This is actually amazing! So user friendly. I tried VLC before this and it has nothing on this. Literally clicked disc and it was right there ready to go! 100% would recommend!

Yeah, it's great, but I can't exit without freeze! Everytime I have to reboot the Deck after quit Kodi. Do this hapen with you?
I updated everything and tested with video and music. No - it never happens. Background playing also works. I have stock Steam Deck. Mods I made: UMA buffer size to 4G and Windows 10 on a half of SSD.
I’m playing videos from a upnp server configured on my pc. If I use the power off button from Kodi, it freezes. So, I have to exit the app using the steamOS menu

Also note that you can play some games offline, but don’t turn off SD, put it in sleep instead. And you need to verify that games are playable offline in advance.
I tried to play in the plane, but my games were draining battery too hard, so I was chilling with audiobooks, like Solaris
