    worse. Is it the spaces giving the bad ride cause new geometry? or the
    Tires they put on? or both.

      Just looking at that upper ball joint on the control arm when he tightened everything back up made me cringe seeing how steep an angle it at now. I'm changing my mind on doing this. I dnt much care for the factory rake myself, but I'd rather have my truck working properly for longer than risk folding a tire or some shit over 2.5 inches in the front.

      I watched 5 separate videos and they were all different. I just did mine last week and there's more steps than I expected, luckily I have the tools. Alignment is a must, this changes your tow settings which will cause your tires to wear quicker. For instance mine are now tow +

    • @KNR90

      It would be very close, as thats hardly any weight. If you put 150+ lbs in the back it will have a slight backwards rake but not really noticeable.

    • @KNR90
      @KNR90 4 роки тому

      Not all trim levels come with 33" and it varies a bit by year. Some are 31". I think what they intended was the next size up.

    • @stgraves260

      I’ve owned a 2004, 2010, 2012, 2015 all ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 Hemi’s. The tire size is 275/60R20. That is 32.99” tall by 10.83” wide. If you got the off road package you could get the 275/70R17 that converts to 32.2x10.8R17. The actual size of a 33x12.50 on a 15” wheel is 32.5 Tall by 12.5” wide. You can use that for comparison.

    If 2" spacer levels my Ram perfectly then why buy 2.5"?

    • @FirehouseTats
      @FirehouseTats 5 років тому +1

      If you're sure 2" will do it, they you wouldn't go with 2.5 unless you also wanted to lift up the rear a little to match it. But you should be careful when deciding what size to buy. You should take some measurements and realize that the ground your truck is parked on can affect those measurements. Ideally, a perfectly level surface is what you should park on before you measure height. But most of us aren't fortunate enough to have access to a perfectly level parking space. So you have to make an educated guess at what is going to work best. Take meaurements at all four wheels from the ground to the bottom of the fender well, write em down. Then measure from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender well at all four wheels and write those down. Compare the differences and consider taking the average as the "proper" size spacer to level your truck. That's what I did, and it came out to be 2.5". Mine looks nice and level to me. Sorry, no photos to show. Hope this helps some of you out there.

    • @robbiemiller2334
      @robbiemiller2334 5 років тому

      Simply because there are multiple variables that change your rake. For instance when I put on a 34" tire it actually changed my rake a half inch. This is why you measure before. I actually run the 3" spacer. Looks really good
