Better late than never. I’m not a professional. But I helped my daughter in law roll my mom’s hair for a perm. Comb just got in the way. It’s really not a lot of extra effort to pick the comb up again. Just my opinion.
I like the diagram when sectioning I also like how he went from front to back grabbed his rod measured with his rat tailed comb it inspires me to try it on my mannequin just to get those reps practicing makes perfection 🍀🤝🙏🏼
They keep the ends of your hair inside of the roller so you don’t have to fight with little pieces of hair sticking out. They are called end papers and you can buy them at Sally’s or Amazon
Right agreed. Hair has to be clarified first, which since you washed it, it’s going to already be saturated. But you have a perm wrap that will help keep the hair saturated if you apply it cautiously (not squeezing the entire bottle all at once). Just depends on your pace.
The strands should be tucked around the rollers with a tail comb so that they are flat. Putting the curler pegs to keep the elastic from creating lines of demarcation then allowing the pegs to actually sit on the hair defeats the whole purpose. Also, unless the hair is extremely uneven 2 rolling papers shouldn't be necessary.
That's why the correct way is shown in this video: to put the roller pins on either side of the hair, not just one in the middle of the curl like most hairdressers do.
Love the sectioning of the hair. Nice perm, lovely cape and towel.
I like the simple layout of the rolls. Works well with my OCD
I like the Cricket Shimming cape.
A lot of work, but it paid off. Her hair is beautiful!
It is so nice.
How long after hair perming can do hair hailight?
he did a nice job her hair came out great
Very nice thank you for teaching.🌷
Thank you so much 🙏🏿
Very nice
Nice video, but it bothers me that he cant hold his comb in his hand.
I was thinking the same thing! Worrying me! 🤣
I think that’s to make the techniques more visible on the video, the comb would get in the way

It bothers me that some people shouldn’t even be on his channel!!!

What is that paper? And the purpose?

Very pretty
Thy very nice
I like it 👍
It's easier to work from back to front on the top section.
What's the use of end papers ?
To make sure the ends of the hair process and dry smoothly so it doesn’t look frizzy .
❤❤ Española
😍😍😍
I have one question...is it ok to do on wet hair?
It's almost always done on wet evenly saturated hair

Ahhhhhhhhh... as I get further in video.
