters for their actions, but I guess SpongeBob writers just think haha Squidward gets hurt and SpongeBob gets away with everything.
It’s clear that the writers care about the old seasons and how it was so popular they were, but they just have no idea how to replicate what made season 1-3 so good in the first place. Only thinking that if they reference old stuff their episodes will automatically become good. Which isn’t the case at all The way I see it is that you can reference stuff from your show, but only use it sparingly. And to also have there be a joke around it. What makes the episode so bad isn’t mostly the story, but how they decided to handle it. Only putting in the references just for the sake of the viewer saying “OMG I REMEMBER THAT OMG!” Which is just bad writing. And also never getting the viewer the chance to breath without shoving 15 references to the show.
Something that bugs me about the newer episodes is how relentless they are on Squidward. I know he has his share of physical comedy in every season, but these new ones just will not let up on him
I don't know about anyone else but I feel annoyed that nowadays it's okay for Spongebob to make references to previous episodes despite how the first 9.5 seasons they weren't allowed to break the hard episodic rule. For example they weren't allowed to reference Mr.Krabs ever being romantically interested in Mrs.Puff but now it's part of the continuity.
I mean they did occasionally like in Mermaid Man and Barnicle Boy IV (I think) when Spongebob broke the fourth wall and asked the audience if they wanted to see him fall off the mountain
@@ShamrockFreddyGamer It means that episode Mrs. Puff working at the Krusty Krab where Mr. Krabs acts like he had no romantic interest in her never should've happened

And no YOU GUYS are the disrespectful ones not Nickelodeon! If you hate the spinoffs so much then just don’t watch them! Geez is it really that hard?
I actuallly loved this episode! It was nice to see flashbacks on old Spongebob and yet see a new episode at the same time, and how in the episode Spongebob was trying to finnally trying to get Sqidward to understand that their friends instend of letting him push him away makes it funny😂
Tbh, it sounds as a pretty average SpongeBob episode where Squidward gets the shorter end of the stick. SpongeBob driving someone else crazy was also done in the episode where he drove his driving instructor into madness.
i personally think that people saying "spongebob is back" is an annoying exaggeration because the real story is that, it's been another 3-4 seasons, so there's another style change in the writing and animation. while yes, i have enjoyed some season 13 episodes like dopey dick and spatula of the heavens, it still falls prone to the word i use to define seasons 9-12: mediocre. it's not bad, but it has nothing i would rather watch over the first 8 seasons. although each of those seasons have at least 3 episodes i particularly like and enjoy, they feel lackluster compared to seasons 1-8. and yes, that does mean that i enjoy seasons 6-8 more than 9+. in my experience, i've laughed more at those seasons in spite of the largest concentration of bad episodes than at the average season 9+ episode. while season 9+ is certainly not bad, it's missing a lot in the comedy department and i can only say "i watch spongebob for the plot" so many times. but i digress, because there are still some hidden gems in that era, which is why i refuse to call any season of spongebob outright bad.
SpongeBob should have had the original “story book” ending they had planned, with the first movie being the grand finale, and a worthy and triumphant send-off. There are some episodes here and there that came out after the movie that are okay. But okay is as good as they get. Everything that came before the movie is solid pure gold though. If those were the only episodes we knew, we’d have a much higher respect for this show.
@@extraabsorbancy7366First of all, I explicitly said I saw the first few (more specifically probably about the first 4 or 5 episodes) of the season and of those I only liked one of the episodes, so based off those impressions alone I have not liked what I saw. It's possible Season 13 maybe is a lot better than I'm giving it credit for, but I haven't seen enough about it to really judge that and the little I have seen makes me feel the opposite. Don't get so triggered over a simple comment pal. First impressions aren't always the best impressions and I could easily change my mind later on. For now though I can ONLY judge and form an early opinion based on what I've seen.

