My ex bf is a ski pro / instructor in Mont Tremblant , Quebec Canada. The resort where Natasha Richardson had her accident. His close friend and co worker was Natasha's professional ski instructor. The instctor did call ski patrol yo bring an ambulance after her fall as she was aware of the severity of head trauma, unfortunately Natasha declined the ambulance, a few hours she was taken to alfalfa hospital then to Montreal where she was declared brain dead. It was so so sad and tragic. Head trauma is no joke, heather im so glad you went right to the hospital, you definitely saved your life.

I had a friend (very long story) who was from the Hasidic community (big one in NJ) whom I became very close to and she decided to leave. She stayed w me and it was 100% like she had been raised on another planet. I have so many stories where she had no idea how our world worked. You are SO spot.on with young girls growing up too quickly. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. None got a phone before 16, Both girls wanted a belly button piercing way before 18 and I wouldn’t allow it, the one thanks me to this day and she’s 31 the other one is 22 and she got one when she turned 18 but that’s fine. Neither were allowed to get the Nails or highlights or extensions or any of that stuff until they were old enough to pay for it themselves, at the age of 18. We need to allow kids to be kids, even if they don’t want to be. One of the articles I read talked about the hotel's 911 call and how odd the person who called sounded. Like it wasn't a big deal? It's stuff like this that sticks with me and makes me have doubts about the official story.
Re Liam Neeson’s wife ‘s tragic death. The problem wasn’t with it being a sub par hospital. The problem was it was a long winding ambulance ride from the ski lodge to a hospital. No air ambulance . She thought she was ok, and turned down an ambulance. Within in an hour she had lost her cognitive abilities and consciousness according to staff at the hotel. That is why you should always get checked immediately at the hospital with any head injury. I am not sure if they could have saved her even with an air ambulance. There was talk that the area needs to get air ambulance service - this highlighted that need. Intriguing and shocking regarding Bob Saget. Totally unexpected. You are right, those doctors went out of their way to comment and imply foul play. Normally they avoid that. Must be very compelling. Also sounds like the local medical examiner missed the OBVIOUS. How could that be?

I'm sorry but there was something always inauthentic and off about Julia Haart's story to me on Netflix. The show honestly started to make me uncomfortable at towards the end. Something just seemed... off, wrong and very alarming. Her daughter just got a divorce too, they very clearly didn't like her son-in-law because he still had some ties to their religion. Furthermore, I thought it was extremely telling of her to claim how oppressed she was in her community only to come back there and flaunt her wealth in a mini dress and 8 inch heels. No one gave her a dirty look, seems like no one paid her any attention TBH. Yet she claimed this is the same place she was ostracized? What's more likely to me is she simply wasn't in the faith at all which is fine, she either had an affair with the rich guy or met him shortly after her divorce then rode his coat tails all the way to the bank. She presented herself as this self-made, amazing, survivor woman who became a millionaire overnight... when in reality, she married a millionaire. As I said, something about her story doesn't check out and the relationship she had with her youngest son essentially trying to get him to not be religious is borderline abusive. Just like no one could choose her faith for her, she also cannot choose for her child how he wants to live his life if it doesn't align with her world views. I started off the season being intrigued by her story and ended the season absolutely cringing, feeling uncomfortable and realizing this woman is no better and quite possibly much worse than the people who "oppressed" her. To know the pain of being forced into something against your will to "fit in" I don't see how she doesn't draw the parallels to her treatment of her young son in his most formative years. I'm not the least bit surprised that her true behavior is coming to light, as I said the presentation of herself was clearly so scripted and polished.

