Wow. Great song, great reaction! What a solo... It's been said many times before: Saxon is probably the most underrated band in metal. They were huge here in Europe in the 80's, playing arenas. One of the great live acts in metal.
Underrated? It's one of the most higly rated hard rock/metal bands in the world outside of the US. In the 80's they drew crowds bigger than almost anyone except AC DC.
As far as i know the only Metal Song ever about the Attack and Killing of J.F.K. .....Saxon,one of the Greatest Bands ever came from England....and their new Album is Fantastic.....their Live Shows are always a Blast.....so much good Music to Discover in the Future!!! still waiting for a Reaction to TANK,ANATHEMA,MY DAYING BRIDE and CANDLEMASS !
Many great Saxon songs to check out “747 (Strangers In The Night)”, “Princess of the Night” and “Denim & Leather” and a great cover of Christopher Cross’ “Ride Like The Wind”
The Mighty Saxon, one of the greatest Metal bands of all time - still putting out fantastic albums over 40 years after their inception. First saw them in 1980, most recently about 2/3 years ago and many times in between and they are always incredible 🤘
DÄÄÄMMM..... Can't believe it's well over 30 years since listening this track of Saxon.. Whiuuuhhh. Thanks guys for reacting to this part of New Wave Of British Heavy Metal
Wheels of Steel / Denim & Leather / Strong Arm of the Law / The Eagle has Landed - Saxon were the pinnacle of NWOBHM. I was 14 and God life was good :) 😊
Interestingly their guitarist said the makers of the 'Spinal Tap' movie went out on the road with Saxon for a while and took some ideas from the band for that movie! (though of course 'Spinal Tap' is a bit of a mix of various bands). He said the idea of keeping a note going on the guitar, while pointing to a member of the crowd with his other hand, came from him (though Deep Purple's Richie Blackmore was doing similar in the early 1970s). Saxon were a bit of a blueprint for the new metal sound to come, in the 1980s.
Very important band in the era known as the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) which had its peak in the UK around 1979-1982. Saxon were contemporaries of Iron Maiden and Def Leppard, but none of us knew it back then, that those other bands would become giants - we enjoyed all the bands the same. Saxon were big, in the UK, and in parts of Europe, but never became massive like IM and DL. But they were/are a brilliant band and influenced much later metal of the '80s. Others in this thread have suggested other great songs of theirs. I only saw them live once, but they were really, really tight, heavy and melodic same time.
I've been a Saxon fan for a Long time! This is My Favorite Album by them & I bought it when it came out in Vinyl! The Title track Kicks Ass as well‼️🎼🎵🎶🎸🎙🎤🤘
I bought this album the day it was released. Couldn't get here in America yet so I had to buy the import from England. The album cover opened up with concert pictures inside. The American version didn't open up. Also there was a difference in production. The import was better
@@drumvc8060 and both bands had been around since before their first albums of course, Maiden forming in 1975 though with a very different lineup. Saxon may have done a 'history' song first but both bands were kind of in that first batch of NWOBHM bands
Metallica - The Shortest Straw (Pasadena, CA - October 3, 1992) Alot of people think this is Metallica's best song but none of the reaction channels seem to do it. You should give it a listen
Wow. ..... me is coming from Germany I know this Song since 30 years save................ Me is a little bit shocked how naiv u nailed into this video, best scene in my opion as the original radiotune sat in ....... and your mimic rolercouster lost his tracks........ Hard to anderstand Americans........... JFK was one of the best President the Unitet Staates ever had, and was done to early........ That is what this Song shall say
Brilliant band. I saw them many times in the early 1980s. They were vicious live.
Wow.
Great song, great reaction!
What a solo...
It's been said many times before: Saxon is probably the most underrated band in metal.

