Wonder how it would work, just folding the top over tight, to make it able to slide over belt. Could make it a little rounded with a slight lip on the end.
Easier to get the right fit if you wrap the blade in a layer or two of painters tape and put it in the pipe before the final press. Gives you just the right amount of retention. And leave a little tap at the top of the opening to fold over as a thumb push. Also easier to just make a couple of slits for the belt loop instead of folding and riveting it. Just some things I've picked up on after a few years of making these.
Ill be sure to try the painters tape next time. I used to use slits but they would break as my belt buckles are quite large due to the width of the belt on the gimble, so I just fold them over now. Thanks for your comment 🙂
Nice vid..... Unfortunately the audio is baddddddd. Couldn't watch it completely, as the audio is Lowder than you speaking, which wasn't good on my earphones.
I cant it will mess with my stats, i cant make any changes once a video goes live like that unfortunately. I have a few tutorials on other things coming, ill keep everyones feedback on the music in mind when editing those. Thanks.
@@Land2AirFishing Gotcha buddy, great video, I honestly had to mute most of it. I think you are a very talented person, humble productive criticisms, people might not like classical or chill out music, but nobody minds if for a super cool video like yours. Cheers!
@@urbanoutdoorsman appreciate you taking time to comment. I've had many comments like yours. I will be sure to revisit this and put together another tutorial. Merry Xmas ⛄
Let me know what you thought of this DIY and if you will be making one for yourself!! Apologies for the audio issues with the loud music.
Brilliant mate tks

@@remingtonsteele8779 that would work also 👌🏼
Nice work mate, a good idea. And who doesn’t like a vid with some many innuendo’s 😂
Sick mate. That's a great idea!
I’ve found the best way to evenly heat PVC pipe is by submerging it into a hot oil. Cheers from the States.
what a beauty
Thankyou
Excellent job.
Good idea! Thanks.
Wow I learned a lot
Vary cool
Thanks mate

Your welcome....I knew it had to be for someone :)
Sweet.

Reoccurring message from earphone users, I intend on revisiting this and completing a better quality tutorial.

Good video--music not good at all--distracts from video.
Ok
I'd love to finish watching to the end, but the audio simply made it torturous. Sorry bro, can't help you with watch length.

I just had to throw you on 'Silent' dude. Mousy voice with booming music gets tiresome quickly. Didn't even watch to the end. I hope it worked!?
nice!
