It's not really blindness but rather the adherence to the 'correct' ideological thinking. I call it pathological compassion and you can really see it in Western governments. It's the constant desire to taker the side of the person who appears somehow disadvantaged. Therefore the criminal and the illegal immigrant are favoured over the regular, hardworking citizen. Once you realise this then all the decisions they take actually make sense.
How about compassion for your own law abiding population?
My I point out the parallels with the Murder of the young Girl Alice Gross on the canal at Hanwell.
It happened about six years ago.
Her murderer was a Latvian painter and decorator who had been convicted of murdering his wife in Latvia.
He comes here and is arrested for an indecent assault on a minor.
He is released ,but police don't check him out properly and he goes on to murder young Alice.
He's then found hanged in woods near by.
I saw police frog men looking for her when I was cycling....it chilled my blood now its boiling.
He was given a muslim funeral don't forget....

There's a difference between compassion and cretinous credulity and our system seems to have been utterly captured by the latter ..... in any case, even compassion should be tempered by responsibility and judged on the facts not emotions, personal or otherwise.The safety and security of our folk and culture ought to be paramount ....... and anyway, why should citizenship be the default decision, why not "Leave to Remain" with the understanding that most "refugees" will return to their homeland once it's safe to do so ?

Firstly, no, in the "public mind", we do not believe all asylum seekers are legitimate and well intentioned. Most people know there is rampant asylum fraud.
Secondly, he suggest that most asylum seekers are legitimate, saying "many" will be, but only "some" are not. Again, this is nonsense. We neighbour no at war nations and asylum seekers routinely discard personal documentation for a reason - because they know our authorities being able to identify them would undermine their case. Most asylum claims are fraud.
Thirdly, we do not need to "balance" compassion to foreigners with public safety. The government should act in our interests, end of. If we are not very confident that this person is going to be a productive and law abiding member of our society, they should be removed, regardless of what supposed threat they face in their own country. We cannot save the world and the government has no business sacrificing our wealth, cohesion and security to aid a foreigner who turned up yesterday. And when it comes to people from shithole countries, we can NEVER be confident they will be productive and law abiding before we wait and see. We can look at group trends, however, and be absolutely certain that the settlement of a large number of such people will very bad for the country.
Fourthly, yes the asylum system is incredibly lax and we are letting everyone in. Indeed, we are actively assisting them in crossing the channel. Ok, the home office in this case said no (and was overturned by the judiciary). But even before he was granted asylum, after entering the country illegally and then initially refusing his claim, he was not removed from the country. He was here illegally and having been explicitly rejected for years BEFORE he was granted asylum and no attempt was made to kick him out. The reality is that we remove a completely negligible proportion of asylum seekers, so yes, de facto, we are letting everyone in.
Oh and putting this one anecdotal case aside, the home office guidance explicitly states you should not disregard an application even if they are clearly lying and the number of asylum applications they have accepted has soared for 33% to 75% even when the number of people abusing the asylum system via channel crossings has also soared, meaning bogus claims have soared, meaning that the proportion of accepted applicants should be falling, not well over doubling. They have all but abolished standards for granting asylum simply to clear the backlog, so the guy pretending that the home office isn't a soft touch because he was able to find one guy they didn't accept several years ago, after which standards at the home office have collapsed, is ridiculous.
Is Owens really right wing? You can criticise the actions of the state of Israel without hating jews, or is that not allowed anymore?

Regardless of whether one appreciates Owens' perspectives and, to be fair she was absolutely right when it came to Floyd and blm, but I'm surprised Spiked did not add the context on this issue which is that this particular rabbi and his daughter had made absolutely vile statements (including racist) about her for weeks so the fact that she liked a tweet attacking the person who was attacking her is understandable. To present it as her out of the blue attacking the rabbi does Spiked a disservice.

