Air Force Security Forces here. I was stationed there for 3 great years! 93-96. I know every inch of Howard and Albrook. Great memories!!! I don't remember my house number, but it was the first left thru the main gate of Albrook, next to the fence and a big gate. I think there was a church on the other side. Great video!
Sir Maximus O'Fartsalot this is where the “Panama Schedule” was created. 2 on, 2 off 3 on. The 2nd week, schedule flipped ....12 hrs of course but you got every other weekend off. Loved working essentially, half the month to rest, take trips, party, etc..
I did 3 Volant Oak rotations as a C-130 loadmaster around 1983! We used to stay downtown at the Continental hotel, the one with that cool Wurlitzer organ! Can't believe how it has deteriorated. Man, I had a blast everytime I went! I'll always miss it.
I did two "Rotes" '86 and '88. Those parties in barracks 715 were a blast and of course the club was always rockin'. Some of the best times of my life were spent "hauling trash" around Central And South America.
I did a bunch of those. That's right, it was bld 715. I thought it was called the zoo. No matter, fun was had. I flew as maintenance on many embassy runs. The coffee run was big. Some of the cities started getting dicey, FARC or whatever. I remember one , maybe Bogotá ? We got hauled around in vehicles with bullet proof glass.
