- in total ive played hollow knight for ~310 hours. These fights were over 2/3 of all my time on this game (I got this game about 4 months ago in July)

So the first time i beat pantheon 4 i was down 5 masks after soul tyrant and i thought i was going to die anyway so i did my best and acidentally did pure vessel hitless. The most satisfying feeling i have ever felt in a video game.
I love the idea that you could accidentally beat a boss hitless 🤣 You surprised yourself I guess
Same feeling when I tried the 5th pantheon for the first time without serious practice, expecting to die quickly... And ended up almost finishing it. Gave me hope that it was actually possible to do it without being exceptionally good
That reminds me of when I was going through the second pantheon and was really close to dying before the artist dude and I ended up beating him (and the pantheon by extension) first try
This is insanely impressive. I could easily do NKG, maybe PV, but Absrad is insane. Nice work dude
Markoth on radiant gave me the most trouble. I guess if you don't get voidheart you can use kingsoul and camp in a corner until you can fireball him, but I haven't tried that.
Tip for Markoth, it took me 8 hours the first time cause I didn't use nail arts, but I started using Nail Arts and then it became simple. It's easier in the pantheon than it is in Hall of Gods cause he has less health in the Pantheon. So what you do is you just do 10 great/dash slashes, then wait for him to spin the shield once he starts, you go in best you can probably dash slash, then do 2 more while the shield is spinning, and then you have enough soul for 4 shade souls which are gonna double hit. You can do 5 if you have Spell Twister equipped. Either way it should kill him and if not, just dodge and do a dash slash when he starts spinning cause it'll hit through the shields.
@@pear4576true, nail arts are really strong angainst some radiant bosses, also sly last fase its too much easier if you use nail arts, at least for me

@@holygrail9760 Yes they are, and yeah Sly with nail arts even during normal phase is huge. I found it somewhat difficult at first to properly use nail arts, they didn't come naturally to me...
For me personally spells came naturally, nail arts did not. It's only once I started doing P3AB that I felt forced to use them to survive at the Collector. And well after that I started using them a lot more. But they are honestly very difficult to add to your skill set. Spells are also more essential in my opinion so it's best to focus on learning to use those.
But man for some bosses, nail arts could safe you hours of pain.
it would be nice, if voidheart wasn't the requirement to enter p5 to unlock markoth's radiant form

Yeah, im going to first do p5. I havent done a full run yet, but I have been trying and hopefully will finish before 2024

Nah no Way NKG and PV took a whole 50 hours I did them in like 30 minutes

It took me three months to beat PV for the first time, and another month or two to beat on radiant for my first time. My point is, we are talking about how long it takes to learn how to them radiant

August something, i was grinding out hitless absrad and had been for 175~hrs over the past month
to say i was addicted would be an understatement. September I wanted to get good with the general top 3 hardest bosses (intended hardest, i dont wanna hear anything about markoth, check my newest upload). Then came october. I had spent about 15+ hrs of my time grinding PV in like september and had decided "ykw, im gonna do nkg bc i suck at it." it was too fast for me in the beginning, so this felt like a good idea. On the days leading up to halloween night I sat down, and spent about 5 hours/day grinding the fight. On actual halloween, I beat it. I would say about 210 hours were put into these 3.
Nice job! (WhErE iS mArKoTh?) Why did not you use over-charming? Btw, if you somehow saved Kingsoul, use it on radiant markoth, as fight will be easier, but longer

good work man these fights are definetly one of the hardest an i can understand why it took u over 200 hours to beat them one by one honestly NKG is one of my favourite bosses in the game and honestly im glad i didnt choose to banish him in my main file lol honestly hes the most fun boss and he took like about 20 tries to beat cuz i was really expirienced with him next is pure vessel my 2nd fav boss he is a huge jump from NKG but prob has the best attack patterns in the whole game if u practice him enough u would have like so much knowledge about him that u will predict his attacks (or its just me lol) and abs rad is the 3rd boss i like and tbh this boss is great too but very difficult somehow i havent taken breaks on the markoth radiant but i have from this boss cuz it was such a grind but since i was in calls and stuff with my friends i honestly didnt feel a thing the only reason i even quit the boss for a bit it was cuz of boredom but yea one of my fav bosses id prob rebeat her on radiant cuz shes a fun boss but yea enough ranting lmfao congrats on the no hits im proud of u

My top 3 hardest bosses (onky ascended versions because they are the hardest)
3: pure vessel, after I beat ascended absrad this boss became a joke
2: ascended markoth, the first boss in the hall of gods (keyword: FIRST) to make me cry in the corner
1: absrad, 200 hours? That’s nothing, I SPENT 9 MONTHS TRYING TO BEAT ASCENDED ABSRAD, 9 MONTHS! And remember when I said markoth was the FIRST boss to make me cry in the corner? Absrad is the second, and Zote the mighty, a knight of great renown is the third

