- Lake Powell at its lowest level in 14 years, uncovering more of the beautiful Glen Canyon.
Glen Canyon is a Canyon on Colorado River, considered one of the most beautiful canyons in the World before it was converted to lake Powell by building the Glen Canyon Dam. The Grand Canyon starts only several miles down the river.
In the video: Meditative boat trip along Lake Powell and its side canyons, with views from: above the lake from Page and from Hole in the Rock, Iceberg Canyon, Escalante River, Clear Creek Canyon, Reflection Canyon, Dangling Rope Marina, Forbidding Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Cathedral in the Desert, Lake Canyon, Bullfrog Marina, Reflection Canyon from the hiking trail viewpoint.
Recorded April 20-22 2019 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX700 and DJI Osmo Pocket (and couple of shots from October 2016 with Sony AX100).

I never have seen such a beautiful lake
Back in the 1980s I brought my small boat to Lake Powell from Montrose Colorado near Telluride and spent eight days contemplating life right here in the most beautiful place for peace and tranquility.
I’ve been hoping for a long time that you would do a video on this amazing place so thank you.
Thanks to the original Planet of the Apes movie, I now know about this amazing place. Someday I'll be there.
You should have seen it before it was flooded, that was real beauty, not a lifeless, stark place. It was built to enable Vegas and Phoenix to water their many golf courses !!

So many people were rightfully devastated when they decided to flood this ineffable place.
This lake happened the year I was born and I grew up going here every summer from LA. It is and always has been the most awe inspiring and connective place for my soul on this planet...HUGE shout out for those that captured my memories and incredible love for this place I call home to my soul....THANK YOU!

Absolutely breathtaking. I've never been to Lake Powell, but definitely want to go. I find the rich redness of the rocks so attractive and captivating. Two weeks ago, when driving from Arizona to Washington through Mesquite and St. George, we saw all that red richness in that canyon. Thank you for sharing this video of our beautiful beloved Earth. I went to Lake Powell when I was 12, it would have been 2004 or so. We spent a week on the lake in a houseboat. It was very surreal. Super fun. I still vividly remember it.

5:42 Nice views in Reflection with the water low enough that you had to go completely around the S-curves (19:18). I've never seen it low enough for that. Smooth water, no one else on the lake (8:00). Must have been winter (7:12). Nice photography! Geez I LOVE that place.

I live in Colorado. The USA is beautiful. Even after visiting over 30 countries I still think the USA has the most natural beauty packed into any single country.
polifatts It’s not packed. Very vast country. I’ve visited 47 states and Utah is my beloved state. Lake Powell is awesome but loses water.

10:08 The boat ride into the canyon of Rainbow Bridge is so amazing it will take your breath away, the sheer walls, the super deep water and then you see Rainbow Bridge, we were there one year 11:44 there was water all the way up to it. There is, or at least used to be a large tour boat that would go there.

Such high resolution picture quality. Overall great video. Also the amazing quality of the reflections of the mountains into the water was astounding, the water was so still and clear.
