I understand that Scientologists are convinced they are saving the world but what are the tangible results that keep them convinced of this? It can't just be lists of stats and such can it? How do the non-staff reconcile what they see with what they are being told?
I thought I remembered that you did floral arrangments and that room that's in your background was where you did that. Do you grow your own flowers? How did you get started and is that your job? The Scientology stuff is interesting but I'm a gardener so I really care about the flowers!

Question: can you tell about daily health? Things like colds, headaches, minor injuries, food, overall well-being physically, work while ill, reactions of other scientologists while ill, special diet while ill, sprains, what illnesses do people often get there. When I see scientologists in the videos they often look so unhealthy. Older scientologists seem to be completely miserable physically. Or is that only the sea org members? Those kind of things. ❤
My question for you is: I read in your book that at the age of 9 your post was medical and you gave out all the vitamins etc to all the kids at the ranch, did they just put you in that position or did they give you any type of training? As a nurse, I find it absolutely crazy that they made you as a child be responsible for something so serious….as a kid even if they trained you, it was still too much responsibility for you to have, but I was just curious.
What was a "small,normal"thing that you got to do after leaving scientology and brought you more joy than you expected? I can imagine how many big changes you had but for me that small little joys that I get to enjoy everyday are the most precious, is like that for you?

You are beautiful inside and out. are kind & and loving, but you are no one to be messed with. You talked one time about feeling that you had to do things perfectly, and I really related to that for a different reason because I have ADHD. I was diagnosed in my 40s but certain things I had a lot of trouble understanding and other times I could pick something up really easy. So I spent a lot of my life not trying or outright avoiding things that I wasn't sure I would be able to do easily or as close to perfect. And I think this is because I didn't want to give people anything to be able to hurt me with. Or to reinforce my own insecurities. But on the outside I never came off that way I came off confident. You helped me see that I was living in fear. I found something I love which is art customizing fashion dolls. I have all the supplies but I keep putting off practicing. So when you were talking about what you went through it help me just start learning without fear of making mistakes. Because of you I'm able to admit that out loud. You don't understand Jenna you give as much to us as you feel we give to you. Thank you I've been wanting to say this for so long❤ thank you
🙋♀️Hi! I also struggle with perfectionism. I’m challenging myself to very consciously and intentionally do some minor things imperfectly, and notice that the sky doesn’t fall. Now I make my bed imperfectly every day, and I’m experimenting with pottery (hand building, which is all about imperfections.) I’m feeling less anxious now when I do this type of thing, which is very good for my mental health 👍😊❤️💐
I have questions about your book: 1) Closer to the end of it when you & your husband decide to leave SeaOrg you refer to it as “leaving staff”. Do SeaOrg members refer to themselves as “staff” inside Scientology? 2) When you & your boyfriend / husband were separated by Scientology & you were trying to find him for days walking around all the buildings, why no one was trying to stop or isolate you? Where were you sleeping & eating during those days? Why they allowed you just go wherever you wanted to? 3) Do you know what happened to your first love & where he is now? You mentioned some good friendships you made and your first love interest. Are you in contact with any of your childhood friends, or are you aware of what happened to some of them?

QUESTION 1: Is the “hair on fire,” “ready, fire, aim” constant panic mode, inefficient, brute-force approach to everything…has that been getting worse recently, as far as you can tell? Or was it always like this in CoS? QUESTION 2: What does “friend” mean to a Scientologist? @Relatable Reese is just beginning to grasp the concept of unconditional love/acceptance and how to trust others. It saddens me to think how CoS destroys natural human relationships. QUESTION: I’m a little confused by this situation and am asking to see if you can add any clarity. Your brothers were split up and one went with each parent, “Parent Trap” style. In the real world this is not a real custody solution. Do you know why your mom agreed to this arrangement?
Question, given the difficult circumstances that Scientology was forced upon you & your family, how do you navigate relationships now with your parents & siblings. I’m sure family is very important and you provide the best you can for your children. I have tremendous respect for you. I too want too see your cookie recipe and I don’t enjoy baking 😂
I love this idea!! I would love to know more about the process you go through when you decide to leave. Anything from the moment that you start to question if scientology is legitimately right for you, to the time when you are sure you want out, to planning your exit, and getting acquainted with the vworld outside. It has a lot of similarities to what people go through leaving bad situations they feel stuck in, and I think learning more about your journey could be really helpful for others who are afraid to make a change in their life or don't know how. I have a question I’ve always wanted to know: I lived in LA for a long time and would pass by the CoS buildings on Hollywood Blvd. I would smell some strong chemical and got a weird vibe. What was that chemical smell? And do members know what a thetan is before they get to OT levels? If not what do they think OT means?
Since you grew up in a cult and didn’t spend much time with your parents do you find it difficult parenting your own children at times since you never had the example of a Mom and Dad parenting in day to day life? I hope this makes sense. Have a good walk.
