Thank you. Really enjoyed the footage from the drive. Have a trip planned to West Virginia and Pennsylvania in June , but next year this is on our list. Love the area. We’re a lot like y’all , except good bit older , in the places we enjoy seeing. Really enjoying your travels. Great job !
What an incredible road to drive. I would have never expected this from the simple title. I'm so glad your sharing this. Now I wanna go, and you still need to do that cookbook. And include a chapter on things to do inside on a cold wet day, like you did with the chicken stuff I bet that smelled so good while it was cooking. Burgers out there would have been the best ever. My goal is to make a drive like this and find a random spot and tent camp for a night
Very wise decision to turn around. There have been countless off-road recoveries out in that area due to Vehicles getting stuck from driving where the water used to be. Sadly, people have also been stranded because their GPS with lead them out into those areas.
Yep, I've heard the stories about folks sinking in the soft sand and mud. My cell service worked fine out there since we were so close to town so fortunately my phone gps was working good.
Well Adam, I hope you learned a lesson on this one. You should always bring a cooler and grill if you want to. At least that way you have both options. To grill or not to grill... LOL. Beautiful drive. Thanks.
To make those dirt road drives more comfortable deflate your tires. A rig that heavy I would go 22 on the front and 15 on the rear. Makes the ride nice! You do have a compressor? If not get one...a good one so you can air back up before hitting the pavement..
Obviously I can’t speak for them, but I have basically the same truck and trailer. We go on the road a few times a year with our camper. I couldn’t possibly be happier with mine. Thankfully I went with the diesel, it is my first ever diesel truck and I can say I will NEVER have another gas truck. The difference is incredible with regard to pulling power, braking (with exhaust braking) and the ability to fuel in the truck stop lanes which alone is worth the extra cost of the diesel not having to negotiate gas station lanes with a 30ft. camper.
Love it when you take us to these quiet places full of solitude and natural beauty.
Loved this one! Of course I really like following your travels and adventures.
Absolutely stunning drive!

Beautiful in it's starless, stunning. Watching an article about Colerado River and water issues.
Thank you for the Sunday morning drive to places I most likely will never get to see.
I'm so happy you were able to experience this. This is the reason we will never not own a 4x4 vehicle. I have a bunch of our off road videos posted.
way cool. thanks for taking us along for the ride. Next time hamburgers and cold beer for the win!

That's just awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I watch them all.

I don’t off road enough to know all the tricks of the trade. I do keep a portable air compressor in the camper.
cranky, you'd swear that a Gorn and Cap't Kirk were battling
relationship goals ryt there
Adam and Abby. Is the Ram truck living up to your expectations now that you have put some trips on it?

Abby: "It's so quiet out here". - - Yeah, just the sound of rocks rotting and falling to the ground --- every century or two
Beautiful country isn’t it. If you enjoy this type of adventure you need to check out the Cactus Hill you tube channel. Think you will like it.
