After making few mistakes, I have a list if items that I will say no if offer. My 24/24 was a mistake. After getting 2 Kelly’s, I absolutely never use this bag. I don’t like the mules that I’ve got neither. Also I should have said no to a calvi, I don’t use it. And lastly, it will be surprising for many since it’s a very hard to get bag, but I regret my mini Kelly. I didn’t ask for it but my SA offered it to me anyway. It’s a special one, but this bag is so tiny, it’s useless for me. I should have said no and wait for a Kelly 25. Big lesson learned, it’s not because something is hard to get and very hyped that I should get it. Even less at that price point and now I end up still wanting a 25.🙄
I ditch my smart watch on Sundays for a classic one. Saturday is often spent on a big hike/looong walk but if it isn’t, I wear a classic watch all weekend. I still have phone for purchases or pop a card in my wallet. It’s been such a nice change and I’ve really enjoyed it.
It's helpful to hear other ppl talk about their "mistakes", we all make them! It's just painful when they are so $$$. For me, one of my mistakes was with the silk scarves; unlike you, who can wear them so beautifully, it's not my style, even though they are so gorgeous.
I dont have much money but there was a time that i was determined to get an hermes bag and changed my mind because im not really a bag person but i love art and cooking so i went with homeware instead..with a price of 1 kelly or Birkin i can get a whole table scape and have fabulous dinner with my family and great cappuccino with their breakfast cups 😂
Sigh all the purchases we sometimes regret. I too held on to loafers that I thought I should size up a bit but after a while realized they are too big 😕. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Excellent video Amy - it's v hard to list out all the items that are purchase regrets but it's a mature and sensible reflection to do. Among all the categories of fashion, I love clothes the most too but I also make the most mistakes with clothes too coz I'm more prepared to experiment with them as opposed to bags, jewelry, shoes etc. With the H items I brought home, I have rehomed RTW the most either through reselling or swapping. It's okay la, we live and we learn. I've learnt to slow down my H shopping; over time we try, we research and we get smarter at luxe shopping.
This just proves my thoughts, buying things to build up ones pre spend and then realizing that the pieces really don’t fit one’s lifestyle. Just as you said the price of these small things add up to be a bag, however one can’t get the bag without buying the small things. For me it’s a lot easier for me to just by from a reseller bc the spend is the same. Handbag from boutique+ all pre spend items equal’s premium price for the same handbag. And then I don’t have to make videos like this or figure how to sell it, bc it really doesn’t make since to have these items just sitting for the sake of sitting. Move on to another home, it’s just money sitting and not really being used. And why have to make up reasons/occasions to wear use something once a year if that. Just my thoughts.
Hi Amy - I got the same white loafer and to make it more comfortable I used the shoes stretcher to extend the part that touch my little toes (cost USD 14). My one is very comfy to wear now.
Hi Amy! Love all the items you showed. Hopefully you can start incorporating them in your rotation and you’ll start to love them again 🥰 except for the loafers that don’t fit. Great video ❤
Thank you for your honest sharing! I guess you want to speed up getting the quota bag, thus buying few pre spent items that may not be useful. I have that jacket in brown, size M. Love it!
Hi Amy, I think you may have gotten the wrong color/combo for your CDC. I have both sizes in a rainbow of colors/hw and wear it daily 😊try a different combo ❤
As for any shoes, we never should compromise on sizing. Shoes are made to walk and go out of the house. If your size is not available you are right: wait for your size to come in!😂👡🙅🏻♀️🫶🏼Happy Sunday Amy
You should sell all those beautiful items that you can't/don't use (sigh...we all have those!). You will recover SOME money, enough to buy yourself a little something! :)
In practice it's a sound idea but in reality these things don't resell well and not as worth the effort if you know what I mean :) But I'm sure in time, I'll think of what to do with them (keep using and/or sell some).
After seeing your entire video I am thinking why would you buy wrong sizes in the first place ..agree about the US CAD exchange it’s so horrible ..I turned down a bag offer in the US for this reason.
They seem like the right fit in store at first (especially after sizing up already) but after walking in them for long period, the shape of the shoe just wasn't right for me.

So nice to hear and see an influencer like you to share a video like this - about “practical” shopping 👌🏼 Thank you for sharing 💜
Luxury is not practical at. I’m a lux lover even I know that.
Sigh all the purchases we sometimes regret. I too held on to loafers that I thought I should size up a bit but after a while realized they are too big 😕. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Which shoe stretcher do you use? I tried mine and it didn't work out to stretch the big tow part :(
I’ve sent two photos of the shoe stretcher to your Instagram message 😊
Oh i just checked and dont see your request 😅

Thanks for sharing ur honest opinion on these items my lady. 🙏🏼😘😘😘Sandy

I love your Hermès Constance bag❤😊
You should take your shoes in to get stretched. Great video.

I’d love that edgy bracelet!!!! Are you selling it?
Haha it was never my intention to sell any of these things, it's more an educational / informative purpose :)

Don’t you buy all these H goods towards your pre spend? You wouldn’t get a quota bag without buying all these different items from H 😅

Very sound advice. We all have those items that we thought we needed but I agree some items we just need to appreciate from afar! 🩶🩶🩶
