You earned my sub; you didn't wander off into some tangent, you presented just the info I was looking for in a clear/concise manner! Great work man, hope you enjoyed all the bubbles ;)
You deserve more than 546 subscribers. I always go for the Qantas lounge over all the other F lounges I can access. CXF is good to pop in for lunch, but with up to 5 departures per day, it can get quite busy.
I've always been fairly lucky with the CX F lounge being fairly empty when I've been, although I did have an early morning departure once and it was pretty rammed which did remove that sense of calm from the experience. And I appreciate the kind words - thanks for watching and I'll keep putting and videos and let's see where it goes!
Great lounge reports. FYI, the T3 BA Club lounge does serve champagne but you have to ask for it 👍 Flying out of T3 in BA business soon and am looking forward to the Cathy business lounge after seeing this 😎
My wife and I will be arriving at Heathrow in a few weeks. Since our hotel check-in isn't until a few hours after we land, and we are flying American Airlines Business Class, we are gonna check out the lounges. It'll be great to get a meal, drinks, and a nice shower before checking in. Thanks for the tour!!
You can only access these lounges if you have a flight departing from T3! If you're landing into T3 you'll go directly to immigration and exit the airport, you won't have access to these lounges unless connecting onwards from T3. However, if you're landing in the morning you'll have access to the AA arrivals lounge in T3 - check out the end of my American Airlines First Class video to see what that lounge looks like.
Great video! T3 lounge hopping is one of my favorite pastimes. As I only have Sapphire status i usually go to the Cathay Business lounge first and then to the restaurant and gin bar in the Qantas lounge.
Those are definitely the best two oneworld lounges there. Looking forward to see what the upcoming QF First lounge will look like - although a few more years to wait!
Even the on flight toilets look more appealing than the BA lounge ones. I guess people may not do lounge research and may just end up at their airline specific lounges. Thanks for this video!
I reckon the majority of people just go to whatever lounge is on their ticket and don't even know about oneworld lounge rules (or what oneworld even is!). The Cathay lounge wins for toilet/shower design in my opinion
Love the review. I'll be laying over in LHR in December flying CX and now I have a good idea of which lounge I should visit. I have access to CX First and that's where I'm headed. By the way, I wish you had shown what champagne BAF and CXF were each serving for comparison.
Thanks for watching. You'll only be able to access these lounges if you're flying from Terminal 3 - but definitely CX F is the best one in my opinion. Good shout on the Champagne offering - I'll make sure to cover this in future videos
Awesome video man, I’m gonna do this tomorrow at Heathrow but probably will only be able to do 5-7 lounges. I only have 3 hours. I just have to use my Star Gold status and Priority Pass/AMEX Platinum card. Well done.
Thanks for watching! If you're flying from T3 your Star Alliance status won't get you anywhere (most are oneworld lounges). I'd use your Platinum card to get into the Amex or No1 lounge.
@@FlyManYann yeah in terminal 2 actually right now. Did Lufthansa, Singapore, Plaza Lounge, United and Air Canada. Did 5 in an hour. Will be posting a video on it.
Was a lot of fun - if I was to do it again I'd probably do BA F -> QF -> CX F in that order and spend more time instead of dashing around trying to get shots of everything!
I was actually at the Virgin Clubhouse for my first time yesterday and it was a very impressive business lounge but it was fairly busy as you say. (Video of that and the flight on the new A330neo coming soon!)
It would be Virgin Clubhouse and Cathay Pacific clear winners. VA have made moves to deal with the overcrowding recently ie they are virtually restricting it to Upper Class and Gold customers
Yep I just did a review of Virgin Upper Class and checked out the Clubhouse. It was definitely impressive but I did notice it was very busy around midday.
Great review. So question if traveling in BA first but leaving through T3, are we not allowed to use First wing at T5 and use concorde lounge there? Follow-up if staying at T3 but BA first, is CH first lounge better or Galleries first BA? Thanks in advance!
We will be there in August flying BA F departing at 1530. I plan to get their early to enjoy the CCR, but if we are leaving from T5 on BA - how to we transit to T3 and back etc?
The LHR terminals are not connected airside so if you are departing from T5 you will only be able to access the lounges in T5. CCR is the best lounge in T5 so enjoy it! Check out my BA First class video if you want to see what the CCR is like inside.
Yep I've definitely had champagne in the Galleries Club lounges both in T3 and T5 before. I think prosecco is self pour and champagne is on request only now.
Brilliant video - very informative. How many glasses of champers? :) Well done for getting on the plane! I agree with your assessments...Cathay Pacific and Qantas are the best, BA are ok. Personally both AA lounges look rather sterile to me so I wouldn't go to either. I've yet to try CP or BA First...but CP First would be my choice once I get Gold status. As Silver currently I really liked the Qantas lounge. The big advantage is that CP/Qantas are generally not as busy (I assume) as BA simply because it's London i.e. BA have so many more flights.
Let's just say I'm glad I recorded the voiceover another day, I would have struggled on the day with the number of glasses I had haha. Definitely agree with CX and QF lounges being the best (although they can get fairly busy at times). I think BA F is pretty good and usually the quietest. The AA lounges are quite drab, I'd avoid them, although the breakfast in AA F dining room is decent. Qantas are planning on opening a dedicated First lounge when they start their direct LHR-SYD route so will definitely need to check that out.
Sorry if I missed it but... As a nobody with no cards and no statues with anyone or anything can you pay cold hard cash to get into any of these? Great video though! Really enjoyed seeing all the different lounges and offerings.
You can pay to get into the No1 and Aspire lounges for about £40ish a visit. Any of the other oneworld lounges require either status or a business/first class ticket.
Does anyone know if the noodle bar at Cathay Pacific lounge opens when the lounge opens at 530am? Asking for a friend… :D but yes I want dim sum for breakfast!
@@FlyManYann cool, thanks, what time did you have it? Trying to figure out when it may open. Cathay Pacific don’t actually appear to state this anywhere online on their official pages.
I was there around 09:00 so not really helpful for you. I have just had a quick look online and I found a blog that mentions breakfast is served from 05:30-11:30 so hopefully you'll be fine!
@@FlyManYann Thanks for that, and yeah, I think that the breakfast service may just be the hot and cold buffet selection. On another vlog they said the First Class lounge a la carte menu was served from 11am, so I’m figuring that might mean the noodle bar opens at 11am… Anyway, not to worry as there’s definitely going to be food! :) Thanks again :)
Crikey, how many hours did you allot for this? I'm surprised you got in with Priority Pass, as I thought the entry rule was 2 hours (max 3) before your flight?
I turned up about 7 hours before my flight! I was aiming for roughly 40mins per lounge. Had no problem with the Priority Pass lounges even though I was well in advance, I told them I'd be in and out. The lounge I did have an issue with was the Amex Centurion lounge - they wouldn't budge on letting me in until it was T-3.
Ah I hadn't heard of this product before! I've just had a look and it seems like if you're flying from Heathrow, then Qantas Club membership will give you access to the Qantas London lounge even if you're flying in economy.
I had the same purser on my return flight the next day and he said he came to serve me champagne on the outbound and found me slumped in my seat knocked out!