Then LaPerla was impressed enough with her that they made her a top executive. THEN she met the CEO/owner of Elite World, fell in love and married him. To be fair.
@@ljmac22 Is that true though? or is that just part of the story? LaPerla was the brand her new (now ex) husband owned? To me, it seems far more likely that she was already dating him, started the shoe line with his financial support and then it was picked up by LaPerla very shortly after it's conception. I'm just speculating, but it seems to me that she was entwined with her new (now ex) husband when the shoeline was in it's first conception stages. I know people who have escaped abusive situations including religious ones, I've also watched a lot of documentaries about people escaping from extremist Jewish communities. Her story is such an outlier, most of these women have little to nothing financially and need a network of support and financial help from other survivors when they first leave due to having no provable/marketable skills, no access to education even a HS or primary school education and overall living an insanely sheltered life that does not parellel reality to most other people. I watched many of these, which is probably why I found her show intriguing at first. These survivors (especially women, mothers with multiple young children like she was) need a lot of help even getting a simple office job which the network of survivors helps them to do, they receive both governmental financial assistance (and are helped applying for financial resources) and also get support from the network of survivors regardless of what religion they escaped from. They usually don't "escape" and make a shoeline and become multi-millionaires over the course of less than a couple years. If her new (not future ex) husband wasn't the actual OWNER of LaPerla I wouldn't be raising an eyebrow. To me, it's so very clearly she was already romantically involved with this man and he threw her a bone. No shame in that, just be authentic and honest. My friend married a multi-millionaire several years back after coming from humble beginnings, she now owns a small shop in her town because she always worked and had a passion for homemade items such as candles and potpourri that she creates. She is very upfront that the success of her business and the fact she even owns a location as a store front and that she also has ~15 employees that either work in production or sales is due to her husband helping her. She was making candles ever since we were in high school, they were always amazing quality yet before her marriage the best her "small side hustle" was doing was selling at farmers markets and expos. She knows the struggle of owning a small business before being "thrown a bone" and knows the perks that being thrown said bone has. Would she ever be able to make the sort of investment to get professional equipment, licenses, extra workers to produce the items and salespeople? No. She also fully admits there are months when her business doesn't sell as much as they should, but that her husband will cover the bills regardless and the following months earnings can be much better. However, if she didn't have that financial safety net and did not make enough for materials, commerical rent costs, labor costs that particular month without a safety net, she would not have the ability to keep her business running. Julia's story is not representative of any religious abuse survivors escape story, my belief is that the reason is that her story is missing a lot of details. I don't understand why she would feel the need to lie about her husbands hand in her success and try to portray this as authentic. Something is off about her besides all of this and I really don't care if her husband helped her (literally at all), but her story doesn't add up and it's not just about LaPerla, it's about everything. Sorry for the essay.
I completely agree. The way she treated her daughter too because the daughter and son in law still had religious beliefs was awful. She was so disrespectful to them. She treated the son in law like a POS the same way she said she was treated in the orthodox community.
Heather I 100% agree on the nail comment for little girls. My daughter is in 5th grade, and has asked me. But I have told her no, she is to young for that!
Retired 5th teacher__ one week many of the girls wore makeup, but would wash their faces right before dismissal, lol. The girls were always very helpful to me in grading papers, etc. I only had one son, so they were like daughters. Kids stay off social media as long as possible!🤐💫

The neurologist said that both the caffeine and taurine in energy drinks, especially if consumed on an empty stomach, can cause people to faint or have seizures. Just something to note.

Whatever the reason the family has chosen not to disclose his cause of death to the public, I think it is a really bad idea. Listening to you and Chris speculate and throw accusations around is exactly what other people are going to do. Pretty soon it’s going to be like this awful game of telephone where there’s going to be a lot of confusion a lot of rumors going around and I think it’s only going to disparage his memory. As unfortunate as a whole situation is, the family and his memory would be much better off if they just disclosed everything

When I go back to listen to old Juicy Scoops just to put something fun on to entertain me while I'm cleaning I always pick ones with you & Chris because the chemistry is so good. Unlike "Marry Me", which is basically a DryBar movie I think? There's a million of them, which we used to buy on DVD. These mediocre 2003 movies. But she's back with Ben, and back to promoting these non-comedy, non-drama "romantic" movies with no real sex. Basically they feel like hearing the plot outline of a movie in terms of set-up, then obstacle, then resolution logistics, but they forgot to come back through and add the emotion or the compelling intimacy or the jokes or whatever.
I was a nurse for forty years. If someone has a head injury, especially a severe one, that person may not remember what just happened, and they may not be coherent enough to know to get help. If you witness someone have a head trauma, get help, don’t take “no” for an answer. They will need imaging and close monitoring for a slow (or fast) bleed.
Yes. It happened to me. My daughter called 911 immediately. I never lost consciousness and continued talking. I was very determined to stay awake and focus on those around me. I was ok but it took about two months to really feel like myself. Never take your health for granted.

I just realized WHY I love this so much!! It's like having a cute lunch!! (BTW- do you have super cute merch that says that?) Sitting with some gf's and having a chat, a glass of wine and a yummy lunch (for me this is a lettuce free salad or cheese plate) and just chatting about the latest not political , not polarizing, not gossip about friends news! PLUS I used to think that a network should snap you up... but, no... they would F up the show, you would lose control and the set should never get much bigger really (you still need the flowers) because you would loose that intimacy. You could do it every once in a while from a fab location like a Malibu place or something but you need to be close to the person. I also like the lighting. Lighting is so key. So good. Just love it. I’m always shocked when I hear or see grade school age girls getting fake nails, hair highlights, and now lashes! 🙄 I remember the fun times my friends and had painting each other’s nails at a sleepover. And our “highlights” came from a bottle of Sun-In spray in the Summer. On my 16th bday, after I got my drivers license, my mom took me to get my nails done-but just nailpolish-no fake nails! I slipped and hit my head on the bathroom floor when I was 6. I had a subdural hematoma. I immediately went to sleep. During the night my pupils started dilating and I started throwing up. My parents took me right in to the ER and they put me straight into surgery to remove the blood that was causing my brain to swell between my brain and skull. I had a friend get in a car accident and he went home and fell asleep and never woke up. He had a concision. I think if u fall asleep you may not be showing the symptoms but when I had it I started throwing up my body was displaying it and it gave my parents the signal to help me. If it was bad enough maybe he died before his body could show symptoms. It’s weird.

