The colors of the palette are so pretty and I’m into it but I just hate that it looks like a $50 morphe palette - for that price I would’ve loved to have seen a different layout or even a mirror or something to make it feel more luxe especially considering she’s known for her collabs I feel like it would’ve been great to come out with something a bit different packaging wise
I LOVE this palette I snatched it up asap from Ulta. I am definitely in the mature zone and I appreciate Robin’s input, I will in fact use every single color in it. Honestly I “needed” an eyeshadow palette like a hole in my head, but what the heck my husband was out of town so he did not witness the delivery. 🤣
I noticed from the comments people wish there was a mirror. Keep in mind Robin is mature as I am, well at this stage of life a regular mirror is useless. Robin probably said, “heck no to the mirror I have to use my microscope 🔬 to see . . .”🤣

Really enjoying the eye shadow palette as well, I love color, but have been looking for a just everyday eye shadow palette and this hit the nail on the head! It's a beautiful palette. I love greens, and loving seeing grey in a palette. Her mom was right. This is the perfect palette for someone without a large collection or a teen/young adult, just starting out. Perfect neutrals, both warm and cool, with pops of color that aren't intimidating and very wearable.
I never, ever thought I would be sat here, thinking about getting a JH palette! Who am I? 😂😂 Seriously though, I like the colour story, it has a gentle grungyness about it and I'm here for it. This Eyeshadow Palette is beautiful. it applies much better on eyes then it looks. I bought this and applied it first time today and love it the look. I recently had bought Natasha D's spring pallette also. after i bought this i will be returning ND's. I am 48 this i will be using more. I just need to quit buying Eyeshadow's palletts.

Love the green- the colors are my think for sure but typically only buy high end because the are more satiny typically and like you said, the mature skin thing. As far as shadow formula, can you throw a few brands out there you would compare this to? If the power is too dry it just doesn’t work for me. My go to brands are Dior, Suqqu, Viseart, Natasha Denona, Byredo and Tom Ford -

How do you use those no dent hair clips without your hair getting stuck at the very top where the rubber stuff meets the metal? I got some and ripped out hair every single time so idk if it's the brand or y hair or just how they are

My left eye never blends as well as the right and it drives me insane! I have no idea why lol. I think it might be a combo of the angle I hold the brush from one eye to the other and the shape of my eye. But who knows 🤷🏻♀️
It’s pretty. It reminds me of the Laura Lee violet Voss palette but less metallics. I used that palette up! It was worth every penny . Edit: it also kinda has the same vibe as abh Mario palette 👍

Looks like a typical Morphe palette. They even used the old Morphe palette package for the eyeshadows. They look muddy. Like expired shadows from the Boss Mood M35 palette. No problem passing g this one up. No problem at all.

Hearing a mature skin-friendly palette gets my fur up just a bit ! This palette is dull and boring in my opinion but now we hear it's good & mature skin friendly lol ! I say 15 or 50 or 150 lol wear what you like and looks good on you. Mature skin can wear a bolder or shimmer shadow but in a way that compliments more like an accent or liner. I promised myself as a Registered Nurse i wouldn't use certain words in certain situations with older people it is hurtful no matter how delicately it is phrased.
I think my mom wouldn’t like a palette with the face of someone else’s mom on it🥴🥴 really don’t know why she did that, I will go with the normal edition one if I was giving it to my mom

I've learned when I swatch I have to just use my pointer and middle fingers. My ring and pinky do not do them any justice, even with the best shadows.

Never swatched with the pinky because it doesn’t have enough dexterity to swatched evenly that why you were disappointed
