F150 Raptors have better resale values than Tacoma’s so if that continues to play out for the bronco Raptor and this new ranger raptor I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. If Toyota continues to have quality issues breaking a front differential on a new trd off-road truck with minor stress for instance the Toyota resale may start to wane.

Anyone else notice how the big 3 jacked up full size prices 30-40% right before they all rolled out their new, flagship mid-sizers? Now all the mid-sized pickups sit exactly where the full-sized trucks used to be in price range. This was all just a pricing exercise and economical game from the very beginning.
Have you noticed that the price of food & energy has risen over the past 3 years? Transportation cost have also risen. Diesel fuel has risen. The price of wood fuel pellets, too. It takes more dollars to purchase the same product. Interest rates have increased. Government mandates on what mfgs have to incorporate into there new products, now cost the manufacturers and they past it on to the consumer. Gooberment does not figure the cost of food & energy into the rate of inflation because Gooberment likes to tell lies to “We The Sheeple”

Yep, that would be awesome. And have it split, 60/40 so you could just remove the section behind the driver, or both sides. The back seat and these mid-sizes are not good for passengers so they should make them better for cargo.
I honestly wonder if the seats should be removed. The part you sit on for sure. But the part behind your back should probably be bolted in at that hinge area imo.
I don't care about complete removal, but I hate those cubby things. Just give me a simple flat floor I can do whatever I want with, like the F-150. Ridgeline is the only midsize that does the back seat right IMO.

I have a Chevy Colorado ZR2 & love the truck, but must admit that this is the new mid-size King. 👍🏻 The Tacoma is basically in 4th place if we separate the GMC & Chevy. That’s not just an opinion, but rather the blunt reality in terms of capabilities & equipment.
I stood my ground at an over sticker experience. I laughed and bought from another dealer and then took it to the oversticker dealer for service (it was closer) I always would pop my head in the finance guy (of the over sticker dealer) and say hello and nothing more. I didn't have to say I bought it somewhere else. He damn well knew.
You shouldn't need a special relationship with a dealer to avoid markups. That's what the MSRP/sticker is for (for everybody). If anything, a special relationship with a dealer should put you below MSRP/sticker.
Designed and engineered in Australia - this has a little trick up it’s sleeve: turn the ignition off without putting the transmission selector back into Park and watch it put itself back into Park automatically
It would be interesting to see if Ford Australia will introduce a Ford Everest Raptor, provided there is a market for it worldwide. ( The Everest is the SUV version of the Ranger outside the USA/North America market.)

I absolutely LOVE Red vehicles. My last pickup was a 11 Ranger XLT super cab 4WD. We bought it used with only 20K miles. It was Silver. (We Hate Silver, Grey, Charcoal Grey and Black), but we bought it for $6K less than book price. It was mainly used for work around our property. I wanted to break up the Silver, so I had it 2 toned in Red metallic from the lower belt line down. It also had Gloomy Grey and Death Black interior so I had it reupholstered in Red with black trim and stitching. Everyone complimented me on what a beautiful truck it was. I sold it right before I bought my 23 Tacoma TRD double cab, 6’ bed with Premium and Technology pkgs. The Ranger had custom wheels, A/T tires, a K&N intake, Flowmaster exhaust, a LineX spray in bed liner, tonneau cover, running boards and red pinstripes, rear air shocks. It booked out for $22K and I sold it for $28K. It had only 36K miles. It looked show room new. The very first week of ownership with my 23 Tacoma, I installed a K&N cold air intake, a FlowMaster FlowFX turn down exhaust system. It’s White and I’m saving up to have it 2 toned as well in Barcelona Red metallic that will follow the body lines of my Tacoma. I’m currently waiting for Katzkin to finish making TRD Red seat covers with Black trim and stitching. After Katzkin removes the factory Black Leather seat covers and installs the TRD Red, my buddy is buying the Black Leather for his 23 TRD that has Grey cloth interior. I wish that my truck would have been painted the Barcelona Red, but finding any Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab with a 6’ bed and the Premium and Technology pkgs are VERY hard to find. Furthermore I bought my 23 on 2/29/24. It was the dealerships owners truck with 6K miles. It booked for $51,848, but I bought it for $48K. I had been looking all over WA state and Idaho for the truck I wanted in Barcelona Red for almost a year, so I grabbed the one I bought. If I could have found one in Barcelona Red, I would have had it 2 toned in Tan metallic. By the time I’m finished with my White TRD, it too will be a 1 of a kind like my old Ranger. Thanks for letting this old duffer ramble. I Love your new Ranger. I’m sure that you will enjoy it very much. I hope it doesn’t break down as fast as your Blue 24 Tacoma did. Cheers !
Here in Ontario Canada the Ranger Raptor "starts" at $80,140.00 LOL Came to $92,338.00 with spray in bed liner, block heater and red paint (including tax)....Great bargain!!

