A healing prayer technique taught by Paramhansa Yogananda to Swami Kriyananda.

This is beautiful. ❤️Thank you 🙏 it's basically a distant Reiki healing technique. 🙌 Rubbing the hands activates Reiki and Om is a sacred sound and a Reiki symbol. And of course in energy healing, time and distance are nullified.✨
Allow me to suggest that it is universal. I have done this spontaneously in meditation for many years, though not the rubbing of the hands.

There are many ways to maintain good health or to seek healing, if illness or injuries happen to us - through allopathic medical techniques and also through alternative healing methods.
Ananda does not advocate any particular healing modality, except for the very simple and common sense approaches to healing found in the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.
Yogananda presented a surprisingly complete and holistic approach to good health many years before “holistic” became a popular concept. His emphasis was to work on every aspect of human nature, physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual - all at the same time. None of these is to be neglected; all should work together in harmony.
This is like hands on healing but at a distance.

Thank you Mary! I practiced this prayer and felt goose bumps running out my arms when I was saying Ommmmmm. I could feel God's energy flowing through me. Why say "Divine Mother" instead of "God"?
Why say any nonsense?
God has neither gender nor form. The aspects/qualities of God we relate to most are reflected in purest forms of love that humans know--Motherly and/or Fatherly love for their child. The Mother aspect of God brings healing and comfort. However, God is God. He doesn't care what we call Him/Her, just that we do call out and turn to Him/Her. If you feel closest to the Father aspects of God, pray to Father instead. Use the words that resonate with your heart and Spirit the most.

PS. Can I say the name of several people in one prayer or is it better to say each one individually? Also I'm suffering with anxiety (might possibly be due psychic attack) & worry my anxiety will go to them as I'm transferring the healing? 😬
It is best to say the names individually - unless they are a family unit, or some other natural grouping. You can also use this shorter prayer if you have several people to pray for - "AUM PRAYER
After meditation, draw the energy to the arms and hands. Rub the hands together briskly, then raise them above your head.
Visualize the person you wish to heal. Chant AUM mentally or aloud three times, deeply concentrating on God’s blessings flowing through your hands.
Do this for as long as you feel to.

PS. I don't think the anxiety is all mine. Sometimes I try everything & nothing works. I am quite sure irs coming from outside forces as there is a very dark energy person who despises me intensely living next door. I try several protection methods to no avail.

I would recommend to first direct the prayer to yourself and use maybe affirmation until you feel better. Your state of mind and devotion affects the healing strength. 🙏

Is it ok to say Heavenly or Divine Father instead of Divine Mother? To me it is God, So could I also just say "God", or "Eternal Intelligence of the Universe", does it matter exactly what I name this true force?

Hi Yogendra, it's best to hold the hands (palms) towards the particular body part, if possible. If you are sensitive, in time you'll feel the energy coming out of the hands and flowing into the particular body part. Many blessings!

Divine Mother is the female aspect of God, and She is being worshipped in many different forms in the world (Mother Mary, Kali, Saraswati etc).

@MrAkleonard - lol - but not so - I just have a habit of glancing away from the camera. This video was done totally extemporaneously.
But in another video in which I recite a long affirmation, I did use a written card to make sure I got it right, even though I had memorized it years before, because one wants to get it right for the camera, and the many viewers.

I have some friendly suggestions or perhaps critiques in order to get your message out more effectively. For instance your details could be very much less detail providing more universally acceptable principles like saying we primarily show physical love through touch with the hands. Going too deeply into the metaphysical turns many potential people away by making you sound “airy fairy” and thus brings up a lot of fear of falling into cultish or crazy beliefs. You would be better served leaving it out and simply allowing people to experience til they are ready for such details. I personally found it an incredibly powerful technique and though I found your explanation unskillful as I illustrated I didn’t disagree with anything that you said and even learned something new. You are without a doubt worthy of veneration.
However, When we as witches, sorcerers, adherents, initiates, energetically powerful, or magikcal people share we must be so vitally careful to remain almost agnostic and completely grounded in our speech trusting God to say what we don’t. Only by seeming grounded and extraordinarily pragmatic and sane can we reach those that are truly in need not just our own circle. We should be at home in a temple, a cowboy bar, or a heavy metal shop. We are the angels in human form here to heal and protect it is not right we cut ourselves off through becoming accustomed to speaking only with other seekers. This is just my opinion but a passionate one forgive for judging you your healing was sorely needed and I am grateful.

Just an FYI - he spelled it "Paramhansa", but SRF changed it to "Paramahansa" after his death to help people with pronouncing it correctly. I hope this helps.
