You've got a pair of stones on you after what you've been through over the last couple of years I would have thrown the towel in , you have a great bunch of people around you and an amazing supportive wife , good on you Lee
I know what you mean. I have a ZXR400 which I've owned from new and although I can manage quite happily on bigger bikes as I'm not as small as you I keep coming back to that bike. It just does everything right and is such fun to ride. If I could only ever ride one bike again that's the one I'd choose. Must admit I'm getting a bit old for being tucked up like a elephant in a suitcase mind you, I do suffer for a few days after 😂
i know for fact, as i rode one of them 250s myself back then, that it feels amazing in the hand. light, nimble, compact, nervous, all the good stuff you wanna feel on a good bike. almost 100hp for around 100kg. for small men who can ride these, it's golden ratio. feels so good.
Loving seeing your smile Lee. We know when you've enjoyed yasell. 250 n 2 rc45s to play with. Onwards and upwards my guy. All the bloody best to you an family fella
Such excellent content. What the hell did I do with my evenings before this kind of stuff was on UA-cam !? Thanks for the upload. I remember watching 2 stroke bikes racing back in the 70s and 80s. My old dad would scoff at the buzzy bees and wax lyrical about some old Brit bike from his youth. Well, if he was alive today he'd laugh at me waxing lyrical about a smoky ol' 2 stroke.
God I miss two strokes! Obviously never rode anything like that lovely little thing but even the road going stuff was amazing fun. Thanks for sharing Lee and best of luck for the Island.
Ex gearbox Karter here, Two strokes rule OK... love that sound and sitting here I can almost smell it... stunning bike, whatever you do, don't drop it lol
Love two strokes your so lucky to have a great choice, enjoy your time with her. It must be nice to have great people to work with. I miss my time with the Flower Yamaha team. Good luck best wishes to you all from the Philippines ❤️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴
Your boss has the greatest toys 💪 love that the bikes get used and ‘we’ can watch 👍 fyi first 360 pan on track..me thought you crashed and twice i swear i could smell the two stroker in the video 😮😅😂 Cheers
Beautiful bike, my bro used to race them in Europe I got to ride his a few times ! All yours needs now is some JHA exhausts his main bike had the full JHA kit which was a beast.. Love the bodywork styled after the brochure the original panels used in all the RS sales literature and brochures are at Padgetts they were up on a shelf on display last time I went to the shop, the head of HRC in Japan Sent them Clive as a gift for selling so many RS 250’s
Have to say that the RS looks the part so much more now with the new paint. Also have to say that I'm so envious my gills are green. Best of luck at the Manx old bean. 😉
So pleased to see you back at the Manx GP, your 250 looks and sounds mint and will suit you spot on. See you there Rick RJP Racing Mygdal Racing Team Manager.
I have a completely overhauled and rebuilt, not yet fully run in RC 30 set up for the IOM. I have a good friend that lives at Ballaugh. One day I hope to get it over there for the parade.
Another great vlog! I was at thruxton this weekend & loved seeing you back on track, I know you’re not where you want to be in the races but it’s a bit of process getting back to it
Can't wait for the Manx and having you back is the icing on the cake! Great to see you at Thruxton yesterday getting towards the front of the pack again! 👍👍🇮🇲🇮🇲
it truly is !! but you and me can agree that these bikes are for men under 5'7 or 1.70cms. above that you're not in the bike with it. for tall men it's like riding a pocket bike. must be awful to miss 250s because you're too tall.
That RS is the dogs bollocks Lee, A proper bike for a change ! Was it just a trick of the camera ? But the chain looked mighty close to the tyre,,,, The Scruts on the Island might have a gripe about it, if it is that close, You are going to love riding it around the hallowed ground that is the TT course, Not jealous,, Honest, good luck and stay safe !!
Ive raced and trackdayed at cadwell park on yr5 350 production bike and td2 250, td3 250, tz250 and trackdays on tzr 3xv250rsp, and my R7OW02, all a blast around cadwell, i also raced at the manx gp in 76/77/78 on my td3/tz 250's, also did a few t/days on my rd500,. I reckon you should go well on that nsr 250, bin the triumph and reinstate the R6, cheers ,.
I agree with your feelings on the 250 2T…. They are like magic on the track. I always compared riding a 250 2T vs a 750 4T this way….. Wrestling your kid brother who weighs half your weight vs. wrestling your Uncle who outweighs you by 5 stone!!!
That sounded like a really oil heavy mix at 25:1. Appreciate the engine was running in but the smoke out the back in the start of the sessions probably said it all. For all that whilst I got bored with the two strokes in the day, good to hear them back now
This engine sounds fresh, I'm only tuned for super unleaded with my RS250... Aprilia and VHM heads, been addicted to buzz boxes my whole life......twist and go litre bikes are okay, just not the same fun.
2 stroke twins are just awesome to ride. A lot less engine braking. Have to work on your braking points and getting on the gas a lot earlier or someone who rides them all the time will spank you!
Next track day, take the RS out first and work on making all the corners straight so you can keep the momentum up. Then go out on the RC45 and see how much faster you are from riding that RS.
You've got a pair of stones on you after what you've been through over the last couple of years I would have thrown the towel in , you have a great bunch of people around you and an amazing supportive wife , good on you Lee
The RS sounds great, pity I cannot smell it . Rogers grin when he was revving the bike on warm up was like a Cheshire Cat
Couldn't agree more on the smell should bottle it & sell it you'd make a fortune nothing quite like it these days
Or am I just weird 🤔
I know what you mean. I have a ZXR400 which I've owned from new and although I can manage quite happily on bigger bikes as I'm not as small as you I keep coming back to that bike. You can not beat the sound of a two stroke. Bike looks good and from the smile on your face you enjoyed riding it round Cadwell.
i know for fact, as i rode one of them 250s myself back then, that it feels amazing in the hand. light, nimble, compact, nervous, all the good stuff you wanna feel on a good bike. almost 100hp for around 100kg. for small men who can ride these, it's golden ratio. feels so good.
Great to see you have come on leaps and bounds, Back in the swing of things, Lee! Enjoy!
Best of luck at the Manx/Classic TT!
Beautiful night to get my Aprillia RS 250 Rossi Rep out for a blast tonight..
Cheers Lee. 👍
Absolutely singing!!!!!!! Can imagine the smell from here in IOM. Cant wait to see ya here!
Awesome rear camera footage showing how the rear shock moves nearly as much as your feet with best ever soundtrack on UA-cam. Love it
The sight and sound of that beautiful little rs, brings back so many memories of yesteryear simply stunning
Loving seeing your smile Lee. We know when you've enjoyed yasell. 250 n 2 rc45s to play with. Onwards and upwards my guy. All the bloody best to you an family fella