This just in: another brave take about the state of SpongeBob SquarePants! Incredible, you think the show should end, you are the bravest most original commentor out there.
If the newer seasons were just its own thing and separate from older seasons then fine. It would be just like any other modern day nickelodeon cartoon but the fact that this is still under the same name as sponegbob is just insulting. It doesn't even feel like the same show anymore. It feels like some shameless spinoff.
I watch SpongeBob on Paramount+. When I get to season 6, I’ll watch a couple episodes of season 7 and have no idea what I’m watching (barely know season 6) and start over from the beginning.
There's a few episodes in season 13 that are generally well-received and you might like: - Goofy Scoopers - The Big Bad Bubble Bass - Squidferatu - Salty Sponge - Ain't That the Tooth You probably wouldn't like Something Narwhal This Way Comes or Upturn Girls though because they basically try to make Kmap Koral canon to the main series.
Kamp Koral isn't canon to the main series. SpongeBob went to that camp as a kid but not everything shown in Kamp Koral and Sponge On the Run happened. Kitchen Sponge explains this.
Squidferatu isn't very well received even though it's really good. Goofy Scoopers is good but one of the worst of S13 in all honesty lmao. Same goes for The Big Bad Bubble Bass but it is better than Goofy Scoopers for sure. Last two episodes you mentioned are amazing but I actually think Friendiversary is better than Ain't That the Tooth.
Honestly I feel like a lot of the later episodes rely too heavily on fanservice and nostalgia bait, and it just feels pandering. I found it more cringeworthy than anything when the show decided to directly reference Nostalgia Critic, and it's a reference that'll likely become dated in 20 years. A lot of the old (good) SpongeBob episodes are timeless. These ones consistently feel a lot more contemporary. That's not getting into the "lul random" style of humor the show has adopted... honestly I just wish the show could end already.
I'm really sad it ended out this way I'd just wish these new episodes were better when it ends I will miss it because I grew up with it but it won't be by others
I disagree that modern Spongebob is bad. Different (for better/worse) is more accurate. But yeah, I can see your point. The nostalgic call-backs should be used like sugar. Surely, you want it, but overusing it can make things taste awful real quick. The reference needs payoff and context, not just be there for the sake of being there. If there's none of them, the episode's just another Squidward torture episode. There's a reason why The Salty Sponge was fun. It had payoff for those who do know the call-back, but is fun overall.
I don't even think they bother to review these episodes before broadcasting them. Some cartoons usually have a test audience of kids. But now, it's like they just publish it. If the inner circle is cool with it. Plus, the cost of living issue in California. Which drives away creative people. And replaces them with whoever is privileged enough to stay.

I love how positive and friendly Spongebob is, I mean who doesn't.. But I agree modern Spongebob is way too annoying and even cringe-worthy at times..
Before it annoyed people and caused problems, but it wasn't nearly as bad as now and it was atleast funny

The movie was never meant to be finale. There's literally no source for that

As someone else who dislikes this episode and had a lot of these same thoughts, I’m glad to see someone else who can make good videos bring it out into the public!
Yeah thus episode wasn't good
Somewhere along the way, the show decided to actually torture Squidward and relish in its sadism.
Even if squidward did get a restraining order in the episode, he’d probably eventually miss spongebobs antics.
There was that Season 8 episode, "Restraining SpongeBob", where Squidward *did* file a restraining order on SpongeBob, but it winded up being pointless because then Patrick was the one that began annoying him.
I recall when things were looking up in the second half of season 9. If only it stayed that way...
Unfortunately Stephan Hillenburg passing away once again caused the show to lose the direction that it had under his vision. RIP
If it has none of that, the nostalgia clip is just me thinking to myself "oh yeah... anyways."
I will also say that there are some good gems in Season 13, Flower Pot being ones of my personal favorites from the season, along with the Salty Sponge actually treating an old school reference with respect and above average humor, at least compared to the rest of the season.
SpongeBob should’ve been put to rest with Stephen Hillenburg. It was his creation, and it was once beautiful.
now look. new spongebob still has good episodes. can't expect every episode to be good i mean even the good era has episodes some would consider bad
I swear Spongebob's animation is becoming more and more unsightly.
It’s clear that the writers care about the old seasons and how it was so popular they were, but they just have no idea how to replicate what made season 1-3 so good in the first place. Only thinking that if they reference old stuff their episodes will automatically become good. Which isn’t the case at all
The way I see it is that you can reference stuff from your show, but only use it sparingly.
I know he has his share of physical comedy in every season, but these new ones just will not let up on him

