You rule! I love your lessons. I've been on youtube for years & have never subscribed to anyone....til now...I might as well throw in a request: The Devil Cried by Black Sabbath
Nice lesson, this song was one of the first songs that I learned when I started playing the guitar 3 years ago, but in the tabs that I found, in the verse I just play an regular palm muted E power chord on the top string and do some hammer ons and pull offs in that chord to do the galloping sounds. Do you think the way that I play the verse is true to the record?
Diogo Ricardo Hi Diogo. Thanks for commenting. Not sure really, I'd have to hear it. Also, I'm probably not the best judge (though my ear is fairly good)....
very very goood Thank you sooooo much for trusting your Ears instead you´re Eyes because i think you´re right... it sounds like an octave ... Great THX! i learned it with my "ears" and can´t read notes but i had some tones which i haven´t found ... but now i know the dropped c was not the best idea for it ;-) other tuning.... now it works..
Have you ever consider maybe doing like an Album series? like you pick an album from an artist you enjoy or someone requests and you give lessons on all the songs and such. massive undertaking but its just a suggestion. P.S. if you do this why not start with Sleeps Holy Mountain, you already got one video of it :) or maybe Deep Purples In Rock or Fireball
You should try to include a tab diagram on your video like Bobby Crispy's tutorials, if it's not too much to ask. Or maybe make a tab in word, jpeg or pdf doc and uploaded to a link for download.
Sir Smith, i havent requested something for ages, but i must do it now. Overkill - Soulitude You may add it to your infinite list of requests. Until then, i will just sit here and wait.
