This is the only reason I used either Linux or Mac so that ads don’t get into my workflow. Also, I love Bricks builder because it is clean and fast.
It's 100% annoying and bad for developers. Imagine charging a client thousands to develop a site and then your client sees these ads telling them how easy it is to build a site using AI.
Oh, so you get popups for upsell after you say no to the original popup and close the one in WP, and every time you change an image for example you are being sold the image optimiser? Doesn't happen to me -- maybe we are using different versions, or maybe I have a different setting checked, or maybe I just spent the 1 second to say no the one time and not being asked again. Many of us reporting errors in Translations etc, they could care less. I like the interface in Elementor Pro but man I feel the money grab in every corner!
Totally infuriating. Especially since there are much better free AI and image optimization alternatives out there. I had a client who manages his own site ask me recently if the site had malware because "I'm suddenly seeing all these ads popping up."
Most businesses try to upsell -- but can be frustrating if its intrusive. Is it though? You've shown them pop up on first use but what happens after you say no/click the cross? Does it come back time and time again? If so, that's an issue, if not, then no issue in my opinion. And given that WP is where Elementor is used off of, I'd expect to be asked once in program and once in WP -- makes sense.
This also needs to be looked at from an agency standpoint, which Paul clearly demonstrates. If you manage hundreds of sites with E, it becomes a major issue. It’s not enough to be able to close a dialog box. You’ve missed the point.
RankMath do the same - its bloody horrible - RankMath Pro actually uses whether or not you use its AI features as part of the score for how well your content is optimised - you enable their AI features and get 5% more in the score for your content - which is total rubbish
I can't stand their ads because they put them everywhere on the plugin and even after you click to dismiss it, they keep showing them, that's why I switched to Bricks.
Simply put, Elementor was not built for developers/agency owners. It's a DIY builder for business owners who want to "DIY" their website. I switched to bricks, 0 regrets
100% annoying and unacceptable when using Pro version. For admins I don't care, for clients in editor roles it should not be allowed. Using css in backend can hide certain divs but this is no stable solution since ads change all the time.
It's bad enough that they introduced ads into a premium product, but to shove it down your throat every which way they can, and with affiliate links is atrocious. This a screams out if desperation to be seen as relevant, especially as Bricks and other builders are maturing at a healthy rate.
Yeah, ads are annoying. However, the recent updates made Elementor super fast. 98 score on page speed insight. I didn't see a video of you talking about the major improvements of elementor speed, witch was the greatest concern about it, and it is now resolved. And there is absolutly no reason for me as a pro user to think about other frameworks like briks or divi, or anything else. Ever since you are sponsored by Briks, all you do is to atack elementor. It is visible with a naked eye man. You no longer provide real value, you are just on a quest to fight with the bigger player. You used to be a nice vloger, now I start watching a video of yours, out of habit, and realise it's just another atack on your sponsor competitor. I petty you.
Get a grip! Bricks don’t sponsor anyone, let alone me. As for attacking Elementor, this isn’t an attack, it’s a valid question and something that clearly frustrates a lot of paying users. Just look at the comments here and in the many Elementor groups. If you’re that ingrained into a tool that you won’t accept any shortcomings, that’s on you. Great to hear that Elementor is giving you solid speed scores, but I value a good experience using a tool and that’s not what’s happening here.

Many of us reporting errors in Translations etc, they could care less. I like the interface in Elementor Pro but man I feel the money grab in every corner!
Totally infuriating. Especially since there are much better free AI and image optimization alternatives out there. I had a client who manages his own site ask me recently if the site had malware because "I'm suddenly seeing all these ads popping up."
it's the kind of thing that should appear only in the free version
Paul, I think Elementor is getting marketing advice from the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
I'm slowly beginning to move to bricks. In the meantime, anyone with a neat little snippet to disable all this non-sense?
Too many ads
i have to switch soon
Actually yes, my customers should not see any ads or upsells like that. For me no problem. But client can't see such ads.
So the Pro is as horrible as the free version concerning ads, which webmaster would ever want AI links to be visible on client websites? 😂
Just leave elementor behind my friends
That is why I don't Use elementor for two years now. I feel much better since 🤭
I would get it on the free version, but I am already a paying customer.
The AI ads are really bothersome.
Simply put, Elementor was not built for developers/agency owners. It's a DIY builder for business owners who want to "DIY" their website. I switched to bricks, 0 regrets
I think that this advertising makes elementor unattractive, because they are also displayed on finished websites.
Elementor is slowly turning into Wix, something not for developers.
100% annoying and unacceptable when using Pro version. For admins I don't care, for clients in editor roles it should not be allowed. Using css in backend can hide certain divs but this is no stable solution since ads change all the time.
Surely someone has a code snippet to cure this.
We shouldn't need to though. A simple toggle in the settings and that would suffice. :)
@WPTuts Right.
It's bad enough that they introduced ads into a premium product, but to shove it down your throat every which way they can, and with affiliate links is atrocious. This a screams out if desperation to be seen as relevant, especially as Bricks and other builders are maturing at a healthy rate.
I find it annoying with every plugins. they are all annoying, some more than others.
Quod erat demonstrandum
People still actually use Elementor? 😂
Yes, it's poor behaviour from Elementor, and it's fast becoming the most spammy plugin going!
Way too pushy. It's gone from nudge to annoyance.
Elementor is dying , its horrible already.
What an inane comment.
It is super annoying and should not be there at all in the paid version.
Elementor must die
😂