Everyone will say "So what?" because of the exchange rate, but with our higher housing and fuel costs and the fact our salaries are calculated without any regard for the exchange rate, it is actually more expensive for us relatively speaking.

They could get custom tinted Raptor liner using the factory paint code. TINTABLE RAPTOR REQUIRES TINT (1 LITRE RAPTOR BOTTLE REQUIRES 3OZ OF PURE TINT).

I can get way more for a Explorer ST and yes have hood struts and rear a/c vents. With similar capabilities. Never mind a low mileage certified F150 with better capabilities, options, configurations, space, power, dependability and ride comfort. So these trucks at these ridiculous prices are only for the cavalier YOLO minded individuals who clearly don't respect the money they've earned or most likely inherited. From the Brighton Ford website it looks like they are one of those dealerships charging markups over MSRP for Ranger Raptors and Bronco Raptors. Glad you guys got the hookup but it would be worth calling them out on the fact that if you aren’t somehow connected they will stick it to you on the price. The way I look at it, they can make some extra scratch by selling these few vehicles over MSRP to folks with more money then brains but in doing so they are also tarnishing their image and reputation. It’s their shop and their rules, but I hope people will remember how they put extra profit ahead of reputation since that will probably come into play one day when a customer needs service. Are they going to go that extra mile for the customer or will they, as evidenced here, put all their effort into wringing out a few extra bucks?

Nice truck. I hate the vertical screen. Hadn’t been in a ford in awhile…still had the cheap-sounding door chime. Taco TRD pro is do much better looking than this.
Pretty toy. Graphics and paint make it special. Of course, you pay through the nose for it. Cool that it has dual lockers! Sucks you have to activate it in an infotainment screen. Vs a lever. "Pepper" was reasonably priced. What I want to know is, with out Roman, who is going to cut the check for it? lol I guess this is the before we buy buying pre-quill video. IF I were a truck driver, this might be on my radar. Although, I do miss driving the 1st Gen. Raptor with the V8. That was a nice truck! Paid that much for a truck and you still have to prop the hood open... My 1995 Grand Prix didn't even have a hood prop. My 06 GMC Sierra Z71 doesn't have a hood prop either...
My 2016 Canyon has gas struts on both sides of the hood. I guess Ford was trying to reduce weight by installing a hood prop. I assume the prop rod is made of titanium, right?

I just don't like the digital gauges in everything these days. Sure having a screen with some info and options is great, but give us some analog gauges. The digital dash in this is the same as every other car.

It reminds me of the Laser Red they had on cars in the 90s, that was a 3 stage color with a matte rose gold base layer, candy red midcoat and clear. Beautiful in the sun when clean... kinda dull when it gets older. Strange fading too because the sun fades the red midcoat much faster than the gold base coat.
Anyone else think $58K for this isn't all that bad. That being said, if I had 100 trillion dollars I wouldn't pay a stealership $20K over. Not 1 $ over MSRP!!!
Truck doesn’t look good anymore. The body is rather chunky fat with no muscles. Like the Tacoma, it’s over priced. Truck buyers, stay away from these trucks and let them sit in the dealer lots until no mark up applies.
I loved the Raptor Ranger I test drove and was ready to sign in the dotted line until the dealer did the mark up shuffle on me and I told them where to stick it. Be getting my TRD Pro in July, already put $500 to hold it and getting it optioned up for NO markup and @ $ 59,500. Hope it's worth it.
Good looking truck, but according to Ford, it does NOT come with ventilated seats...only power, heated seats. I'm sorry, at that price point every competitor has ventilated seats, at least as an option, and Ford does not even offer an option. Might not be a big deal to some, but in hot places it sure feels nice!