One of the great live acts in metal.
Definitely one of the most underrated Rock Bands. I've seen them live so many times. Such a fantastic Live Band. Biff is a Legend 🤘
Underrated? It's one of the most higly rated hard rock/metal bands in the world outside of the US. In the 80's they drew crowds bigger than almost anyone except AC DC.
Saxon has been my favorite band since 1985. I still have their first 9 albums on vinyl.
As far as i know the only Metal Song ever about the Attack and Killing of J.F.K. .....Saxon,one of the Greatest Bands ever came from England....and their new Album is Fantastic.....their Live Shows are always a Blast.....so much good Music to Discover in the Future!!! still waiting for a Reaction to TANK,ANATHEMA,MY DAYING BRIDE and CANDLEMASS !

what an excellent tune ‼️
THE MIGHTY SAXON can't believe i never heard of em till 2016
They are soooo good !!!!
METAL GODZ!!!
Saxon was and is one of the greats, for me their song, heavy metal thunder was the epitome of everything metal in the UK in the 80s
Strong Arm of the Law is, I think their best album. Another great song with feeling is Broken Heroes.
Wheels of Steel / Denim & Leather / Strong Arm of the Law / The Eagle has Landed - Saxon were the pinnacle of NWOBHM. I was 14 and God life was good :) 😊
that solo absolutely tells us the sadness and impact of this event
Saxon was one of my favorites in high school (the 80's). Check out Strong Arm of the Law, Hungry Years & 20,000 Feet.
You are witnessing history of the new wave of British heavy metal right here. Pioneers of heavy metal in the early 80s
The solo and speed on there song( fire in the sky ) live at Hammersmith oeden omg its insanely good
Strong arm of the law is an absolute banger-the song and the album
It's Saxon....innit 👍🎼🎵🎵🎶🎶❤️
My favorite Saxon song
The basse kills it
This song needs to be remade people

Top song great solo.

Check out broken heroes (about Viet Nam). I remember that song being played to remember the Challenger disaster
Saxon is from the city north of where I'm from so my dad and uncles used to go see them all the time.
I always liked their track Suzi hold on . Classic band !
Back in the days, No1 metal band, still great now.
I've been a Saxon fan for a Long time! This is My Favorite Album by them & I bought it when it came out in Vinyl! The Title track Kicks Ass as well‼️🎼🎵🎶🎸🎙🎤🤘
Iv listen to em daily since I discovered em
One of the Greatest metal tunes.
They a r e the real deal. Just check out "Carpe diem" (released two weeks ago)
My Grandma used to drink with Saxon back in the 70s before they got famous and were still called Son of a Bitch.
Crusader...that's the song you need to react to!
I bought this album the day it was released. Couldn't get here in America yet so I had to buy the import from England. The album cover opened up with concert pictures inside. The American version didn't open up. Also there was a difference in production. The import was better
You should react to machine gun, motorcycle man, the eagle has landed, running for the borders Saxon
Still to this day one of the loudest bands I have ever seen
Crusader Saxon
Down n dirty 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
4:30 A red Corvette? Surely a Lincoln Continental would be more appropriate and way cooler? ;)
This group no doubt one of Maidens inspirations. Saxon was doing history songs before Maiden
No, Saxon debut album 1979, Maiden in 1980; both part of the 80s NWOBHM
@@drumvc8060 and both bands had been around since before their first albums of course, Maiden forming in 1975 though with a very different lineup. Saxon may have done a 'history' song first but both bands were kind of in that first batch of NWOBHM bands

SAXON is the best Heavy metal band!!!!
Denim And Leather!👍

The Eagle has landed and Crusader!!
Wanted to name my son Saxon but was overuled.
That's a bloody shame! - If your son shares your surname? Saxon Kelley sounds like a boss!
Metallica - The Shortest Straw (Pasadena, CA - October 3, 1992) Alot of people think this is Metallica's best song but none of the reaction channels seem to do it. You should give it a listen
Dude y’all didn’t do it live !!!
Saxon put a Covid song, no lie!

They never did figure out what the song's about , too young I guess.
