As always R.D. King impresses with his virtuosity. His music is sophisticated even in its simplicity; what nowadays is so difficult where we hear the speed of the notes and not the harminizzation in subtle combinations of musical notes, but for our comfort we have the virtuosity of musicians that Candyrat records presents in its huge catalog. The fact is that Candyrat has become in the last ten years a kind of oasis in the middle of the desert of musical mediocrity. I’ve waited a week to let this new ep absorb a little. My first listen was on the way to work at 3:30 in the morning last Saturday. The album was the exact time of my drive. All of your albums are great, but this one is exceptional. You are Always a master of melody, but the production on this one is perfect. I love the swell of reverb as the track fades on this one. Into the mist… you are my favorite current finger style artist. While others tend to be flashy, your depth of melody and composition are phenomenal. Thank you for the beautiful music, RD! Any tours through the Midwest planned? I would love to see you in Kansas City!
Can anyone please help me find a nice sounding guitar like this or Mike daws or similar kind of players? Are there any guitars that will sound this good in the 1000$ range? Or cheaper?
