I've seen my friends in this situation. One of my friends went back to her husband 3x because he told her he'd kill her parents, then pick off anyone she cared about if she wouldn't come back. He had the means to do it, and she was scared. He even came to my house one time when she left him. Beat on my door. Broke my window. Threatened me. He didn't spend but 4 days in jail for it. I assume he still hurts her but she's not allowed to talk to me anymore. Stuff like this scared me away from dating. I watched so many loved ones go through it. It's a tragedy.
