Hi Debbie, I am Jamaican but living in Canada since the 80s, and watching you on May 22, 2022, because I have just searched for how to make Jamaican Toto. Now, I am a vegan, I eat only plant-based foods and you have added 2 ingredients that I will not use. They are brown sugar and butter. For baking in Canada, vegans use Maple Syrup, but what can I use to replace butter? Can I use Olive Oil? Just so you know, the cake looks really good and while you were cooking, it brought back memories of my Jamaican culture. I await your response and stay safe in this era of diseases. Blessings!
Thank you ms, Debbie, I like how you explained the measurements, I have been following your cooking channel for a long time, you're authentic, love you .💕 always.
