I have never heard 4 men/friends appear so vulnerable and HAPPY to share their internal growth and personal enlightenment for the world to see! Bradley! You are the most open, clear thinking, kind, sharing, grateful for your life man I have ever heard in any interview. Ever. I love that you all forgot that you were doing the podcast.
Honestly... it was horrible. Just felt like they couldn't steer the conversation to anything interesting so they just went along the path of least resistance.
Hey guys, I’m Jeff Watson, guitarist of the band Night Ranger (which makes me old..) but, I wanted you to know how great it is to put your conversations on in the background as I practice my guitar to metronome. (daily..) It reminds me of the collaboration and mutual support amongst all of us once famous and constantly touring musicians. It’s just the nature of the business to eventually meet everyone, even your musical heroes, and the past times and stories feel so good to converse about in rose colored memory. Anyway, that’s what I feel when I listen to you three, plus I learn stuff. My next door neighbor here in Mill Valley is a film director, and he even put me in his movie Enchanted, so I got a very abrupt lesson in just how dang difficult it is to do what you all do. Respect. Jeff Watson

this is the most personal conversation ever. Towards the end, Will mentions he kept forgetting they were even doing the podcast and it shows. Truly just felt like I was eavesdropping on a conversation amongst friends.
To listen to four men that I love and respect as actors and comedians and human beings and hearing that Bradley Cooper has a therapist, Will having a hard conversation, Sean saying he loved himself the minute he got out the womb …. I am laughing, crying, and respecting all of you so much more. When listening to you on talk shows or interviews, all of you exude confidence … you’re actors, you’re human. LOVE this podcast. ❤️😘🇨🇦 Colleen
Broken people save broken people. We are all broken people. It can be caused by an unexpected rejection, a word from a close love one that tore our insides, not receiving love, our feelings not being acknowledged. Many carry those wounds into our adult lives and some don't even recover from it. We question ourselves why we are the way we are. We are walking with wounded hearts and some will take anything to numb the pain. Is not easy facing that pain, but when we do, the freedom from it is undescribable. It doesn't have power over us. We can surely move forward with our lives and relationships.
Will truly helped Bradley onto a better path in life by not bullshitting him, and telling him that he was an asshole. We ALL need a friend like Will Arnett. Happy 100th episode!! Much love and respect from Texas!! ❤
So many comments start with "Wow", and rightfully so. I didn't expect to be sitting here with tears running down my face liking these 4 guys more than I did an hour ago. What a treat to have seen this. Thanks UA-cam for auto playing this for me. Do it for every one!
I really admire Cooper's authenticity and vulnerability man. It was super refreshing to hear him share a watershed moment with him and Arnett. Really relatable and just made me like the guy. Such a great episode of such a great podcast.
What I love most about your podcast is the friendship you share. This one with the Bradley Cooper brought me to tears in between plenty of good laughs. The emotional bravery you share is what the world needs. Each episode is a bit of a workshop for boys and young men to witness three handsome, hilarious and famous guys sorting and swirling through life in and between stretches of outrageous grief slinging. I appreciate the vulnerability you all shared with Bradley Cooper. The 100th ep mix was beautiful! I will do my best to boss our sons, their friends and other young men into listening to Smartless, starting with this one. I have been on an extra binge of SMARTLESS before I see Sean in Good Night, Oscar in a couple weeks. You fellas make me laugh with such gusto. I may be the only one with his comment, but I actually like to just hear these guys talking. I don’t need to see the video. I love the emotion in their voices. I love the cross talk. I love the intimate moments where they talk about their children. I watched the SmartLess tour and it was great. But there’s something about just hearing the sound of peoples voices that creates a different level of emotion for the listener. Again, I may be the only one commenting on this this way.

Hey guys, my sister and I have just filmed our 10th episode of our new podcast. Please let me know if any of you would be willing to gift us a few minutes of your time to help our new, little company with your feedback. Thanks guys, great show!! ❤️❤️
I'm confused as to why Bradley thought that actress was being mean. It sounds like she was saying he deserved the nomination for A Star Is Born. How is that an insult?
I’m a new subscriber, do you all film on another platform or just audio, really enjoy listening. Puts a different perspective on you guys as actors, listening to real conversations, thanks
I was on a hike and forgot my headphones, so music wasn't an option. I figured I'd listen to this podcast with my phone in my pocket instead. I'm so glad I did, other than laughing out loud like an idiot during the first golf story. "These people should KILL themselves? It's a WEDNESDAY....take your foot of the gas for a minute." You know it's a genuine conversation when three really hilarious people don't make a single joke for a long stretch of time. It is a real a conversation between a bunch of interesting people. As much as I love the humor that's normally sprinkled through out (and rightly so), the topics they were hitting warranted some real attention and not just a surface treatment. I don't know of many shows that would be brave enough to do this. The best podcasts make you feel like you're on a fly on the wall in a room with interesting, organic conversations. This was fantastic. Sean did a great thing by pointing out how powerful it is to have an A-list celebrity being honest about their personal struggles. For a bunch of guys who are hilarious, and often rely on being hilarious as a conversational go-to, it was amazing to watch them drop all of it and dive into such a serious topic. I give them a lot of credit for not hedging their bets and injecting constant dark humor (which would've been completely understandable) to "keep the audience engaged." Kudos for letting the content just stand alone. Lastly, a shoutout to Sean for asking clarifying questions when some of the descriptions were a little ambiguous. Nearly every time he interjected, I found myself thinking, "good question, that's helpful." What an amazing interview.
I wonder what Bradley cooper’s thoughts or feeling about Chris Rock’s joke. Speaking on his comments about mean humor he was using and if it compared to that.

I don't know why, but I want movie with Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler.
Although I have been entertained by everyone involved in this podcast over the years it often reminds me of SCTV's The Sammy Maudlin Show.
Congratulations 🎊
Hey guys, my sister and I have just filmed our 10th episode of our new podcast. Please let me know if any of you would be willing to gift us a few minutes of your time to help our new, little company with your feedback. Thanks guys, great show!! ❤️❤️
I'm confused as to why Bradley thought that actress was being mean. It sounds like she was saying he deserved the nomination for A Star Is Born. How is that an insult?
saying he deserves the nom but not a win
This episode was the absolute best!!! I adore every single one of them!💜💜Happy 💯!!! Jason! You will always be my crush.💜
Jason has also been my crush for many, many years! He only gets better with age. ❤
Thanks Erika

Where are you watching from?
@@saramarie516 Thanks Sara
I’m a new subscriber, do you all film on another platform or just audio, really enjoy listening. Puts a different perspective on you guys as actors, listening to real conversations, thanks
I was on a hike and forgot my headphones, so music wasn't an option. I figured I'd listen to this podcast with my phone in my pocket instead. I'm so glad I did, other than laughing out loud like an idiot during the first golf story. "These people should KILL themselves? It's a WEDNESDAY....take your foot of the gas for a minute."
You know it's a genuine conversation when three really hilarious people don't make a single joke for a long stretch of time.
Nearly every time he interjected, I found myself thinking, "good question, that's helpful."
What an amazing interview.
I wonder what Bradley cooper’s thoughts or feeling about Chris Rock’s joke. Speaking on his comments about mean humor he was using and if it compared to that.