Particularly disturbing during the Candace and Ben kerfluffle was that Candace, instead of arguing her ideas, facts and logic, spewed self serving religious scripture and notably also declared "Christ is King!" in order to dominate the discussion. It was as if she was insinuating "Look Jew, you don't accept my Savior. Therefore I have spiritual and moral superiority over you Christ deniers, so shut up and know your place."

Asylum is open to 75% of anyone who turns up and that is considered a high bar to asylum in the UK. Clearly not true.

It's more subtle than cheating, it implies exploiting known loopholes repeatedly.
Adult political issues were pushed into Scottish schools about 15 - 20 years ago by environmental groups. Except it all seemed appropriately innocent and well-meaning at the time - adopt a dolphin, create a poster about fishermen dredging the seabed, help count protected birds, etc. The fact that conservation aims were going to potentially destroy livelihoods was well hidden. It's only a small step from that to bringing other issues into schools. The methodology has now been tried and tested and shown to have been successful. The key point that was not appreciated at the time of the environmental invasion was that the organisations were also openly engaged in political activities. People turned a blind eye. We reap what we sow.

You are not being coherent or rational on the Israel issue. It is not anti-Semitic to criticise the state of Israel, for the same reasons that it is not anti-Arab to criticise the religion of Islam.
Where I'm sitting, the anti-semites are predominantly on the left. Sort of odd that this conversation was all about the fringe right. Not that these things should not be pointed out, but the conversation was exclusively focussed on the fringe right.

