- it was built in the 1970s. It is a very fasinating place, the Tesco shop itself was very old fashioned and still had a lot of original features from the 70s and closed On the 4th April 2015 this branch of Tesco closed.
They started using the Xlerators in 2011 i believe or somewhere around that (the hand dryers) and the automatic taps are probably from 2014 so it must of had some type of refurbishment
they started using them before 2010 actually as NCHLT mentioned it in his local Tesco Xlerator video description I think.

They didn't start using them in 2011, the ones at chatham were likely installed around that point though.
@@DryersaroundtheUK That was a mistake and i didn't understand Tesco serial number system, it is likely from 2010 and replaced a 2006 airdri classic

I worked Security there at Tesco in 2014. The '70s styled store and restaurant. Also, the car park is completely closed off now.

I think it closed 2015 when tesco closed like 7 stores like Kirkcaldy, Chatham, etc
