    Any reason you went to the Cat 18 vs the duo cat 12 you had in previous videos? Or do you still have both?

      (This is Andy) my Duo is still my daily device, but I am always testing other modems so grabbed this one for this video. The cat 18 is a great device and there is a a small speed boost if you compare a single cat 12 to single cat 18.

    Hey Andy, thanks so much for this video! It is super helpful! I do have a question. Is it possible to change the time zone setting for the usage reports?

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  3 роки тому +1

      You can change it via inControl, but I don't think you can do it on the device itself. Since it is all just relative. Not sure what reports you are looking at, but inControl has even more reports that the router directly and more options. So might be worth checking out.

      @@MobileMustHave thank you for the reply! I will have to check out inControl.

      It is possible! System Tab>Time>Time Zone. Might need to reboot it afterwards.

    Can the video stream quality be limited, from say 1080 to 720 from the Pepwave?

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  2 роки тому +1

      yes but it wont limit streaming quality, it will just limited the bandwidth that device is given. For example if you want to stream at 720, usually 1.5mbps is what you want to allow that device to utilize. This can be done by setting an individual bandwidth limit. We have a help article that shows you how to setup device limits/group limits here: support.mobilemusthave.com/support/solutions/articles/67000482538-enabling-bandwidth-limit-by-group

    Is the Bandwidth Control available on the BR1 Mini device? This sounds like a way to prevent apps like UA-cam, UA-camTV, Netflix, Prime from consuming too much data by limiting the devices that use them - is that correct? Thanks So Much this is very helpful!

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  3 роки тому

      It is and that is a great use case for the feature. The only thing the unit wont do that units like the ENT and Transit can do is setup different bandwidth groups. With the mini the bandwidth limits are set system wide for all devices but it is still a great feature to give say 3-4mbps to device to prevent netflix from hogging the entire pipe.

    I have the mk2 Full timer bundle and I do not have the User Groups selection under the Advanced tab in the QoS category. It only shows Bandwidth Control and Application. Any idea why? Ive tried factory reset. firmware v8.1.3

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave  2 роки тому

      the MK2 series does not support groups, that is a feature reserved for the Transit and Transit Pro series due to limitations on the processing power of the device and what Pepwave included in the feature set of the BR1 vs Transit line.
