Apologies my eyes dart around in some clips, we had a camera failure in filming and I had no idea what camera to look towards! New batteries were ordered!
I bond over SFC for all our Zoom calls, its the hallmark of why we run Pepwave equipment :)
Wow, thank you so much for a great overview on the system itself and the specifics on how to get it all going. Very much appreciated and I'll be looking for more videos down the road!
Thank you!!! I have been looking for this information and you are spot on! Great tutorial! I definitely will sign up for a membership. Bless you!
Glad it was helpful! Here is more info on our memberships- mobilemusthave.com/collections/membership
Wow, thank you so much for this! Great helpful info presented super clearly! 👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Nice information

When you have multiple sources in priority 1, do they all use some data simultaneously? I have Xfinity and a Verizon data card, I mainly would want to use Xfinity data and only use Verizon data if Xfinity is down or slow. Would I just put Verizon in priority 2 and would it switch seamlessly to Priority 2, when needed, without dropping me off of a Microsoft Teams meeting?
Only connections in priority 1 will function in your SpeedFusion tunnel. If you have anything in priority 2 it will not be part of the tunnel and only work when all connections in priority 1 are down (meaning your team's call will drop while it fails over to priority 2 then reconnect once the priority 2 connection is online). Technically what you are asking is possible, you would want to bring down the weighted balance of the Verizon connection inside your SpeedFusion tunnel so that it was used less in the tunnel (while still being in priority 1). Note this may also impact the performance of the tunnel if the backup connection is not as available as the primary connection (your actively telling the router to use its safety net less) but it should work and would require testing for your specific use. We cover how to do this in our member forum webinar where we discuss how to apply a weighted balance to your Speedfusion tunnel. Here is a link to that webinar for members: www.rvmobileinternet.com/peplink-speedfusion-connect/
for video conferencing would we get better performance with bonding, or dynamic weighted bonding? if we measure performance as smoothness of the video conference call and not peak throughput or resolution
So, you would want to go with Dynamic-Weighted Bonding. The new algorithm from Peplink is much better at balancing the connections and provides a better overall connection! If you are having any issues with your connections, reach out to us via email at support@mobilemusthave.com and we can help you get that fixed!
Could you use dynamic weighted bonding? With the 8.3 firmware update, would it work more efficiently?
Yes, on connections with different speeds, the Dynamic Weighted Bonding works great! Check out this guide for more information- www.rvmobileinternet.com/peplink-firmware-8-3-is-packed-with-new-features-synergy-mode-dynamic-weighted-bonding-unlimited-speedfusion-data-and-virtual-wan/
I have a Starlink and would like to purchase the speed fusion for more stability. However, my question is do I need to purchase additional At&t or Verizon service for the speed fusion?
Hello, you would need a Peplink that supports SpeedFusion along with another internet connection, as you need something to bond the Starlink with. A additional data plan/SIM card would work great! Check out our data plans at mobilemusthave.com
so the speed fusion plans I see are from $100 up to more than 4k. did the $40 plan for 1tb disappeared??
Here is a link to the $40 1t plan- mobilemusthave.com/products/speedfusion-cloud-plan-options?variant=39885917749347
Forgive the stupid question - is just having the two sim cards in my Max Transit Pro (in slots A1 and A2, for example) not bonding them - I HAVE to use SpeedFusion Cloud to get them to bond? I have a Verizon in one slot and AT+T in the other, and it seems the same performance as just having one of them in on its own......thanks....
Hi Dan! Yes, you do have to bond the two using SpeedFusion. Here's an article we made that can help you get that set up: support.mobilemusthave.com/en/support/solutions/articles/67000690510-enabling-speedfusion-connect-protect-on-peplink-devices
If you need any help getting it set up, reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com!
Let's say I already have 1) starlink, 2) TMobile home internet but I don't want any additional internet bundle.
How do I combine these two together? What device can I use (can you list all of them? ) ?
probably the most economical would be the Balance 20x which has an integrated CAT 7 modem and a slot to add a second modem down the road. It has 1x WAN port which can be used for Starlink but with an optional WAN license, you can add a second virtual WAN port via a LAN port giving you 2 WAN inputs, one for TMO and one for Starlink and then you would have up to 3 additional cellular connections on the Balance 20x itself (one embedded, one via the expansion slot and one via the USB port where you could add a MAX adapter). That is the most economical choice here: mobilemusthave.com/products/pepwave-balance-20x-cat-7-expandable-to-dual-modem-lte-router but note it does not support WIFI as WAN but you probably wont need that. The higher-end choice that would support 2x 5G Connections and 2x WAN ports + USB port right out of the box would be the BR2 which is more money but a powerhouse for multi-wan. Here is the BR2: mobilemusthave.com/products/pepwave-max-br2-pro-5g-dual-modem-cat-20-mobile-router-wifi-6
Why don't I have the link to wifi cloud option on my br1 mini hw2? firmware 8.3 thanks
Hello, please reach out to us on chat and the team can help guide you in what you are trying to do.
Silly question… do you have service people that can install/configure this for me?
You can reach out to us and we do offer a paid support engagement you can request and SpeedFusion is something they can help with.

So, wifi range depends on the specific model of Peplink and/or external antenna you have. If you have any follow-up questions, please reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we'll be happy to help! Thank you and safe travels!
