ikea in city center target for condo resident but larger Ikea in mega Bangna in South bangkok and Ikea bangyai in north bangkok is massive size

I recommend that if you have time and want to go see more interesting shopping malls, local people like to go, the price is more affordable. Try going to the mega mall outside Bangkok. I recommend that two places are very interesting: Mega Bangna and Central Westgate Bang Yai. Both of these malls are very large. Inside, there are also various brands of shopping malls. For Mega Bangna, It isn't much far away from where you stay. You need to take a Grab taxi, keep in mind that don't go in rush hour.
And if you are a fan of Public parks. I recommend going to Benchakitti Park because of its enormous scale. Visit there since the evening is the best time.

Ikea at Emsphere target people living in a condo. So there're not much furniture at that branch. The bigger are at Mega Bangna and Central westgate where their target are detach house resident.

Hey Anthony and Caroline! To get to the MEGA BANGNA shopping center with the huge IKEA, you can take the BTS Skytrain Green Line to the ODOM SUK BTS STATION. Right below the ODOM SUK BTS station, you will see a 7-11 convenience store, and in front, there will be a FREE SHUTTLE stop to MEGA BANGNA that will take you to the shopping center and back at no charge. It runs every 15-20 minutes. I believe the shuttle stops running around 11pm. I did this last year in November. You can see videos of this shuttle on UA-cam.

Bangkok and the big cities in Thailand have lots of malls and they have everything you need not just for shopping because the country is too hot so most of people choose to go to the malls. So happy to see your channel keeps growing 😊

Among 3 Ems (we call them Em District, they are all owned by the same lady who owns Paragon mall), I personally prefer EmQuartier. EnQuartier offers more options of restaurants & cafes and it gives you a feel of shopping. Emporium is the oldest one, it used to be very nice but now it looks packed. As for EmSphere, I feel like it is not shopping mall, it is just a place to display things & some merchandises. I think the fruit tea that you had at Bear House is fruit tea toped with whip cheese. It is popular among young adults. 😄

@@ChovyTravelShe also owns another one named Bangkok Mall which is under construction. Bangkok Mall is located at the Bangna intersection near Udomsuk BTS station and it will be the largest mall in SEA, open in 2026.

Emsphere's Ikea is a small branch. Some items are not available here. The bigger one is at Mega Bangna or Central Westgate. But lately, I go to Emsphere since it's not far from my place, and I let them deliver to my place anyway :-D

You guys were at the smaller Ikea that's why there was less stuff there. There's another one at Mega Bangna that is a large size like the one's in the states. And then yet another one at Central Westgate. I see live lobsters all the time at Red Lobster in the states...lol

We have never seen live lobster at Red Lobster! But then again we have only been to two locations in California and it’s been awhile back 😂.
There are 2 other much bigger Ikea locations on the skirt of Bkk. This one is catered to City life Condo style furniture. It’s mainly for ppl who are in the city and dont wanna drive far.

1. Take BTS > choose Udomsuk station. There are the Shuttle Buses to Mega Bangna (the massive Ikea is here too)

Hi, i’m Thai and for me is EmQuartier because of food court , supermarket This is the most variety item in Thailand. I’m not sure if you checked it or not.. and they are so many banks inside that you can sit and do everything safely

How's Bangkok compared to NYC or L.A.?
Bangkok is amazing and convenient since all the modern malls are nearby to each other! We haven’t been to NYC but LA does have nice/grand/luxury malls that have a wow factor. However they’re all spread out. You have to make a drive to get to each location and the shops are more inviting in the states (Referring to LA, Las Vegas and some other States). It’s definitely a different feel/experience.

Bangkok is expensive, it's very much a global city where you need a lot of money to have luxury. After adjusting for exchange rates, it is as expensive as London, Paris, NY, etc. Don't fool yourself if you watch all the UA-camrs who stay in BKK - they are staying in outer suburbs in second rate accomodation pretending they've somehow discovered a city with luxury at a bargain price. It is a lie.
