I have to be honest, this was a VERY difficult lesson for me. The straight leg, hand on the ground and stretch up is actually impossible for me at the moment, and as i don't have blocks, i just use a chair, but the chair is quite high so its then too easy. I'll buy some block, or there is some building going on next door and they wake up up super early, so i could just borrow some of their bricks, I'm sure they won't mind. I mean, what's a house without a few bricks missing? Ain't gonna hurt! It was also great to meet Sara, who must be the deputy cult leader or something! Out of all the cults I'm in, this is my favourite because the leader, like most good cult leaders should do, is he gets the disciples to do the work and he just speaks and tells his dog to shut up. I'm still in. Just! Thanks Tim!
THE MOST CHALLENGING!!!!! I had to pause the video and nearly cried when I saw there was still 10 minutes left. I continued on and finished, but for the love of Ollie !!!!!!! I'm still here and #Icandohardthings
Thank you Tim and Sarah. Lots of balance, good stuff. I think it is very charming that you leave in Ollie's barking, love the realness - reminds me of one of your meditation sessions, embrace the sounds around you. Keep up the good work, Ollie, let 'em know you're there! Great session 🙂
And this ladies and gentlemen(or however you identify yourself) is why I started to follow Tim. This are the best practices, when he kicks our butts(at least in my opinion). This are the ones that help me the best to get through the day.
Wow, that was a sweaty flow! It was mostly doable on my part. Sarah”s balance and poses were perfect! Thanks! Also big thank you to Tim for his instructions and humor. Thanks to Ollie the guard dog!
Hi Tim, I haven't commented in awhile but I'm still plugging away at the challenge with you. Still intending to sign up as promised for further coursework at the end. I consider my balance to be pretty good--slackline, climbing, etc is solid enough, but I'll be damned if I could hold some of those warrior three balance moves. Always more to learn. I got crow for the first time today. You're making a world of difference for me. Enormous thanks to you and all your guest yogis for making all this happen. Sending love to the west coast, -H
Tim, I'm running behind still on day 11. Wanted to say that enlightened folks still have thoughts, fears, desires etc but they are not at all overwhelmed or even moved by them. The intelligence dominates the mind, and the self (the life we are, atma) dominates the intelligence so we become driven by 'Transcendental knowledge or wisdom, and comoassion' not our thoughts. Not saying I'm enlightened by any means - this is what I've heard from the great yoga sages! Your cloud metaphor is a good practise. And I also like the idea of how birds fly over head, we can observe them, but we're not gonna let them make a nest in our hair! Love your sessions.
Day 23 done! This was a little challenging, the balance part was a little tough, but we got there. Thank you for yet another fun flow, take care. See you tomorrow, Tim!
Day 23 of the 2023 Challenge was sent to your e-mail if you signed up for the challenge. (Check your junk/spam folder if you didn't get it.) If you did not sign up please do that now so you don't miss any future videos. To sign up go to timsenesiyoga.com. Click at the top/right of the page where it says “FREE 30 DAY CHALLENGE” and then scroll down to sign up. When you’re signed up, I’ll email you the challenge video of the day. And please let me know what you think about the challenge when you're done.😊
@@yogawithtim Hi - I did sign up long ago, but the daily email links don't come before 6pmEST, so I have to search for it on the web because I like to practice earlier. I googled a lot and checked his pages. Anyway, this one worked out, as mentioned in my prior message.
Hahahaha! “Ollie, this is not that kind of class!” An excellent and challenging Day 23. You and Ollie had me laughing through the first half-a wonderful reminder not to take yoga too seriously!
Still in though this one is quite more difficult, eagle etc... so challenging. But I won’t give up, practice again and again ! I feel more and more confident. Blessing Tim🙏🏻👍🏼🍒
I've been practicing for several months, but I think today was the closest I have come to really understanding the mental component of yoga. I was feeling very anxious about things this evening and decided to try doing my next yoga practice instead of watching a show or reading. Even though this is a tough one, I was able to really focus my mind on my body and breath, and through the challenging poses I felt a real calm feeling coming over me. The negative thoughts left my mind and I felt simple focus and positive vibes. Now even after the practice I am still feeling relief from the anxiety. Very cool. I think the strength I have gained through consistent practice helped me achieve this feeling, as I could focus on full body engagement in poses that before I would have been entirely focused on trying to find the first steps to balancing. Thanks for this great course, and sorry for the long comment.
That was difficult! Exactly what I needed today; it was original and challenging. I used Yoga Jellies under my hands at the end to make those poses more accesible to those with shoulder or wrist issues. Namaste, and stay well!
An excellent teacher will always challenge his/her students, Tim does that very well in lesson 23! Thank you, Sara(h?) for your beautiful examples! Such grace despite Ollie’s shenanigans today!
Tim, you need to do a 5 min tutorial on how your neck and head should feel and be held while doing reverse plank and back bends... Like the tutorial you gave for getting the flat back in the forward bend last year 💚
I almost didn't do this one because I'm not feeling great today, but I'm glad I did! It was exactly what I needed. Very tough, but it woke me up. Thanks so much. Ollie...needs to be taught to be a gentleman! :-D I think he's in love...he couldn't stop staring at Sarah.
This week is always the inflection point between "yoga that benefits, refines, and compliments the body I use for work" and "yoga that borders on the sadistic to the delight of people who don't have to rely on their quads to make a living elsewhere."
I did this routine two days in a row because first time through was patchy in places. Second time through was better but still plenty of room for improvement. Happy to say that moving into Crow pose at reasonable pace to try to match Sarah worked out OK today. Woohoo!
Great class! I enjoy all the subtle movements that strengthen us for deeper expressions of the poses. Ollie's participation in class is awesome as well.
Spectacular flow! I love the standing sequence; the beauty of the flow as you move from one pose to another is my favorite. Makes me feel like a true yogi. ;). Blessings!
Definitely a very challenging practice but enjoyed the reminder that I have much to learn about my body! Also nice to see how far I have come in just a few weeks and how good my body feels while doing it.
I really enjoy the practice, I agree with the tribe, this is one of the reasons I follow Tim. These classes let me feel how I being able to get to where I am, more conscious and flexible in and out. Namaste!

balance challenges, all right! Excellent practice!

Hi there, H! Thank you so much for sharing and for the kind words! Great job and keep it up! :)
Today's practice was a lesson in humility. Practice makes Practice!
You're absolutely correct. Thanks for joining us today Andrea
@@yogawithtim No truer words have ever been spoken!
Wobbling all around. Thank you for this practice.
You're so welcome! Wobbling is good, it means you're getting stronger and learning to balance! :)
The standing sequence was fantastic and powerful. I loved this practice. Thank you!
You're welcome Sarah!

The flow was perfect! Thank you so much. You are a great teacher. I'm constantly recommending you to my yogi friends.
Nice new tricks like the side tree and another I forgot already. Definitely do this again.

Enjoyed the balances flowing into each other - must admit there was some wobbling going on!
So glad you enjoyed it, Colleen! The wiggling and wobbling is good, it means you are getting stronger and better at balancing! :)

Still much to learn. Day 23 was challenging but very rewarding, the bridge pose took all my tension away. Thank you Tim
Those balances were completely different for me on each side of my body - challenging but doable on one side and so difficult on the other!
Definitely a very challenging practice but enjoyed the reminder that I have much to learn about my body! Also nice to see how far I have come in just a few weeks and how good my body feels while doing it.
That's awesome, Ben! Great job! :)