You are SO spot.on with young girls growing up too quickly. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. None got a phone before 16, Both girls wanted a belly button piercing way before 18 and I wouldn’t allow it, the one thanks me to this day and she’s 31 the other one is 22 and she got one when she turned 18 but that’s fine. Neither were allowed to get the Nails or highlights or extensions or any of that stuff until they were old enough to pay for it themselves, at the age of 18. We need to allow kids to be kids, even if they don’t want to be.

I doubt anyone will see my comment but I wanted to say that when the news first broke about Sagat, I went searching for as much info as I could find. One of the articles I read talked about the hotel's 911 call and how odd the person who called sounded. Like it wasn't a big deal? It's stuff like this that sticks with me and makes me have doubts about the official story.
Re Liam Neeson’s wife ‘s tragic death. The problem wasn’t with it being a sub par hospital. The problem was it was a long winding ambulance ride from the ski lodge to a hospital. No air ambulance . She thought she was ok, and turned down an ambulance. Within in an hour she had lost her cognitive abilities and consciousness according to staff at the hotel. That is why you should always get checked immediately at the hospital with any head injury. I am not sure if they could have saved her even with an air ambulance. There was talk that the area needs to get air ambulance service - this highlighted that need.

I'm sorry but there was something always inauthentic and off about Julia Haart's story to me on Netflix. The show honestly started to make me uncomfortable at towards the end. Something just seemed... off, wrong and very alarming. Her daughter just got a divorce too, they very clearly didn't like her son-in-law because he still had some ties to their religion. Furthermore, I thought it was extremely telling of her to claim how oppressed she was in her community only to come back there and flaunt her wealth in a mini dress and 8 inch heels. No one gave her a dirty look, seems like no one paid her any attention TBH. Yet she claimed this is the same place she was ostracized? What's more likely to me is she simply wasn't in the faith at all which is fine, she either had an affair with the rich guy or met him shortly after her divorce then rode his coat tails all the way to the bank. She presented herself as this self-made, amazing, survivor woman who became a millionaire overnight... when in reality, she married a millionaire. As I said, something about her story doesn't check out and the relationship she had with her youngest son essentially trying to get him to not be religious is borderline abusive. Just like no one could choose her faith for her, she also cannot choose for her child how he wants to live his life if it doesn't align with her world views. I started off the season being intrigued by her story and ended the season absolutely cringing, feeling uncomfortable and realizing this woman is no better and quite possibly much worse than the people who "oppressed" her. To know the pain of being forced into something against your will to "fit in" I don't see how she doesn't draw the parallels to her treatment of her young son in his most formative years. I'm not the least bit surprised that her true behavior is coming to light, as I said the presentation of herself was clearly so scripted and polished.

Ironic that her entire bootleg storyline is based off her living a life of authenticity- she is easily top 5 most i authentic people I’ve ever watched in any show or interview. Unfortunately I feel the same about her daughters too, seems like such an fraudulent facade they put on. (I don’t mean in terms of their relationship with Judaism, of course they’re not embellishing that) but like idk their whole life is weird
I felt the same to an extent. But she did start her own shoe line out of nothing-which became successful enough that La Perla wanted to collaborate. Then LaPerla was impressed enough with her that they made her a top executive. THEN she met the CEO/owner of Elite World, fell in love and married him. To be fair.