Ex gearbox Karter here, Two strokes rule OK... love that sound and sitting here I can almost smell it... stunning bike, whatever you do, don't drop it lol
What a gorgeous machine (the Honda), takes me back to my LC days and racing my TZR250😊

Love the RS250 I've still got the last one I raced. I still love the 2 stroke smell even if it a old lawn mower 😁
The RS250’s were jewel like, just beautiful
You can't beat the sound of a well tuned two smoker !!! You've got the best man on the job 👌👍
What a flippin luvly bike, sounds lovely -nice and crisp and looks amazing👍
The only fear is having to get a real job 😂😂
Bike's mint lad 👍✌️🏍🏁🇮🇲
Love that wee RS250. Wish I was built to fit on one of them; I’d have one in a heartbeat.
Beautiful bike, my bro used to race them in Europe I got to ride his a few times ! All yours needs now is some JHA exhausts his main bike had the full JHA kit which was a beast.. Love the 2 stroke Lee
Love a go on that probably too big for it.
Mega sound
The 250 is beautiful and both RC45s are stunning too (Nathan going off #1 then?). Can't wait to see them all in a couple of weeks!
So pleased to see you back at the Manx GP, your 250 looks and sounds mint and will suit you spot on. See you there Rick RJP Racing Mygdal Racing Team Manager.

