Just to warn buyers on Ebay, recently bought 2 x 9955 for £9.99 on offer. Although description showed cans of 500mls actually received plastic bottles with only 450mls. Also the cans showed octane increase of 9 whereas the plastic bottles only has increase of 4.
Me too, this is why I am doing these tests and posting. With the price of diesel as it is. I stuck the left over in my last tank and got 56mpg and 563 miles between fills. I thought I recorded it to add to this video, but couldn’t find it. Let me know how you get on.
Thanks for commenting. It would be great to get some more people using to see if it is as good as I have experienced. Beyond the fuel usage, the car drove so much better. Now I have changed additive the car feels sluggish.
Just wanted to know if it could possibly be cleaning the injectors as well. Otherwise may you share the link of for the most effective injector cleaner you have used ?
You would use it in every tank, mainly because it improves the drive so much. Without it the car feels sluggish now. It says it burns completely so will not clean the dpf.
The Ester additive I have used. I have not done a video on it, because I did not document it properly. It has a lower cetane content and a lubricant/detergent. If I hadn’t used the this product I would have had happy with it
Great video, just wondering how this cost you just £7,99 as it is showing as £14,99 on ebay. Also intrigued how this will last 6 months as the tin will only treat a couple of tank refills.
I have just looked on the seller I bought from and on eBay in general. Looks like it is in short supply, pushing the price up. I had another bottle before Xmas and I think it was about £8.50? I came in a plastic bottle which most of it had leaked out in the post. This may have something to do with it. I only drive 300-500miles a month, which is why it took so long to use
It actually says on the side of the tin. So on my 2nd fill up now. Does seem to do something and like you say it is quieter than Redex. On a recent run with part Redex already in I managed 51mpg, measured using the brim to brim method. This was latterly a lot of motorways and not going over 70. Audi TT TDI Quattro.
@@belfasta ok so comparable. Then I will check it out. I am going to winter test this one next because the fuel economy has hit the floor due to the low temperatures. I wonder if my test was not representative because it was done in the warmer months
I use mannol’s burning booster for gasoline and It’s easy to start and I have good gas mileage. I will try wynn’s e10 protector for EU E10, but stick with mannol additive when I filling up in UA. (E0). Both has lubricating and some cleaning properties. I think most of the time it's not worth buying premium gas (95 Ron e10), rather use the additives to prolong engine/ fuel system life.

Thank you 🙏 sir
I use mannol ceramo in my petrol car
It works superb
Thanks for the feedback.
I might give it a shot. Always skeptic about additives. A lot of it’s snake oil

@@glchow I will do when I get my new to me daily. I will not add anything to my mk2 Astra tank.
Great video very interesting to see the mpg after use of the fuel additives, i may try the mannol one on my 1995 turbo diesel to see how it works

It does have a cleaning agent . Liqui Moly diesel purge would probably be a better cleaner.
EBay two 500ml bottles 9.99
Good find, when I looked last they had gone up in price
thanks for the video, would you expect to use this in every full tank? or say once in 3 tank fulls, does it help clean DPF too?
You would use it in every tank, mainly because it improves the drive so much. Without it the car feels sluggish now. It says it burns completely so will not clean the dpf.
They have a DPF cleaner too, you can directly add to diesel. I am using it from a month now & DPF issues have almost vanished.
Im in the USA, where can i buy this ?
I bought it on ebay
What's the difference between this and 'MANNOL 9930 Diesel Ester Fuel Additive'? Thanks

Just bought four for £17.59 on ebay 25/5/2024.
On a 60 litre tank how much would I need to add? Rubbish at ratios.
You would need 180ml. The can is 500ml

Archoil?
?
@@glchowposted a link to the UK / EU product page but YT just deletes said link: e.g. just google AR6900-D MAX and AR6400-D MAX
You should try Archoil too.
Snake oil
Thanks for your opinion
@@glchow anytime 👍
Hydra cebo is the best believe me
Thanks for the advice. I may test this next? How much does it cost and does it boost the cetane number?
@@glchow £17:99 a litre boosts cetane 4-8 so pretty good

@glchow I think also we get a winterised diesel aswell. But yeah I've gone from 70 in the summer to 53 as of late.