To me, it seems far more likely that she was already dating him, started the shoe line with his financial support and then it was picked up by LaPerla very shortly after it's conception. I'm just speculating, but it seems to me that she was entwined with her new (now ex) husband when the shoeline was in it's first conception stages. I know people who have escaped abusive situations including religious ones, I've also watched a lot of documentaries about people escaping from extremist Jewish communities. Her story is such an outlier, most of these women have little to nothing financially and need a network of support and financial help from other survivors when they first leave due to having no provable/marketable skills, no access to education even a HS or primary school education and overall living an insanely sheltered life that does not parellel reality to most other people. I watched many of these, which is probably why I found her show intriguing at first. These survivors (especially women, mothers with multiple young children like she was) need a lot of help even getting a simple office job which the network of survivors helps them to do, they receive both governmental financial assistance (and are helped applying for financial resources) and also get support from the network of survivors regardless of what religion they escaped from. They usually don't "escape" and make a shoeline and become multi-millionaires over the course of less than a couple years. If her new (not future ex) husband wasn't the actual OWNER of LaPerla I wouldn't be raising an eyebrow. To me, it's so very clearly she was already romantically involved with this man and he threw her a bone. No shame in that, just be authentic and honest. My friend married a multi-millionaire several years back after coming from humble beginnings, she now owns a small shop in her town because she always worked and had a passion for homemade items such as candles and potpourri that she creates. She is very upfront that the success of her business and the fact she even owns a location as a store front and that she also has ~15 employees that either work in production or sales is due to her husband helping her. She was making candles ever since we were in high school, they were always amazing quality yet before her marriage the best her "small side hustle" was doing was selling at farmers markets and expos. She knows the struggle of owning a small business before being "thrown a bone" and knows the perks that being thrown said bone has. Would she ever be able to make the sort of investment to get professional equipment, licenses, extra workers to produce the items and salespeople? No. She also fully admits there are months when her business doesn't sell as much as they should, but that her husband will cover the bills regardless and the following months earnings can be much better. However, if she didn't have that financial safety net and did not make enough for materials, commerical rent costs, labor costs that particular month without a safety net, she would not have the ability to keep her business running. Julia's story is not representative of any religious abuse survivors escape story, my belief is that the reason is that her story is missing a lot of details. I don't understand why she would feel the need to lie about her husbands hand in her success and try to portray this as authentic. Something is off about her besides all of this and I really don't care if her husband helped her (literally at all), but her story doesn't add up and it's not just about LaPerla, it's about everything. Sorry for the essay.
I completely agree. The way she treated her daughter too because the daughter and son in law still had religious beliefs was awful. She was so disrespectful to them. She treated the son in law like a POS the same way she said she was treated in the orthodox community.

Retired 5th teacher__ one week many of the girls wore makeup, but would wash their faces right before dismissal, lol. The girls were always very helpful to me in grading papers, etc. I only had one son, so they were like daughters. Kids stay off social media as long as possible!🤐💫

The neurologist said that both the caffeine and taurine in energy drinks, especially if consumed on an empty stomach, can cause people to faint or have seizures. Just something to note.

Whatever the reason the family has chosen not to disclose his cause of death to the public, I think it is a really bad idea. Listening to you and Chris speculate and throw accusations around is exactly what other people are going to do. I was a nurse for forty years. If someone has a head injury, especially a severe one, that person may not remember what just happened, and they may not be coherent enough to know to get help. If you witness someone have a head trauma, get help, don’t take “no” for an answer. They will need imaging and close monitoring for a slow (or fast) bleed.
Yes. It happened to me. My daughter called 911 immediately. I never lost consciousness and continued talking. I was very determined to stay awake and focus on those around me. I was ok but it took about two months to really feel like myself. Never take your health for granted.

I just realized WHY I love this so much!! It's like having a cute lunch!! (BTW- do you have super cute merch that says that?) Sitting with some gf's and having a chat, a glass of wine and a yummy lunch (for me this is a lettuce free salad or cheese plate) and just chatting about the latest not political , not polarizing, not gossip about friends news! PLUS I used to think that a network should snap you up... but, no... they would F up the show, you would lose control and the set should never get much bigger really (you still need the flowers) because you would loose that intimacy. You could do it every once in a while from a fab location like a Malibu place or something but you need to be close to the person. I also like the lighting. Lighting is so key. So good. Just love it. I'm always so happy when I get to see or hear this 🥰

The head trauma being front & back is concerning. He could have been assaulted, got away, & was near his hotel. He may have just wanted to rest especially if dizzy & disoriented.
He could have slipped in the bathroom and his legs flipped up, making his head go down harder than when someone faints and falls. The back of his head could have hit really hard on a hard edge. It was just one doc, not involved, who made the baseball bat analogy.

I’m not fully believing the story either. Bob Saget’s image needs to be protected because of the “Full House” legacy. His raunchy stand-up specials or his party habits are not the real bread and butter for his estate. Plus this happened to one of America’s favorite dads after Cosby and so soon after Betty White. No one wanted to put out a negative story.

I slipped and hit my head on the bathroom floor when I was 6. I had a subdural hematoma. I immediately went to sleep. During the night my pupils started dilating and I started throwing up. My parents took me right in to the ER and they put me straight into surgery to remove the blood that was causing my brain to swell between my brain and skull. I had a friend get in a car accident and he went home and fell asleep and never woke up. He had a concision. I think if u fall asleep you may not be showing the symptoms but when I had it I started throwing up my body was displaying it and it gave my parents the signal to help me. If it was bad enough maybe he died before his body could show symptoms. It’s weird.
