Haha it definitely looks a bit better in the sunlight but just like sunshine in a prison yard makes it look better. I think the terrace in the Swiss First class lounge in Zurich is the gold standard for what a lounge terrace should look like.
Love the review! I honestly LOL'd at 6:03 because the graphic they used on their online menu looks exactly like a toilet with the lid halfway up at first glance! They should have run this past a few people before including it on the menu of all places! The best part about Virgin is the champagne, it's everywhere and makes the flight extra special! I personally think the bar area on the 787 is my favorite, this one on the Neo looks not so interesting. Good job and great video, well done! Can't wait to fly the Neo with VS!

I'm not sure if AirNZ copied Virgin here (I know they used the same older Virgin Business Class 787 seats into their cabins), but they also have the purple mood lighting. I really like it. So much of what Virgin does here feels like more than Business Class (the pre-ordered food, the upper wing arrival wing). Enjoy your next flight, Yann.

This is a business class flight. Virgin Atlantic only offer economy, premium economy and business class on their flights - but they market their business class as "upper class".

There isn't a time limit on lounge access if you're flying on an Upper Class ticket. Bag drop should be fine too since VS check-in desks will be open all day. I showed up 6 hours before my flight to film this video and didn't have any issues.

Especially if you're on a connection, lounge access won't be a problem at all. I haven't flown Virgin since this video so don't have personal observations but from what I've read online it does sound like catering quality is down a bit. You should be able to preselect your meals via manage my booking which will ensure you get your choice at least. Food in the Heathrow Clubhouse was really good so you'll have that to enjoy between flights regardless.
Personally I think BA looks better, although the Virgin lounge had some unique features it lacked the sophistication of the BA lounges, but that's just my opinion.
No way, I recently chose Virgin UC over BA 1st out, business back, roughly same price. Virgin UC is quite similar to BA 1st, and totally outguns BA business.
At least this guy looks neat and clean. One vlogger turned up in Business dressed like a tramp, filming the crew and cabin, put his feet up wearing dirty smelly sneakers and then wondered why the crew didn't show him much respect!
I do take issue with flight vloggers who travel in premium cabins wearing shorts and flip flops. However, Yann always looks very smart in his jeans and t-shirt/sweatshirt, not really sure what your problem is. 🤷♂️

Virgin only offer pyjamas on overnight flights - this was a daytime flight!

It's poor that upper class does not offer free wifi for the entire flight complimentary
In my experience, I've typically only seen free WiFi offered in first class cabins although I'm sure there are exceptions.

The lounge design is definitely a bit more "out there" than traditional lounges