@@eFor2 yeah, absrad took too long for the baby they said it was supposed to come in august but it came on October. And ofc as the dad I had to wait that 9 months of beating her up so the baby comes out (don’t ask why I made this comment)

Markoth is the hardest imo took me forever to do him radiant and I had to use gruberfly’s elegy for him but pv is a close 2nd I just suck at him and then absrad is 3rd for me cuz I played it way too much and got good enough to do mostly consistent ascended and usually can do radiant in like 15 attempts and then obblobles is 4th cuz it feels rng on 2nd phase and then NKG is 5th
Also I have like 500 hours and I’m trying to get p5 all bindings individually and only have charm left I started trying 2.5 years ago but stopped for over a year and a half so that’s why it’s been taking forever

I did those 3, and all bosses in the game but 1 in radiant, and I think this last guy, Markoth, is the hardest fight to do in Radiant
I beated AbsRad in radiant yesterday and lemme tell you I got a LITTLE excited..
Pure vessel looks easy because you can see its attacks from a mile away, but nightmare grimm is completely unpredictable
problem is that radiant markoth, gpz, oblobbles even are way harder than rad nkg imo, I've already done nkg hitless on ascended (sucks doesn't it) but i could never do the aforementioned three hitless on ascended
and yeah pv and absrad are fucking impossible so gg lmao
The difficulty gap between absrad with pv and nkg is crazy. I did both nkg and pv on radiant without too much of an issue, but doing absrad on attuned is already harder, haven't even beat the thong on ascended.
I did Pure Vessel for the 2nd time last night. I still can’t even beat AbsRad at all

I beated both Pure Vessel and Nightmare King nohit under 2 hours in total, but it took me 3 to beat fucking Markoth
Anyway, I didn't beat Radiance nohit yet, I'm currently trying Sly (He's so random)
Yeah i did void given focus 2 a few months back... idk why butmpv was a piece of cake
I have played this Game for 150 hours, the only bosses I have left to do on radiant is Abs Rad, Markoth and No eyes, they have the least predictable Patterns. NKG and Pure Vessel are only hard on normal difficulty because they deal so much damage, to kill them on ascended and radiant isn't too much of a difference
No eyes is extremely easy if you know how to take your time and learn your way. With experience and pure skill this could be done on a first or second try on a first playthrough

basically i messed up my charm data on my main acc by using charm mods and even if i load up normal unmodded hollow knight it doesnt let me overcharm

Just got these bosses recently (I've played about 105h total) and I'm still missing about 5 radiants including markoth, dung defender, white defender, oro/mato, and sly. HOW IS THERE SO MUCH TO DO IN THIS GAME??? like literally I'm done with everything including path of pain and theres still Pale Court Mod and bindings for all pantheons left lol.

after 120 hours on this way too goddamn good game and getting 112% on both normal and steel soul, all radiant bosses and p1-p4 done all bindings; p5 ab is the last thing left for me to do (oh and all hunters journal entries 💀) and i SHUDDER at the mere thought of it.

3 hardest hitless fights are definitely absrad. markoth and nkg
I find zote much harder than nkg to do hitless, mainly because every attack nkg does is telegraphed and fair, while zote is completely random and unpredictable

max spell build: Shaman stone, Soul eater & catcher, and spell twister is what i use
Speedrunner tip: Unbreakable strength, shaman stone, quick slash, longnail
Its great for combat and if you want to take almost no damage, try to desloate dive when he slides and launches himself to the air so you can take no damage from the firedrops
P5 enjoyer tip: unbreakable strength, quick slash, shaman stone, steady body, nailmasters glory

NKG and PV aren't that bad to do on radiant, but AbsRad is a complete bs
NKG and Pure Vessel took me about an hour each. Absolute Radiance has taken about 8 hours so far and I still haven't beaten it :(
please use abyss shriek on nkg when he's doing flame pillars its so free
He's using descending dark so much that he needs the soul. And also I don't know if the shrieks do as much damage as the nail hits

Yes, I don't know if I'm a god gamer but I have all achievements in 120h. Idk, for me no boss was harder than 40 minutes of practice. Even absrad (in attuned but still) Only things I'm missing are radiant absrad and markoth and p5ab.
Markoth radiant is _way_ harder than Pure Vessel and NKG.

Nothing special just slight moment of envy. Good job on hitless absrad, personally amount of rng in gpz and markoth fights make them way harder for me to do them radiant over two actually amazingly designed bosses

What are you talking about? Pure vessel and nightmare king grimm are the easiest bosses to win against without taking any hit, i beat all pantheons with every binding all at once and i was completely fine, i also have all bosses at radiant, im a speedrunner in hollow knight
