Kait, great topic and great coverage; In past 3 years, with your motivation/information and others on YT,- inspite of my Doctors comments- I've lost over 110 lbs (to high school level), reduced A1C from 13 to 5.7, no flabby skin, Cut meds over 70%, (almost off), Sunday is a feast day- deliberate Carb-eating, otherwise mostly carnivore & greens. Formerly did 2 42-hour fasts/week- Monday & Friday, [6PM Sun to Following noon], now, for 2 months, doing 72-hr fast SUN 6 PM - WED PM- to maximize authophagy & detox. Also ending Showers with Cold water rinse- cant do every day yet, somedays too cold. LOL. Keep up the great work. 😂
🤔Went 26 days no solid food once, thru the holidays, next for me will be 20-22 hr fast between feeding. Just restarted Keto after a year of crapfesting. Feel good and my B/P is in the normal range, they wanted to put me on pills, said they would not do my rotator cuff surgery if it was high😨👍good to go 💪Thanks for the video, love the new intel❤
I lost 40kgs with 16:8 fasting within 1.5 years. Now I have my breakfast of chicken/lamb grilled with herbs at 7am & 3 egg protein shake, 1tsp cod oil & an orange or some berries by 7pm everyday. Never felt better! Cured thyroid, pcos, eczema, balding, depression & quit smoking. I've been following you on insta since you got your cat and had just started your youtube channel. Hi Kaiti! I’m cycling and fasting 14 hrs a day . I also do some low impact aerobics 30 mins a day. I have fasted for 24hrs maybe a couple times. 48hrs wow that would be tough!!
Hello Kait, your videos are great! I noticed as my insulin resistance started correcting due to regular intermittent fasting, it became extremely easy to do fasting for extended periods... I use your "poor mans method" to monitor my IR levels with my blood work. Thanks for the tip! Hello from Tennessee...
We put a IF sauna in the house couple years back. Good to know this signals autophagy as well. Thank you. And yes. They aren’t cheap for a good one. Think we spent over 4k on it 😬
I do IF usually 16/8 ,I know- sleep is so important but didn't know that about deep sleep! I also would love to try the sauna blanket!! Exercise is something I need to do more often 😊

I knew there was a good reason for watching your videos! I learned something new...again. You always seem to have some little tidbit of information that is new to me in most of your videos. Those are good, but same thing, make sure they are high quality and refrigerated. If they are on a shelf in a store and not our of a fridge then avoid them.
Interesting question! Sleeping in it would ruin your sleep (if you are even able to fall asleep in it to begin with). It increases stress acutely, increases your HR, decreases your HRV. The opposite of where these variables should be during sleep for proper recovery. The benefits come from sauna being a short term stressor, so short sessions (20-30 mins) are optimal.
Every year we fast for 30 days, especially if Ramadan is coming in summer, its a 16 to 18 hours of fasting, but now looking forward to fast in Ramadan in the month of March to April, shorter fasts alhumdulillah ❤️❤️❤️
I haven't heard of gels before?! The type of fat in fish oil should be liquid and not form a gel, even when refrigerated, so I am suspicious of what they would be adding to it...

Red light therapy is entirely different than heat therapy. The benefits of RLT come from specific waves of light and not heat.