The asylum system is not broken, it's working the way its operators desire.
Regarding "antisemitism", the thing about "tropes" or stereotypes is that they are generally accurate. Are Jews disproportionately influential and do they have separate identities and interests to the majority population? Yes on both counts.
Jews are clearly highly ethnocentric. They could not have survived as a small minority in host countries for many centuries without a highly insular ethnocentrism. But for this fact, they would long ago have intermarried out of existence. To be clear, this is hardly a peculiarity of the Jews. Most ethnic groups are far more ethnocentric than white gentiles. As someone who is quite ethnocentric and thinks that white people in generally need to be a lot more willing to recognise themselves and their interests as distinct from others, I don't blame Jews for their ethnocentrism.
Nor do I blame Jews for their influence, which is largely a combination of conspicuously higher average IQ combined with the kind of ethnic nepotism which is completely unremarkable amongst non whites.
It is, however, a problem when a small minority, with sensibilities and interests distinct from the majority population, wields a totally outsized level of power and influence. Yes, America's overwhelmingly one way support of Israel is a consequence of a powerful Jewish lobby. This is obviously true. Both Democratic and Republican candidates have to appease the Jewish lobby if they want a serious chance of being elected as president.
The bizarre phenomena of often tax payer funded holocaust museums in every Western nation, regardless of their complicity, or total lack of complicity or indeed active opposition to the Third Reich is another clear example. There are several higher body count atrocities than the Holocaust. But this particular atrocity is uniquely exalted, because the Jews are preoccupied with it (understandable) and insist that everyone else is to. I don't dispute that the treatment of Jews in the Third Reich was indeed atrocious and they were killed on an industrial scale, but it is rather strange that this is uniquely a historical event whose orthodoxy carries the weight of law in many Western nations, even though significant details of this account are an attempt by religious Jews to make it fit one of their prophecies and even though there are egregious lies in the orthodox account including the wholesale fabrication of 5 million non Jewish victims by Simon Wiesenthal, contrived to make non Jews care about the holocaust more, but without overshadowing Jewish suffering.
More generally, the social attitudes of Jews are WAY to the left of the general population, yet such social attitudes, in part by virtue of disproportionate Jewish influence, are greatly overrepresented in the elite and so we get things like mass migration and liberalisation of the criminal justice system whether the populations of the West want these things or not. No, not only Jews are responsible for this. But when you look at the far left, particularly on social issues, in politics, media and academia, Jews are enormously overrepresented. Our politics and media would undoubtedly be somewhat less leftwing but for outsized Jewish influence.
As someone who doesn't wish to see my country given away to the third world and would like to see serious criminals hang, I do rather resent this imposition of leftism. Its all the more galling to see the blatant double standard exercised by a significant proportion of western Jewry, who are all for flooding us with the third world, but highly nationalistic and supportive of an ethnostate in Israel.
One silver lining of the very conspicuous Muslim ethnocentrism being displayed in Western countries in the wake of October 7th is that Jews might reconsider the wisdom of the migration policies they have long supported. At any rate, its a lot more acceptable to be concerned about muslim migration in terms of antisemitism post October 7th, which as yet has not amounted to anything significant in terms of crime, than say, be concerned about Muslim migration in terms of industrial scale rape gangs that have targeted adolescent white girls for decades up and down the country. Apparently, ugly sentiments towards Jews for a handful of months is worse than the industrial scale rape of gentile girls for 50 years. But we cannot talk about Jewish influence in the media. That would be antisemitic., even if obviously true.
The hysteria over antisemitism forms a particularly striking contrast with the far more persistent, virulent and uncontroversial anti white attitudes pushed by Western institutions all the time, as well as the appalling crimes perpetrated by minorities against whites, which is hugely disproportionate to the reverse. We never hear about Jewish privilege, even though by any socioeconomic metric, they are clearly more privileged than whites in general, yet discussion of white privilege, which is just naked anti white racism, vitiates virtually all large organisations in the West, whether public or private. Its also hugely conspiratorial: if ever there is a disparity in favour of white people, this can only be understood as evidence that white malfeasance has unjustly held the relatively worse performing other group down somehow. Even if there is no actual evidence of anyone being racist, we can just attribute it to "institutional" racism. Its not Jews who are routinely scapegoated for the failings of others in the present day West, its white people.
We see nothing comparable for Jews. Hence Jews do not get treated as a separate group and subject to much higher standards for the SAT to get into American Universities, for example. Even though they are a distinct and much better performing group on average, they are just lumped in with whites for the SATs. When there are a handful of instances of black Americans assaulting Jews, there is a rash of antisemitic violence, with many in the media, including Jews, quite happy to implicate white America in this violence, when its obviously not true, rather than identify the race of the people doing it. But when blacks over a period of years target a much larger number of white people for precisely the same kind of violence, if its noticed at all, its the "knockout game". Who is the knocker and who is the knockee is seldom stated, let alone an admission of the obvious racial motive.
And most egregious is the double standard around Jewish bigotry towards white people. If you dare even suggest that Jews have a problem with anti gentile attitudes, that itself is portrayed as antisemitic. Needless to say, breathless hysteria about a virtually non existent threat towards Jews at the hands of Neo Nazis, as though this problem was of more than utterly negligible proportions, is not viewed as antiwhite.
But in fact, the reverse is true. We know what serious antisemitism exhibited by whites looks like, and in the present day West, we clearly aren't seeing it. The perpetual fear of white people's antisemitism when grounds for such a fear has not existed for decades actually IS bigotry by Jews towards whites. They clearly do not have serious cause for concern about gentile bigotry towards Jews. We have not seriously discriminated against Jews, let alone endangered them, for a long time.
On the other hand, there will not be a week which goes by where an influential Jew does not say something blatantly racist about white people. White privilege, white supremacy; influential Jews in media, politics and academia talk about these things relentlessly, and justify anti white discrimination in the form of "affirmative action" on this basis, discrimination which is rampant in government and large private organisation. Many of the CEOs and politicians responsible for implementing this anti white discrimination are Jewish. Of course, for the purpose of discriminating against us, Jews are white. They cease to be white the moment there is even mild discrimination against Jews however; suddenly then they are a distinct and aggrieved minority.
Its not even rare for Jews to openly celebrate the declining share of the population that white people account for in Western nations. More than a few have openly endorsed white genocide, which don't worry guys, its totally not about killing white people, its just some wholly abstract idea about ending the white supremacy that supposedly rules every western nation, even when every major institution in these nations is breathlessly denouncing white supremacy and its uncontroversial to denigrate white people and only white people. Say anything comparable about anyone else however, and you lose your job and are a social pariah. Presumably a feature of white supremacy.

