Have you ever used automatic flush values on the end of 3/4 inch poly tubing on each zones for drips too along with the wye filters ? ? I thinking about using wye filters on each zone plus a Russo large filter on my supply line & also those inline automatic flush valves . With your experience what’s your recommendations for the controller & valves manufacturer ? ? Thx again 👍
Would a calcium removal chemical like CLR or diluted muriatic acid be ok for dissolving lime deposits from the screen?
Possibly. The only thing I would be concerned about or cautious with is remaining chemical residue left on the filter and getting into the system and then on your plant material, potentially killing your plants. I’m not sure if that would happen or not but that is my first thought. Usually if a filter gets bad like that we just replace it with a new one.