Subscribed! Great video, lovely to see another OneWorld focused UK based YTber!
Thanks for watching! I've got some more oneworld related videos on the way (as well as others)
A most excellent review of the lounges. And you have great taste in beverage selection.
Thank you - the Champagne will never stop flowing 🍾🫡
SO comprehensive! loved this video!
Glad you enjoyed it! This was a pretty fun one to film 🍾
Great video, thanks! I've got a 6hr layover at T3 later today. My current plan is to visit CX F and then finish up in QF.
Cheers Paul! Sounds like a plan - hope you enjoyed the lounges!

I did similar thing 5 years ago. But not 12. Visited BA, Qantas, Cathay, AA, and Aspire as I had 5 hours to kill. My favorite were Qantas and Cathay.
Good going! Agree with your favourites - on a normal day I'd camp out in CX F
Cathay Pacific First and Virgib Clubhouse are clear winners in T3 if not across all Heathrow terminals
💯
Great video. You should do a follow up and compare specifics of the lounges e.g. which is better to work in, which has the better food etc.
That's a good shout! I might experiment with some YT Shorts covering these topics next time I'm in these lounges 🤔

@@FlyManYann you did a pretty good job with the shots of Champagne 🍾🥂 😉
Great video, loved it. I guessed who the winner would be although if Virgin Clubhouse was included it could be close but it's a bit too busy now.

Hey, as a frequent traveller from LHR you cant use lounges in different terminals. They do not interconnect unfortunatly, hope that helps

When I was last in the T3 Galleries Club lounge they had champagne on self pour oddly, maybe it was just a one off. This was last June though

Can confirm if you ask a staff member in the BA business lounge and they'll bring you a glass of proper champagne :) @@FlyManYann
HKG has 10 lounges for you.
5x Cathay Pacific
Qantas
Amex Centurion
Plaza Premium
Kyra Lounge
Chase Sapphire
