Hi sir great explanation! Just one quick question to see if I understood the lesson... Practically if I have an EWG group with lone pairs this will lead to a different product respect to the Felikin-Ahn model in order to minimize lone pairs' repulsions and to maximize orbitals interaction lowering the LUMO. However if this group is able to do a chelation TS with a metal cation the product I will obtain is THE SAME as in the Felkin-Ahn model... is it correct?

Correct indeed!
@@Chemistrylover Thanks man my next exam no longer seems this difficult! Love from Italy!
Best of luck for your exam!
U r teaching is superb.
Thank u
*Isn't the front carbon sp2 hybridised? Then how can be the c=o and c-H bond lie in 180°? It should be 120° angle between them.*
Yes, it's 120°
But how?it is shown 180°
You got it in wrong way! The drawing depicts the atoms are on the same plane the angle is not 180°
Nice explanation thank you
Thankyou it was very helpful
excellent..mind blowing
Sir, does the Felkin Anh model and Cram's rule yield same product??
Yes
Then what's the difference between two?
Felkin-anh model is based on theoretical background, but Cram's rule predicts correct pdt for wrong reason!
That means we can directly apply cram's rule??😬
Yes, you can
nice explanation da
Very nice bro
very helpful
Thank you so much.
Pls check your mail yesterday i sent a question over there .
Pls check your mail. I've sent questions over there .
I got it, if I can solve I will send u
Okay. Waiting thank you so much
Ur explaination is very confusing.. Give reason for choosen conformation
I think I told the reason
