Now, on her 4th visit the DA comes to congratulate Stephanie that they can bring Dylan to trial - and Stephanie suddenly questions it and how it might affect their relationship with Jessica and that Stephanie had thought that the threat of a trial might be enough to keep Dylan away.
Stephanie set it in motion by calling the police about her niece having been victimized. She questioned it for a second with Lt. Conrad but still wanted him to go and arrest Dylan (he had told her that it was her decision to make). With The DA, Stephanie was less forceful than Eric, but still Stephanie said before and after Eric's tirade that Stephanie wants Dylan to be hold accountable for his actions, that it had been against the law, feels that as Jessica's guardians they have to do it or they are just as guilty as Dylan is. Stephanie didn't question it in front of Teresa, when the DA and Conrad came and questioned Jessica. When the DA came to take Jessica to the grand jury, we had Stephanie telling the DA that she bas been back and forth on it, but that she feels there is no other way and she told the DA that Dylan had climbed into her niece's bedroom. The DA replied that they would get an injunction, if the grand jury allows them to go to court.

Maybe scare Dylan into staying away with a _threat_ of a conviction for statutory R a p E against his record, without actually havin to go thru with it. I don't see why Dylan couldn't wait the few months it would take for Jessica to get to 18. If they "love" each other so much (as opposed to lust), they could wait and still be in love when it was legal for them to be intimate like that. 🤷🏽♀️ Let's also not forget Eric's insistence on moving this forward (I know, he's easily forgettable but he played a role here too, and is now leaving Steph to do all the leg work and get all the blame). And still neither Stephanie nor Eric call Jessica's parents to ask about their opinion and if Jessica should now really have to participte in a statutory rape trial. Stephanie could at least check out if one of them might take Jessica back. If they are still in Canada or back in Iowa, the issue would be solved too (age of consent 16, Jessica and Dylan separated).

Eric was the one who wanted the prosecution without a doubt. I guess now with his Sheila trouble he is once again leaving it all on Steph's shoulders.
Jessica's mind isn't the law. Legally, she was raped due to age. At any rate, Dylan couldn't wait the few months it would have taken for Jessica to get to the legal age? Honestly... Steph doesn't want to go thru with this... it is clear from the words that have been coming out of her mouth. Seems Ms Emerson has more of a personal stake in this than she should as she is the one pushing...
As Jessica's main guarding, Stephanie is really the one working mostly with the DA. This is Stephanie's 4th meeting with the DA, while Eric only has spoken once with Mrs Emerson (but he had been clear of his wish - a trial against Dylan), while Eric later gets all info from Stephanie. And while Stephanie was the one with second thoughts, that might have also put more blame on her, because Jessica expected Stephanie to _understand_ her side and to stop the DA. The DA shares the sad story about her younger sister Mary. 16 year old Mary had fallen in love with a 25 year old, Mary convined her parents to not press charges and Mary ran off with her boyfriend and her life ended up being a living hell. ?? Why didn't the parents act then and didn't press charges after the girl had run off? And if she then had been 18 already, then she had been a legal adult. I hated seeing her stumped. I am glad she has an ace or two reserved! Best wishes Sheila. Eric used you and treated you badly. Deal with him! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Angel/Trinidad.
❤❤❤
A marriage full of demands and blackmail 😂😂
Where's Kevin been? Good to see him.
I expected for him to say "if loving you is a crime I don't wanna be right" 🎶🎶🎶🎶😂😂
Why they think a brotha doesn't know what _a bank_ is?! 😆🤨
Right?! 🙄 This show is so problematic in that regard. The DA at least is a successful educated woman but she's a side character with no story.
This show never did right by its character of color. At least not in the 90s. ☹
@@ajax34 So true. The show's outlook is _very_ whitewashed. An LA with no people of color (except on the margins). A fashion industry with no g ay people (unless you count Sally as drag).
It's so infuriating
@@ajax34They still don’t .I am a white woman and I see it .The non Caucasian casts are in short storylines and then pushed to the side and eventually disappear,or pop back on once or twice a year for the next 20 years ,so the show can say they have been playing the character for sooo long.Pleasssse
a good lesson for Eric. his whole family had told him about Sheila. serves him right
Thank you. ❤❤❤
While it is a sad story, I fail to see how it is supposed to explain why 17 year old Jessica can't be involved with 20 year old Dylan. Why would they run off, if Dylan is a student AND working at Forrester (nowadays at Spectra)?
The DA's sister ran off, even when the parents had allowed the relationship. What keeps Jessica and Dylan from running off as soon as Jessica turns 18 and is legally an adult?
The DA needs to recuse herself.. She is not being very objective about this whole thing
Exactly and this DA woman is oit for revenge...how could Dylon ever stand a fair chance
$36.65? You need another job bruh!😂🤣
Waiting for B&B 1908 onwards to be uploaded🤞🤞🤞
Sally doesn’t care one lick about Dylan and his problems. She’s only doing this to get back at Stephanie. For what I don’t know. None of the things that have happened to Sally are even remotely Stephanie’s fault. 😂😂
You can't compare the ages of 16 and 25 to 17 and 20 that is a much bigger difference
Jessica did consent so how is it rape?
She's underage so her consent doesn't matter according to the law. Which is why it is called "statutory" rape.
Sleep in the same bed these delusional women killing me 😂😂
Oh how the tables have turned Eric 30 days of divorce torcher
the two women in Eric's life, whose names start with an S, gave him a list: stay for a while. Let's work this out.
The one woman in Eric's life, whose name starts with a B, was given a list: stay. Let's figure this out.
Next scene, please 🙄🙄
Dylan Jessica storyline is ultra boring. Scrap it pls.
Sorry, you can't just scrap it, the storyline is 29 years old and done now. So at this point in the game, just skip it yourself. Lol.
Wait. A 16 year old and a 25 year old is compared to a 17 year old and 20 year old?
I though the same lol...and what is even more crazy is that this women is out for persnal vengence because of what happened to her niece...Dillion never stand a fair chance
Keviiiiiiiiin ❤
Why are all of the women dressed in black on this episode? Steph, Sheila, the DA, Jessica, even Sally has a black blouse.
Anyone know when Lauren comes back? The date?
lauren who??
@@jkoncz Lauren Fenmore
Spring 95 to finally fight with Sheila and revealing his past to James ! But a lot drama will happening a lot lol …
Wish that Conner & Dylan would have an affair 🤣🤣🤣🤣
No no no, it's supposed to be Connor and Anthony! 😂
@@annieo6527 ...Or even better - All 3 of them 😜😜🤣🤣