You never ever have to worry aboht the hood falling on yohr head becsuse yohre not trusting a tiny seal to not give way bro and bumps to the back of the head kills people turns them into vegetables or they get back to lime 90% but have to learn to walk again or speak woth a elong mah nurolink bro. The prop rod when the car is 15 years old you go to sell it and it will still work. Honestly for this price through to me it should have gas shocks and prop rod for when they go bad you can just take them off. Weight reduction.

nice truck! love the color! i have a Tremor and plan on downsizing soon and would love to get the Ranger Raptor. i may have to order one as there may be very few on lots to choose from. I will not pay over MRSP, did that with my Bronco Badlands, not again.
I absolutely LOVE Red vehicles.
My last pickup was a 11 Ranger XLT super cab 4WD.
We bought it used with only 20K miles.
It was Silver. (We Hate Silver, Grey, Charcoal Grey and Black), but we bought it for $6K less than book price. It was mainly used for work around our property.
I wanted to break up the Silver, so I had it 2 toned in Red metallic from the lower belt line down.
It also had Gloomy Grey and Death Black interior so I had it reupholstered in Red with black trim and stitching.
Everyone complimented me on what a beautiful truck it was.
I sold it right before I bought my 23 Tacoma TRD double cab, 6’ bed with Premium and Technology pkgs.
The Ranger had custom wheels, A/T tires, a K&N intake, Flowmaster exhaust, a LineX spray in bed liner, tonneau cover, running boards and red pinstripes, rear air shocks.
It booked out for $22K and I sold it for $28K. It had only 36K miles. It looked show room new.
The very first week of ownership with my 23 Tacoma, I installed a K&N cold air intake, a FlowMaster FlowFX turn down exhaust system.
It’s White and I’m saving up to have it 2 toned as well in Barcelona Red metallic that will follow the body lines of my Tacoma.
I’m currently waiting for Katzkin to finish making TRD Red seat covers with Black trim and stitching.
After Katzkin removes the factory Black Leather seat covers and installs the TRD Red, my buddy is buying the Black Leather for his 23 TRD that has Grey cloth interior.
I wish that my truck would have been painted the Barcelona Red, but finding any Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab with a 6’ bed and the Premium and Technology pkgs are VERY hard to find. Furthermore I bought my 23 on 2/29/24. It was the dealerships owners truck with 6K miles. It booked for $51,848, but I bought it for $48K.
I had been looking all over WA state and Idaho for the truck I wanted in Barcelona Red for almost a year, so I grabbed the one I bought.
If I could have found one in Barcelona Red, I would have had it 2 toned in Tan metallic.
By the time I’m finished with my White TRD, it too will be a 1 of a kind like my old Ranger.

Here in Ontario Canada the Ranger Raptor "starts" at $80,140.00 LOL Came to $92,338.00 with spray in bed liner, block heater and red paint (including tax)....Great bargain!!
Yeah but that’s Canadian dollar. 80k Canadian is 60k US. More but not crazy more especially that Canadian dealers are not allowed to charge markups.

@Pante… Yeah but he is in Canada. The $81K Canadian dollar he mentions is $60k US dollar and specifically say above that this is more expensive than your new HD diesel. Which isn’t. I got a new HD diesel last year too and it was $70k US dollar so I know the price.
Everyone will say "So what?" because of the exchange rate, but with our higher housing and fuel costs and the fact our salaries are calculated without any regard for the exchange rate, it is actually more expensive for us relatively speaking.

