Hi, I have an ea8150 automatic coffee maker. When I turn on the power switch, the screen asks me to start the descaling program, but after the descaling process ends, the screen displays asking me to continue descaling. Tried this several times but still not successful in descaling. Don't know what problem my device is having. Can you help me
dont you have to stir / mix the solution in there?i ask because in the manual it does not say so but i think we should. i found out a lot of the solution was still in the water container after the first clean step

Hey KRUPS UK! I have a ea82 superautomatic but I have this issue with the drip tray being too shaky making the cups move slightly. Is there a way I can fix that? Maybe putting something under the machine to absorb the shake?

Hi Martin. You do not have to run the descaling program if the appliance has not requested it. The machine only requests a descaling cycle once it has made a certain number of drinks using steam. The amount of limescale collected depends on the hardness of your water. If you live in an area where the water is very hard, you may wish to descale more often. If this has not illuminated then you can follow the instruction manual for descaling your machine as techniques vary according to the model you own. The coffee dispenses too slowly turn the coffee fineness knob to the right to make the grounds coarser (this could also depend on the type of coffee used).Run one or several rinsing cycles. Run a machine clean (see “Cleaning program”) Kaye

I have the hardness set to max, brewing around 5 cups a day and not a single request for descaling in almost 2 years. Cleaning using K tables regularly. The machine also blows steam and drips from steam nozzle while warming up and after it stops pouring coffee. It might be resolved with descaling but I couldn't find any force/manual way to run it. There are only 3 options - some reset for filter (not using), rinse and clean w/ tablet.
Hi Marty. The coffee machine will prompt you if it needs descaling but you can use the cleaning function as you have done. How often it prompts the descaling depends on the hardness setting but also the number of drinks produced. Its not unusual for some steam and water to come from the nozzle. Jack

So manual says after the first cycle must empty and clean the container but i didn t know that so in all process i didn t clean the container and now even after this i cleaned the container three times....however in my coffees i still feel there is some solution taste....what can i do?? plz help me....

I do have a question, my descaling light has never been on in almost 2 yrs of ownership. I have been using the cleaning cycle but most of the water goes into tray not the beaker I place underneath. I am assuming it needs professional maintenance in the boilers or perhaps a faulty lite? Any help guys? Thanx

@@RobertLB hi Rob, mynissue is they wanted my ref # just to tell me my warranty has expired. That was not the question I asked. I just wanted to know if this is normal for my machine given I currently live in Norwich on which you can actually see rocks come out of the faucet (yes I'm american.lol) where I'm at we have water softeners at the house so our water is as clean as it gets so never any scaling occurs. I just decided to descale anyways using the standard method. So far so good.. but stuff did come out. Best of luck, it's a great little machine and I have been really enjoying it!
I have never done it. I got the issue that there is water leaking from the small hole in the bottom. I have done a cleaning with the tablet but continues leaking. It’s only one year old.

hello Krups, I have Model EA816 and I can't find the descaling symbol when I am going into maintenance menu. Also at my last cleansing cycle I notice that at the end of the process, half the capsule was in the the side tray where the remains of the coffee ends. Can I start the descaling myself as I havent seen a symbol quite some time now?
Put the powder filled water to the calc line run the anti calc program and it asked me to add more water twice????
