Where is the flush fitting in a Yamaha 2008 VX110 Sport . I cannot find it. there is a screw hose connection under the front inside with maybe only 3-4 of clearance. I have an adapter kit, but don't want to feed water into the wrong opening. The manual does not show location just the whole piping system. I have grandchildren coming in a week and need to flush the sandy mud out that bot into it when my husband started it up in shallow water. He quickly shut it off but in deeper water its not flowing out properly to cool..
I've been trying to find out why not both sides. Starboard side is the intercooler drain. So the alloy intercooler never gets a flush which, as we know, alloy and salty water don't mix well!
I have a 2010 VX cruiser. It's been lake ridden all it's life. I only flushed mine about 5 times and never saw water come out the port side pisser while flushing just steam from the water being ran through the engine. When I am on the lake and on plane it shooting out like crazy! Under a load maybe?
Yes because salt can still corrode and damage some parts of the cooling system in your jet ski if it is not flushed out with freshwater. Unfortunately this is just regular maintenance and should be done after every ride. It prolongs the reliability of the jet ski and keeps it safe. I have my jet ski on a lift and I do the same.
Dont forget as yamaha recommends. Once water off give it 2 quick blast of throttle to blow residual water from waterbox and exhaust

Should it come out of the port or starboard (or both) when flushing the ski as well?
No one knows? Mine does not come out of the side while flushing.

No I have a fx sho cruiser supercharged 18 gallons last me 3 hours of good riding
