Leatherhead is one of my favorite characters in this show. He’s both brains and brawn. And plus, I like the idea of a beast waiting to come out when someone is pushed enough. Also, the scene where Leatherhead saves the turtles from the soldiers and the screen cuts to black but you hear screams and people being torn apart, that had to be one of the darkest moments of the show.
I can't help but compare the 2012 Leatherhead to this one. They have a lot of similarities; both of them were originally exotic pets that were cast aside, both were found by an alien race and experimented on, and both have quite the temper. The main difference between 2012 Leatherhead and 2003 Leatherhead is the upbringing. Whereas 2003 Leatherhead was genuinely loved by the Ultroms, 2012 Leatherhead was tortured routinely by the Kraang.

One of my most memorable scenes with him, also probably one of if not favorite character, if I could change anything I would have maybe in a alternate reality episode would make Leatherhead less of a genius and more of a selfish bad ass loner of some sort, just to see what that would have been like, for him to be more a Raph character, but I love his character and his design in this (the original style of the show) and I love this show so much even when I watched it as a kid and I literally turned 26 last month and I tried to find the boxset, its not an easy treasure to hunt let me tell you lol

Not really Killer Croc.Croc was a thug whose sole purpose was to steal money and valuables. The Lizard was a scientist who turned into a Lizard when he got pissed off. Just like Leatherhead, he had a split personality.
I always love leatherhead. I love characters that are a combination of brute force and extreme intelligence. It makes them really cool because they can back it up both mentally and physically.
Leatherhead is another one of the best characters I love. Seeing him in the 2003 and 2012 really shows what a great character he is. Dealing with his wild instincts is challenging, but he fights it as best as he can. The Turtles remind him that he's family to them no matter what, and he's important to them in their lives. I love his friendships between Mikey and Donnie. Mikey was the first to befriend and held no ill will against even when Leatherhead lost control of himself. Donnie has become a great science partner and friend as well and their teamwork together is really something to cherish. Mikey and Donnie really bring the best in Leatherhead.

Leather head was always my favorite character in this show. Sure he’s a doc conners rip off but his personality and struggle with anger was always relatable to me since I also struggled with anger management as a kid.
Love that first scene of him being foreshadowed! Leatherhead in general is such a great character here. I love that he became something of a fifth Turtle and came to help them in Exodus. Seeing him rip into Shredder was amazing. I wish they’d at least brought him back for Enter the Dragons since they brought virtually every other Earthbound character for the final battle

Leatherhead from the 2003 TMNT is a Crocodile, “I like Crocodiles better than Alligators.” & he’s a powerful Alia of The Turtle. Plus, he’s the 2nd Reptilian character who’s the brains of the group. Like Michael Angelo said, Leatherhead is a Crocodile version of Donatello.

This leatherhead was better than the one in 87. The 87 one just made him a mindless villain with an Australian outback accent.
