the processor on the Mate 20 is based on the same architecture than the 855 so It's not late, It's early. The Snapdragon 855 comes a little bit later but also with much better graphics and a little bit better CPU performance
To be honest I think this video is a testament to the OnePlus 6t . This guy mentions that the mate 20 pro destroys the OnePlus 6t ! I would normally take that to mean there was seconds between the 2 phones completing the tasks. However this simply isn't the case it's actually less than a second usually. At the end of the video you say maybe next year OnePlus will get it right?? What do you mean get it right? They already have it right. The mate 20 pro where clearly is faster it's literally negligibly faster not night and day faster. As I say at the beginning it's a testament to the OnePlus and it is in the fact it can keep its own against the next generation of soc and 7nm chip! It's hardly a crashing victory for the mate. It's a slight edge. I have both phones and think the mate 20 pro is fantastic. But do is the OnePlus 6t and it's 100s cheaper. So tbh all this video does is show how good OnePlus 6t is not how good the mate 20 pro is I'm afraid. If it had been seconds in front of the OnePlus it would be a different story but it's not.
Watch phonebuff speed test between McLaren 6t and the iPhone Xs, sd845 6t comes within 1 second of the a12 Xs. It's crazy how good OnePlus and Oxygen OS is.

Very impressive performance by the Mate 20 Pro. It has the new processor though, so the results will probably change once Oneplus releases the 855 Oneplus 7. Huawei has the bragging rights now though.
Speed test may be milliseconds faster but half the price really does justify it for me...and the screen size is better on plus6t also for games and movies
it seems like in most of your OnePlus videos you always against the phone the mate has a 7nm processor while 1+ has 10nm obviously it will perform slightly better the snapdragon 855 is coming with the 7nm so things will be equal

That speedtest dont make sense if your connection is limited. That's relevant only when you have a realy fast connection (+500Mbit) because even the low price smartphones can easily handle a 20mbps conection. As 100mb, 200mb. My sugestion is testing 4g, it's better to see the performance of signal the antennas can get.