I started reading your long post and followed through until the end. I think you are mistaken in many ways. Firstly, you seem to consider Jews as an ethnic monolith separate from Whites, with separate interests that go against the majority White population. Please be informed that Judaism is strongly intertwined with Christianity, and both are at the origins of Western culture. There was a time in Europe and the wider Roman Empire when Jews and Christians were indistinguishable. Only the powerful warlords, and the popery, decided to draw the battle lines between the two creeds, mainly because of a little fellow by the name of JC, as a way to keep.the populace under control and to conveniently scapegoat a whole group in case their power was being challenged. Please also be informed that there were many conversions of Jews to Christianity in the Iberian Pensinsula as well as in the rest of Europe. So, many Jews intermarried over centuries and centuries. The Jews you describe today would mostly consider themselves as liberal and secular, some wouldn't even see themselves as Jewish (but who is a Jew is often in the eyes of the beholder...). You seem to have more of a problem with liberal political stances, but this is not the preserve of Jews, and there is zero evidence that they are using liberal stances as a ploy and as a plot against the interests of the 'White majority population', despite what conspiracy theorists want you to believe. I think that liberalism is flawed in many ways, but it isn't used malevolently by Jews as an organised ethno-political monolith. Liberalism is 'Christian virtues gone mad', to quote G.K Chesterton. Virtues of compassion and tolerance. So-called liberal virtues are also much more prevalent among women than men. The US defends Israel because it upholds Western values, it is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it has a legal right to exist, while being surrounded by countries that want its annihilation. Lastly, I consider 'antisemitism' to be a misnomer, it shouldn't be used, it sounds like a tribute to late 19th century German nationalists and pseudo-scientists...

Actually, the use of 'Christ is King' by Candace as a dig at Shapiro is to basically say that Christians like her have a different value set compared to Jews. Hence, she finds herself on the other side of the Isreal-Palestine debate.
@@mrror8933 No, I didn't assume that Jews were a monolith. Obviously individuals vary. When I describe a group numbering millions of people, it goes without saying I am talking about general trends. That is the only reasonable understanding of such a statement unless I explicitly state that the statement is not a claim about general trends, but is true of every member of the group. I no more claim that all Jews endorse far left social policies than I claim all Jews are high IQ. I am talking about averages.
Obviously Judaism and Christianity have a shared origin and to be clear, very little of what I said is a commentary on theology. Jews are an ethnic group, not just a religious denomination. Many of the concerns I have with western Jewry is primarily with the non religious Jews who none the less have a strong ethnic identity.
Also, if you read my post, I am not describing some grand anti white conspiracy. I am describing a group that has distinct sensibilities and interests and acts accordingly. This does not mean Jews are specially malevolent, a claim you may note I did not make. Indeed, I explicitly stated their ethnic nepotism is unremarkable.
It doesn't require active malevolence for ethnic nepotism to be a problem for the outgroup, however.
That said, some Jews ARE obviously anti white. You cannot reasonably argue that the Jews who talk about white privilege, white supremacy, constantly pathologise "whiteness", implement anti white discrimination in policy and in law and in same cases explicitly celebrate declining white populations are not anti white.
The fact that this is even controversial to point out is a prime example of the double standard I am talking about. No one disputes that some white people are anti Jewish, even though the practical consequences of this in the present day are trivial compared to the cultural and legal anti whiteness of the modern west.

Very disappointing Spiked. Slag off Owens then conduct themselves in exactly the same manner for which they criticize Owens. For that balanced, thoughtful, nuanced (not) approach; intemperate as they may be, at least Owens owns her views, Spiked gets unsubscribed.
Cowardly officials in the first component of the discussion then cowardly Spiked presenters in the later component. Man up guys and own your own prejudices and bigotries.
