It is unbelievable how we, as a society, accept the deaths and injuries as a result of traffic accidents. Sell somebody a cigarette and you get sued, sell somebody a 3,5 ton death machine and you get a pat on the back. Somehow it feels like there are double standards being applied there. 🤔
That's because we've been taught that the property damage, injuries, and deaths are the price we pay for mobility. That outlook is now changing. Now we are trying to figure out how to prevent deaths entirely while still allowing mobility.