i personally think that people saying "spongebob is back" is an annoying exaggeration because the real story is that, it's been another 3-4 seasons, so there's another style change in the writing and animation. while yes, i have enjoyed some season 13 episodes like dopey dick and spatula of the heavens, it still falls prone to the word i use to define seasons 9-12: mediocre. it's not bad, but it has nothing i would rather watch over the first 8 seasons. although each of those seasons have at least 3 episodes i particularly like and enjoy, they feel lackluster compared to seasons 1-8.
and yes, that does mean that i enjoy seasons 6-8 more than 9+. in my experience, i've laughed more at those seasons in spite of the largest concentration of bad episodes than at the average season 9+ episode. while season 9+ is certainly not bad, it's missing a lot in the comedy department and i can only say "i watch spongebob for the plot" so many times. but i digress, because there are still some hidden gems in that era, which is why i refuse to call any season of spongebob outright bad.
Life Insurance was most likely used because the same writer of Friendiversary wrote that too.
They milked the cow so much with spongebob there is no more milk since years that now they are milking its blood.
For real, they're bleeding it for all it's worth
Good thing I've yet to see this episode or really a lot of Season 13 past its earlier episodes. It sadly does seem to be in its second dark era...
you said yourself you haven't seen any s13 episode 💀 how are you gonna judge it based on a review you saw
Season 13 is the best season since the first movie honestly
No, Season 4 and 5 are better then season 13@@Pablo.673
@@Pablo.673no
@@extraabsorbancy7366First of all, I explicitly said I saw the first few (more specifically probably about the first 4 or 5 episodes) of the season and of those I only liked one of the episodes, so based off those impressions alone I have not liked what I saw. Secondly, I said that it SEEMS to be in its second dark era, which I am currently concluding just based off the little I've seen and the reviews and clips of the season I've seen here and there.
What makes me so angry and upset is the fact they would rather instead of taking time to produce good quality SpongeBob writing episode content they want to throw and dump stuff out, Like they DON'T have the patience to produce good quality stuff anymore

Spongebob needs to Rest In Peace
Thank you for watching it so I don't have to
Liked and subbed for the intro alone
Bro can we all agree that old spongebob was way more fun? I dont think any of us were even born yet, maybe some of ya'll in the comments are older but yk?
no
Title card is correct. My name is also Braden and im quite insane.

It's honestly mind-boggling how the writers on a tv show can so consistently disregard everything that made the show good in the first place.
This just in: another brave take about the state of SpongeBob SquarePants! Incredible, you think the show should end, you are the bravest most original commentor out there.
IKR, it's some real NPC talk there.
It's overstated because it's true.
@@Jay_Jay_Guy I predict it'll end between seasons 15-20.
Watch Gary’s playhouse in season 13. There is literally ZERO PLOT whatsoever. It is the worst one in my opinion.😭
Please youtube don’t recommend me haters
Ever since I saw that one clown that had a spin off episode and didn't speak, that's when I tapped out. Doesn't even feel real still.
You thought after Sponge After Water, they would stop torturing Squidward? Well you are wrong.
ofc he likes an episode called "Dopey Dick" 😭
It's a parody of the book Moby Dick, get your mind out of the gutter
It's based off Moby Dick, and many people agree it's a good episode
@@BradenINSANE it's a joke
I mean this is the same show that has the words ‘Dirty Dan’ and ‘pinhead’ 😂
@@gracekim25 😂 and the amount of nsfw jokes they've slipped in there
I haven't followed Spongebob for years, and they're still making Squidward torture porn? God, this shit is disturbing. Kids shouldn't be shown this.
Who. In the ever-loving FUCK. Uses the term "Squidward Torture Porns". For the love of god, go the fuck outside.
There's a few episodes in season 13 that are generally well-received and you might like:
- Goofy Scoopers
- The Big Bad Bubble Bass
- Squidferatu
- Salty Sponge
- Ain't That the Tooth
You probably wouldn't like Something Narwhal This Way Comes or Upturn Girls though because they basically try to make Kmap Koral canon to the main series.
The Salty Sponge (and Road to Christmas) are the best ones for s13 by far
@@JonnyTheRWBYDude2004 Salty Sponge, Friendiversary and Swimming Fools imo.
Road to Christmas was average for S13 even though I really liked it.
SpongeBob should’ve ended a long time ago cause the new episodes are so forgettable and I actually have fun watching the older seasons.
I'm really sad it ended out this way I'd just wish these new episodes were better when it ends I will miss it because I grew up with it but it won't be by others
it rlly sucks that spongebob has turned to this, which is why I don’t watch the newer ones :// older ones were way better