Another great vlog!
I was at thruxton this weekend & loved seeing you back on track, I know you’re not where you want to be in the races but it’s a bit of process getting back to it
Great online footage lee THANKS. i do miss the smell of CASTROL R in the early days though, showing my age now.
Wow Lee your going to have fun on that, Love a two stroke proper racing bikes enjoy & stay safe 🏍️🏍️🏍️

For me, a 250 twostroker is just the best thing and have a great ride at the 🇮🇲 manx 👌
it truly is !! but you and me can agree that these bikes are for men under 5'7 or 1.70cms. above that you're not in the bike with it. for tall men it's like riding a pocket bike. must be awful to miss 250s because you're too tall.

What a beautiful sound. I’m gonna use that as my ringtone now.
2 stroke heaven
250 was always my favourite class in GPs
Amazing as usual
Just a natural on screen
Keep them coming please
Two strokes can’t beat the sound of them❤🏍
Awesome machine. Wish UA-cam had a smell option 😂
As much as I love a 250 2 stroke, we need a fresh video of the 45!!!
Good luck lee 😊
Love the 250 GP machines. Wish I'd raced one.

Amazing bikes
Neils economy of movement is impressive.
Great to see you at thruxton mate thanks for the picture 👍
Hope it goes well at the manx, Dan Sayle did well last year on his RS. You could talk to him at the sulby pub. Buy you a pint if I see you in there 🍻
Ive raced and trackdayed at cadwell park on yr5 350 production bike and td2 250, td3 250, tz250 and trackdays on tzr 3xv250rsp, and my R7OW02, all a blast around cadwell, i also raced at the manx gp in 76/77/78 on my td3/tz 250's, also did a few t/days on my rd500,. 😍
I agree with your feelings on the 250 2T…. They are like magic on the track. I always compared riding a 250 2T vs a 750 4T this way….. Wrestling your kid brother who weighs half your weight vs. wrestling your Uncle who outweighs you by 5 stone!!!
I was there watching you ,my local track 👍
Oh that crisp noise, who doesn’t love two strokes 🤷♂️
The RS is mint lee, look forward to seeing it go round the manx classic
Love that 250….how cool does that look!
The 250 sounds and looks brilliant
Almost smell the Castrol R , 👍 iirc Jmcgs 250 broke down at the nook, think it was 1995.
That RS sounds so sweet!!!!
Best of luck at the classic tt
The crash helmet cam is so cool 👍
That sounded like a really oil heavy mix at 25:1. Appreciate the engine was running in but the smoke out the back in the start of the sessions probably said it all. For all that whilst I got bored with the two strokes in the day, good to hear them back now
Nice one Lee, thanks 👍👍
Good luck Lee!
All the best for the Manx GP :D
This engine sounds fresh, I'm only tuned for super unleaded with my RS250... Aprilia and VHM heads, been addicted to buzz boxes my whole life......twist and go litre bikes are okay, just not the same fun.
Bet that smells awesome ❤
2 stroke Rules ❤
That sounds fantastic
Could not believe how close the chain looked to the rear tire! 85 to 90 RWHP?
For me the 250s were the perfect race bike,
Try to talk the boss into getting a GP bike for you.
A Kreidler 50cc may be a bit small, but worth a try...
Cool bike, sweet vid, have a question bout cornering do u trail brake just use the front brake for curves like the tt or track in general
Mr John Chapman ❤
2 stroke twins are just awesome to ride. A lot less engine braking. Have to work on your braking points and getting on the gas a lot earlier or someone who rides them all the time will spank you!
I know it smells as good as it sounds. Can't not love a stroker.
Aww that’s fkg lush😍
I can't believe how close the chain runs so close to the tyre
Next track day, take the RS out first and work on making all the corners straight so you can keep the momentum up. Then go out on the RC45 and see how much faster you are from riding that RS.
