I’ve been a fan of Britney ever since she came out. The recording made me sick. She brought so much joy to so many and to hear about her isolation, imprisonment and torture kills me. She lost so much of her life and I don’t know how any real justice can be done to truly make her feel whole and at peace. She needs to share her whole truth in an organized way so everyone truly hears it
I think Britney chose to not sell out to Oprah or anyone else so that she wants to say it in her words, no interruptions, no misinterpretation, no representation, just pure her. Seriously those 22 minutes she spoke yesterday blew my mind. I hope she finds peace and the world starts to be kinder to her

The Britney audio broke my heart. It seems almost an arrested development and she is essentially a 40 year old woman who is emotionally stuck in 20s playing catch-up for past 15 years within a short span of time. It’s an experience that is fortunately not relatable to most.

So true, and it was done by her own father who used her as a cash cow. It is clear she is traumatised, I just hope she finds peace.
Of course she has arrested development. She has no education, was locked up in a consevatorship for years, was kept away from people and information, limited internet access. She's basically been in a bubble since the Mickey Mouse Club. I wish her nothing but the best, and hopefully her husband gives her time and space to grow

@@aguyinhisroom it is a cult, and the attack anyone that's not in it. It's crazy. For my birthday this year my boyfriend bought me a brand new Apple phone. At first I was really excited. But I kept going back to my old Samsung and then eventually I allowed him to take it back which was a huge relief for him because it was very expensive. Lol. It was just too difficult to figure out and the camera's ability was so limited. It sucked I thought. And now I'm back to Samsung and I feel very comfortable and I love my phone.

Long-time listener. However, I have to say that observing Chris' reaction as Heather went on and on about the food they needed for the Duran Duran concert speaks volumes. I could see how Heather could be draining at times, since she was oblivious -- or just didn't care, perhaps -- about the affect she was having. Had a friend like this. Would make the simplest get together so more complicated. With you Chris: Can't you just show up and go with the flow?

It’s double-edged sword. Had she not had child stardom, she wouldn’t have the fans, money and lifestyle she has now. But, many of these Disney and Nickelodeon girls/boys have grown up to have serious mental health issues. Something happened.
Brooke Shields mother allowed her daughter to be horribly exploited, but Brooke says that her mother was onset every single day with her, to make sure nothing happened to her. Maybe that’s the difference.
And it was all the people she trusted most, such deep betrayal!

The people who brought you into this world, doing what they did to Britney, it is criminal, she must have such trust issues, confusion and rage. So sorry for what has happened to her in this day and age. Love Heather and Chris together. Another hilarious episode with you two! I feel like whatever happens the night of the hollywood concert could be made into its own feature film lol. I'm glad you recapped Britney's audio. Heather, make sure to go back and listen to all of it. She told a judge the next closest thing in the state of California that she can compare what her family did to her is human trafficking. I'm worried there is more her dad made her do using her visitations with her kids as leverage over her. We may never know, but I hope she is healing and has good hearted people around her now.

Britney went through 15 years of hell. There is going to be a lot of talking and healing. Her family had over a decade to say whatever they wanted, when they wanted. It’s her turn. We as a society need to have more compassion than we did in the early 2000’s.
I really like Brittany but for her sake I hope she can move on. People have gone through much worse and have been able to move on with their lives. Brittany doesn't know how strong she is.
@@kathrynoneill5862 I guess everybody has their own way of classifying and dealing with trauma in their life. But what she went through, at least the parts that we know of, are extremely horrible and would leave anyone scarred and traumatized. With some of the things we have heard, the only thing I could think of that would be worse is death. And honestly to me death would have been better than being trapped in that for the rest of my life.
I never had an IPhone either. Never wanted one. I'm sitting here very happy with my Samsung Galaxy S22. The camera is so good I hardly ever use my SLR camera anymore

The reason why she didn't do a interview she did say. She said that it wasn't a sit down interview that she wanted, what that means was she didn't want any questions asked in a interview environment. This was why she specifically said a proper sit down interview, she wanted no questions coming at her!

Absolutely. She’s probably sick of having people ask her questions and analyze her. It seems like she was forced to go through hours and hours and days and years of endless testing most likely by hacks paid off by her monster father to get the results he needed to keep her locked in his prison of torture! The Britney interview was tough to listen to. I feel really terrible for her. I think she just wanted people to know what she went through, and that it completely changed her. I also think Federline releasing private moments with her kids had to be really triggering for her. I actually don’t think she was out of line in the videos. Can you imagine trying to parent teenagers while not having any authority over your own life, much less theirs? I can’t barely get my 7 yr old to listen to me. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been on her? How do you set rules for your kids to follow if you aren’t allowed to make decisions for yourself much less them? She just wanted to be a normal mom, but she had to get permission for everything she and her kids did. She was only asking her boys to treat her with respect.
32:21 she said she started to feel like herself and got some confidence back, also tried to demand stuff when she started recording her album Glory (she was more involved, participant, lively around that time), then when she started voicing her opinion throughout the album promotion (2016) while transitioning to a new residency (2018), where in the rehearsals process she demanded changes in the new show, etc. She was rebelling, probably didn't want to really work and angered the whole team, that's when she was sent to the abusive rehab facility in secret at the time, then her team made the post on her Instagram saying that her father was sick and that she was cancelling the residency bc of that... that's when fans started suspecting shit and everything started with the #FreeBritney movement.
She's being very accurate in everything she has said so far.

Elton John was actually singing that song at a well-known beach restaurant in Cannes surrounded by other celebrities as he did last year at the same location. It was a very impromptu moment so that's why things looked disorganized around him.
Elton has a magnificent property on Mont Boron in Nice and is a local fixture here every summer and invites a lot of his other famous friends.

I wish you guys could dish more about what happened on Chelsea Lately! I was a huge fan of the show and it's interesting who remained close on each side. In listening to her podcase, it seems like Chelsea is a lot more positive these days and has done a lot of work on herself. She did seem pretty toxic back in the day though.

Heather, please check out the UA-cam channel That Surprise Witness or BJ Investigates. She is an attorney who has done some serious work regarding Britney and how LuAnn Taylor manipulated that whole situation with the help of Britney’s family. She is currently also talking about the conservatorship for Bam Magera and a woman named Lima who runs some kind of rehab place. She tries to become a conservator who basically takes control over people’s rights and one girl, Amanda actually died last year in her care. VERY interesting stuff but crazy.
