Im not a trainer but i think that yelling and wanting your trainee to do more that he can handle, is a way of training. You dont expect him to actually get that far. You just want him to give everything. Of course you cant do that with someone from the gen z😂 they probably give up immediatly go to theraphy and cancel u on social media
@@the1andonly975 I'm a casual gymgoer and doing 100 pushups I very very suboptimal. A challenge is required but doing 100 pushups is... 1. Unrealistic especially for a beginner (75 is already amazing) 2. Won't trigger your muscles to adapt because there is not enough resistance 3. Due to excessive, repetitive motion could trigger tendon and joint issues There is too much risk and little to nothing to gain. A better alternative is to do weighted pushups or another progression of pushups.

For most men of his look and age, even if they can’t do 100 pushups yet, 100 is well within reach with even a little regular practice, if they don’t have a bum shoulder or some chronic disease. It’s a starting point and one should not be afraid to just “fail” and show exactly where your limitations are right now. How does she know where to start if she gives you a number you can do with ease?
Bit harsh of a start, first of weird to do push ups in a gym, isn't there any dumbbells or a barbell ? Second if he's training for the first time you just tell them to do as many push ups as they can, and then work from there
