PARALLEL STRUCTURE
In today's lesson, Kevin teaches you how to use parallel structure.

DIRECTIONS: Read each sentence. If the sentence uses parallel structure correctly, write
“CORRECT.” If the sentence does not use parallel structure correctly, rewrite it so that it does.
1. Mary likes hiking, swimming, and biking.
2. Tom sang and dances yesterday.
3. Dave enjoys running, to cook, and painting.
4. My dog wags her tail, barks at people, and she chases squirrels.
5. Every morning, I cook and clean.
6. After practice, Luke was hungry, sore, and felt his thirst.
7. Lauren is funny, relaxed, mature, and cares a lot.
8. I want you to rake the leaves and mow the lawn.
9. Austin will swim two laps, run a mile, do ten jumping jacks, and took a shower.
10. The weather and culture of Sweden made Oliver want to live there permanently.