They could get custom tinted Raptor liner using the factory paint code. TINTABLE RAPTOR REQUIRES TINT (1 LITRE RAPTOR BOTTLE REQUIRES 3OZ OF PURE TINT).
Foolishly purchased and scandalously priced for planned obsolescence. $60k for a mid sized truck with no hood struts or rear a/c vents. I can get way more for a Explorer ST and yes have hood struts and rear a/c vents. With similar capabilities. Never mind a low mileage certified F150 with better capabilities, options, configurations, space, power, dependability and ride comfort. So these trucks at these ridiculous prices are only for the cavalier YOLO minded individuals who clearly don't respect the money they've earned or most likely inherited. Just because you can and want to doesn't mean you should. What's next paying $20 for a Mcdouble at McDonald's just because you want a hamburger 😮 Stop being foolish and creating a society where someone can shit in a bucket, call it fertilizer and sell it for top price. From the Brighton Ford website it looks like they are one of those dealerships charging markups over MSRP for Ranger Raptors and Bronco Raptors.
Glad you guys got the hookup but it would be worth calling them out on the fact that if you aren’t somehow connected they will stick it to you on the price. The way I look at it, they can make some extra scratch by selling these few vehicles over MSRP to folks with more money then brains but in doing so they are also tarnishing their image and reputation.
It’s their shop and their rules, but I hope people will remember how they put extra profit ahead of reputation since that will probably come into play one day when a customer needs service. Are they going to go that extra mile for the customer or will they, as evidenced here, put all their effort into wringing out a few extra bucks?

Pretty toy. Graphics and paint make it special. Of course, you pay through the nose for it. Cool that it has dual lockers! Sucks you have to activate it in an infotainment screen. Vs a lever. "Pepper" was reasonably priced. What I want to know is, with out Roman, who is going to cut the check for it? lol I guess this is the before we buy buying pre-quill video. IF I were a truck driver, this might be on my radar. Although, I do miss driving the 1st Gen. Raptor with the V8. That was a nice truck! Should see if my local Ford will sell me 1 for less than 50K lol.
Paid that much for a truck and you still have to prop the hood open... My 1995 Grand Prix didn't even have a hood prop. My 06 GMC Sierra Z71 doesn't have a hood prop either...
My 2016 Canyon has gas struts on both sides of the hood. I guess Ford was trying to reduce weight by installing a hood prop. I assume the prop rod is made of titanium, right?

The sad POS is still rolling around in East TN so it couldn't have been that bad. Got it with 55k on the clock and gave it to my brother in law when it had 160k. He sold it to some fat old guy I worked with back in the day. He kicked it and his son is driving it around haha.
Trailer electric hanging down off the bumper is idiotic. Also, no rear AC vents makes this a no-go for anyone with kids... Stupid, cheap FORD strikes again.

It will always be just a baby Raptor. Just bought a Chevy Silverado maybe just a little bit jealous😂😂but I had the opportunity to buy one for the same price 57+ and chose the Chevy over the Ranger it is great bang for your buck . My truck cost a good bit more unfortunately.

I just don't like the digital gauges in everything these days. Sure having a screen with some info and options is great, but give us some analog gauges. The digital dash in this is the same as every other car.

It reminds me of the Laser Red they had on cars in the 90s, that was a 3 stage color with a matte rose gold base layer, candy red midcoat and clear. Beautiful in the sun when clean... kinda dull when it gets older. Strange fading too because the sun fades the red midcoat much faster than the gold base coat.

Truck doesn’t look good anymore. The body is rather chunky fat with no muscles. Like the Tacoma, it’s over priced. Truck buyers, stay away from these trucks and let them sit in the dealer lots until no mark up applies.

I loved the Raptor Ranger I test drove and was ready to sign in the dotted line until the dealer did the mark up shuffle on me and I told them where to stick it. Be getting my TRD Pro in July, already put $500 to hold it and getting it optioned up for NO markup and @ $ 59,500. Hope it's worth it.
Id say ranger raptor is better than a TRD. I think the ranger raptor is gonna be hard to beat.

Good looking truck, but according to Ford, it does NOT come with ventilated seats...only power, heated seats. I'm sorry, at that price point every competitor has ventilated seats, at least as an option, and Ford does not even offer an option. Might not be a big deal to some, but in hot places it sure feels nice!

Bedliner from the manufacturers are really not great quality. Very thin and scratch up easily. Better off going with deal or aftermarket sprayed liner

Man i hate those things with a passion. Relocatable prop rod is the greatest. You never ever have to worry aboht the hood falling on yohr head becsuse yohre not trusting a tiny seal to not give way bro and bumps to the back of the head kills people turns them into vegetables or they get back to lime 90% but have to learn to walk again or speak woth a elong mah nurolink bro. The prop rod when the car is 15 years old you go to sell it and it will still work. Honestly for this price through to me it should have gas shocks and prop rod for when they go bad you can just take them off. Weight reduction.
