I have made this several times, it always comes out super watery. So,The last one I added 2 ounces of raw shea butter (melted) with an immersion blender and it was a beautiful consistency - more creamy and less watery.
Cecil the UA-cam Superstar :-) I just love your Channel. Everything you do leaves me fascinated. You are truly a blessing and I thank you for all you do. Many blessings always to you and your family. Take care my dear friend!
I'll be making this soon. I've already placed the order for hibiscus powder and that particular brand of Aloe Vera Gel product. I will be substituting camellia seed oil and rose hip kernel oil for the grape seed oil, as my skin doesn't seem to get along well with grape seed oil. Hopefully everything turns out well. I'll have to break out the gloves so I can wring out the filter paper when making the extract, since it was most cost effective for me to buy finely powdered hibiscus instead of whole flowers or even chopped and sifted flowers.
Have fallen in love with your channel. What else can I say. Thank you so so very much for sharing these priceless videos with us. Ton of thanks indeed 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐💐🌺🌺🌺🌺🌷🌷🌷🌷
Hello Cecil! I have just found your channel and this recipe. I made it and am excited to try it. One question. I know you mentioned that the shelf life of the hibiscus and glycerin mixture will depend on the shelf life of glycerin. Should I keep it in the fridge or just in a dry cool place away from the sunlight? Thank you so much! ❤
Dear Cecil, I discovered you not long ago and it’s not a day with out watching and saving your videos. Thank you for sharing with all of us your secrets and I personally value them . I already start purchasing all I need and as soon they arrive I’ll start to make my your creams that I’ll call Cecil’s cream and use them. Now I have a question for you,can you double the amount to have extra cream? I’ll like to get my daughter into using better and healthier cream for the face… Thank you so much for your time and to share and educate me on this beautiful and fascinating do yourself cosmetics. I’m 60+ but I guess it’s never late to learn and try new things. 🤗🌹❤️
I just found your channel and love the skin cream. I like to call it a balm! :) I find that if I store in a clean 1 oz or 2 oz pump bottle, I don't feel like I have to wash my hands 'til the skin peels off just to be sure I don't contaminate my little jar, lol. Hope you are still posting videos. You have a new subscriber! ;)
You are more than amazing. I really appreciate all your great work. I can't miss any of your videos! I am from Egypt and really glad that I got to know your channel by chance! ❤❤❤
I'm glad you like it. Remember that hibiscus is a natural product that oxidises over time and changes colour from pink to brown. If you notice a change in colour, please stop using it. It is best to always prepare small badges so that you can use it all up before it starts to oxidise.
Thanks for always being there for us, thy Lord is your strength . I will try it but I watch other video on hibiscus face and body wash , you mention hyaluronic acid and Coco glycosides, how can I get them
Toward the end of the video, I explained why I am not adding any preservative to the cream. The aloe vera gel has preservative in it, and the high percentage of glycerine added to the hibiscus extract acts as a preservative to the extract, for this reason, I did nit add any preservative.
@@flo-dd5sw You can add a preservative if you like. I am only showing how I prepare the cream. Everyone is free to modify it as they wish. Just make sure that the preservative you use should be compatible with the ingredients, including the preservative in the store-bought aloe vera gel.
My skin has been so dry lately! I’m going to give this a try. Have you been using it regularly? What kind of results have you had? What are your thoughts on adding honey for additional skin benefits?
Just be careful to check the pH to make sure it won't irritate your skin. Hibiscus and honey are both acidic, so you may need to neutralize with a base to bring it to an appropriate pH for your skin type and to keep your preservative working properly.
Hi there I’ve just come across your channel and I’ve watched you make your own aloe Vera gel so I was wondering why you would use a store bought Aloe and not your own? I think this cream looks amazing 😍and I’d love to try to make it but I would rather use your method for making the Aloe Gel with 4 ingredients so can you tell me if this will be the same result? I’ve subscribed to your channel and I’m so excited that I’ve found you, I am looking forward to watching all of your content so thank, you thank you, thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us all, love and blessings to you ❤️🧿

Hello Cecil, I have a question that concerns me. I would like to know when, when making a lightening cream, should you put the lightening glyceryl in the oily phase with the emulsifiers in the sea bath? or when the cream freezes?
Hi cecil, this is an amazing video and i am a huge fan of yours. I had a query...if i want to make this cream wth the proper water and oil phase as how normally a cream is prepared and use xanthum gum and olivem 1000, how would the formulation look like?

so really nice
Nice cream with good ingredients. I'll surely try this one. Can we use organic hibiscus powder instead.
Very beautifully blended!!😍❤
Thank you dear. Unfortunately, the colour will fade as the days go by. To avoid this, one can add pink mica powder to the cream
