Your right on the money about everything! I haven’t bought anything but jewelry and I will only buy handbags when the truly speak to me . I rather save the money now ❤
I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *condup* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it

This video has arrived just in time for me. I have been struggling with this issue since January. I stoped doing manicures about one year ago, because I had a really bad experience with nail polish that stained my nails. It took me almost 6 months to clear the stain and after that I started to rethink the whole manicure and pedicure process….I also stopped doing pedicures and I have to say the salon where I did my pedicures is of high quality and high end. I learned to do my own and I must say with practice I have gotten really good at doing my own manicure and pedicure. I have been evaluating all my purchases amps needed or just not needed… in a way I have been thinking I have more than enough and do I really need this.. I am happy with doing this… so thank you so much for doing this video as it’s just perfect.. as always thank you for sharing your thoughts with me as I really enjoy all of your videos….
Thank you Judite! Wow that was some really bad polish to stain your nails for so long! You should look up Dazzle Dry (I get nothing from them) I have had good luck with their products. I have been evaluating purchases too and I love you ask yourself if it is needed or not.
Clothes for me too. I organized my closet earlier this year and I donated so much and replaced items with high quality, good, natural fabrics. I would rather have less and better quality.
Melinda! That beautiful pink color got you on the Gucci wallet - I bought your red one! SLGs lure me too. I bought a rare LV one but haven’t even used it yet! 😂
HI I really enjoy watching your videos 💕💕.. also I have very similar taste so would love you to do a video on your perfume collection …keep doing great videos ! 💕💕💕
This was fun to hear what you would not purchase this year. I'm looking forward to hearing your story of the VCA. I hope you buy more Yurman this year. It's my favorite. I took some pieces in to have them cleaned at the local jeweler and she commented that I had some pieces she had not seen. She was probably in her 20s and that's when I purchased them back in the '90s. I love the older Yurman pieces.
While I don’t have a “don’t buy” list, I do have a fine jewelry bucket list that I want to complete before buying anymore luxury items. Keeping away from lip products is just an ongoing battle for me. Thank you for such a fun video. 🩷
I finished two lipglosses last week and I was beyond happy. Then I want into my drawer took another one out from the hundreds I have accumulated. I decided to just stick to one or two at a time instead of using so many and all of them being halfway!
Yeah great video. I stop myself from buying more makeups. No more. I am doing very well this Sephora sale too but only buy what i am running out of. No more new eye shadows palettes nor lipsticks. Wow your SA is so so generous to give you so many LV samples and really you do not need to buy anymore. I love perfumes too and cant stop myself from the LV ones. So got the Pacific Chille for this year and no more. Still have a lot. Fine jewelry yes i will consider not necessarily branded if i see the need. Err...the LV toiletries with the 3 sets...errr....am still trying to resist. I do not have any but now why do i need them...Thanks for sharing Melinda 😍
Thank you! I have so much eyeshadow and always look at the new palettes same with lipstick so those are big no's this year. My SA is very nice and usually fills a slg box with samples of fragrance for me. Those toiletry pouches are so cute but I have to resist lol.
Great video and points Really need to use and wear what we have.before adding more especially products and perfume -( don’t wear it as much) Like to use one or two SLG No longer buy candles. Your nails look beautiful so professional so much better and less expensive than a salon. Beautiful pink bags and jewellery and thanks for sharing 🎀
I am still bad about candles but I do wait until I have used all before buying more. I tend to only burn them in the winter for some reason. Thank you so much! Xoxo
I'm slowing down my makeup shopping, especially at Sephora. I don't think I will ever spend enough to qualify as Rouge level again. Other retailers offer better deals without the restrictions.
I have never made it to Rouge and I used to be platinum at Ulta but they made the spend way too high. I agree for example Nordstrom had the 15% off and anyone could use it.
I wish I could give up pedicures, but since I broke my back 1 1/2 years ago, bending over to do my own toes is impossible. I have given up the manicures though. I'm with you on the VCA with one exception. I would love to purchase the Vendome pendant in Paris. When I was there last year, it was out of stock. VCA stateside lost me when my local boutique fired my SA for permitting non VIPs to purchase the annual pendant. I've always been a jewelry lover and other than purchasing my SO Hermes bag when it arrives, I will only be purchasing jewelry this year.
I am sorry about your back! No way you could do your own. That is horrible they fired your SA! I was always offered those but never bought any and one year my SA just never got back when I asked what the stone was. I hope you get your beautiful pendant next time you're in Paris!
I made a list at beginning 2024 of what I do not need to buy in 2024. Nail polish ( which I broke last week for a purple that looked nothing like ones I have), makeup except for refills, jewelry, shoes, lippies ( any lip products...have so many and so stocked up on ones I love if run out), SLGs and no silk scarves ( twilly, bandeau, wrappies, etc) so far so good! Have a wonderful week!
Unsolicited footwear advice...I have a super high arch too and I also travel to Europe every year, sometimes twice, and I love Steve Madden lug sole booties, they're super cute, practical and take on cobblestones or even a slippery hike in Iceland. I'm of your mind about expensive shoes, Timberlands are also good, plus I live in Colorado. And yes to no Mani/Pedis, I'm down to only 4 drawers of makeup and yeah this is one of the most important videos you've made. LOL Save your money for bags, trips and congratulations on the subscriber number... Love your videos, you're very calming!

No worries Melinda. Yes, Harrods tea room is fabulous, I hope it still is, I went there many many years ago, you need to book a table though.
