I'm doing both in Melbourne, and UE pays way better than DD. I'd only do DD when I couldn't get any orders from UE or on my way back home. From my experience, there are only two situations that DD would pay more than $1/km. 1) the order is less than 5km, DD would pay about $5.50 base pay. 2) the order has been sitting there for quite a while. For all other orders without peak pay, DD would pay under $1 per km.
dd is rly bad in melbourne, I get at least $1.5/km every order in my zone in dd..
Always find your vids fun and informative as a newbie DD guy. Loving the gig while realising there's work I need to put in thinking about my approach to when and where and what to accept and what not to, to make it work for me. For me so far a happy journey of discovery as I love helping people out and getting to see parts of SC I haven't already (and be my own boss haha). Keep up your sterling work bruv!
For me ubereats and for dash pay around the same. I deliver in Sydney.
My last 8 late night delivers on ubereats (two were stacked):
Maccas: 2.1km for $9.21
Maccas: 2.3km $8.30
Maccas 6km for $15.37
Maccas 4.9km for $12.54
Flip Burgers: 2.8km for $14.31
Maccas 2.9km for $11.69
Although I did decline quite a few questionable offers like 30km for $15 something... yeah nah
I don’t see how this is seen as reasonable pay. The compensation for employees using their own car is 85c per kilometre and it’s tax free for the first 5000. They are paying not much more than
Welcome to the gig food delivery industry.
Well, lot of people do not have other option.
Once again another great video! Much love from North Carolina 🇺🇲
Thanks Christy!
Hey mate, I find door dash on the weekend during the day to have more offers. But Uber eats goes off during the night especially the weekend. I prefer Uber eats with questing as it’s worth almost doing every job to get that bonus money and Uber eats food is almost ready when you arrive
Come down here. DD and UE usually $5 to $7. And wait till usually 5 to 10 minutes.
Ubereats is number 1 for me. Even they offer bad trip but actually you can make more by reimbursement
Menulog seems yo pay best without quest but cant work when want and sonetimes orders have long waits
You get paid to wait
@rebeccaprivilege4567 not enough
No, haven't seen that yet
Grubhub beats them all. If you're on Blocks
You're gonna Rock
Uoob / dash is the greatest way to lose weight.
Really low pay no matter Doordash or Uber eats, try Menulog, better pay but need to schedule, Doordash and uber eats are both jokes
I have a menulog account I need to start delivering for them too. The scheduling so far ahead is annoying though. Plus uber eats and doordash aren't that bad. And with uber eats you can cash out when you need money for petrol food or bill and can't wait until the end of the week to get paid. It's good to have all 3.
Hello what is average hourly earning in menulog?
I tried menulog but it said it was specific to Adelaide only..?
