But if he's shirtless I can't focus on what he says ahah
And Andrew love's that 😂💓
turnleftthengargle same 😍😍😍
i Love Andrew-Shirtless or Not !
Thank you Andrew!
Yay Evan Todd!!! Loved 4th Man Out!
There is something extremely gratifying about being into duck hunting, college football and makeup tutorials...
Great life advice regardless of sexual preference. Tips to being a good person
2:41 hes so real for that
Something else that is important is recognizing your own privilege! The next step towards equality is equality within the LGBTQ community. It hurts me to see nonwhite members of the community being discriminated against by those who should understand most. Thank you for all you do!
What the hell does the Q stand for? I'm confused.
Couldn't agree more! Went to a gay club lately in Melbourne Australia , felt like i am an alien.
Stop using made up shit that no one else believes in . There is no such a thing as " privilege" of any kind. If u work hard. You can achieve everything you desire. If u dont work hard and want to blame everyone else for your failures then by all means use the fake privilege arguments
Peter the Great There very much is privilege in our own community. As a white gay man i am much better off than a black trans women. And by acknowledging that and opening up a discussion about it we can help end stigmas to push equality further.
Oh god, I know the gay community (and by extension Andrew) is mostly liberal, but this sjw bs is ridiculous.Discrimination is largely POC gays complaining that white gay men don't want to date them. They are not entitled to a date or sex. Leave that intersectional feminism crap for lesbians who will be more receptive to it. Feminism has done more than enough damage to wider society as well as gay men.
In Indonesia there are police rounding up our gay friends and imprisonments for being gay
Thank you for this video. One other thing I would add is Make a Coming Out video. I started my march for human rights long ago. The gay population (younger than us) thinks Coming Out Videos are sooo yesterday. They were a huge part of human rights (marriage equality) coming when it did. To stop now - means younger generations will have no record of their part in worldwide Human Rights. And, could endanger further rights for everyone.
Thanks. That's really important. Maybe Andrew will address that in future videos.
You're really making me gay Andrew. Like omg you're so gorgeous
I cackled at the picture of Dylan when you said “openly gay and out for 30 years” 😂😂
Way too blessed blessed blessed blessed blessed blessed blessed bitch im the best best best best best best best
I am a straight woman and this was in my recommended. Now I'm here. I watched the whole video.
No.#8.....This is so RARE. Younger gay men tend to rag on older
gay men. They forget...someday, they will be older too. There
was a time, when we were younger, like you.
that's weird. ageism is rampant in mostly coastal states. but i live in OKC and alot of the younger gay dudes are all about the older gays. so, i tend to date all age spectrums (legal that is... cuz im too pretty for prison)
@Josh Adams - We won't talk about what that makes you...
Josh Adams that’s so judgmental. I for one love dating older men because most of them are smarter & more caring.
Some young guys are into older guys and not even just cause of $ lol
Not really I'm 21 and I prefer someone who's 35 and older lol
14. Be loyal.
15. Don't judge/criticize other gays.
16. Break stereotypes.
17. Have a positive impact within your community.
THE BEST WISHES IN A VERY BUSY AND HECTIC DAY TO ME SO PLEASE CAN WE WILL WORK WITH YOU IN ADVANCE OF OUR

Guys on prep or who say they are on prep are barebacking like there's no tomorrow.
@@andrewgoesplaces I never said it will Andrew. Please reread what I wrote. However, prep users and pornstars who are spokepersons for prep do engage in that behaviour. Myvidster, twitter and previously tumblr, onlyfans, justforfans are littered with guys who say they are on prep barebacking. I know it doesn't which is why I made my comment. A lot of guy do engage in unprotected sex with Prep being a reason for them to let loose, with he fear of hiv being diminished because of it.
@Erik Perez exactly, it's pretty sad which is why a spike in sti's has increased.
@Tony I blame a lot of activist pushing it as an answer to hiv.
@Tony Prep resistant HIV? I haven't heard, or read of this. Can you state the source I'd like to know. If true, that's pretty significant, but only if true. Where did you read this?
@@devinngeorge Blame? I guess I missed that march, or I didn't see the ad that encourages people to get on Prep and get off condoms. Currently we live at a time when there is no cure, or vaccination preventing hiv. One day soon, hopefully that will change but until that day why would you not encourage the use of all available tools to prevent infection? The blame/shame game is pointless and only serves to obscure the finish line -the day when there is both a cure and a vaccination.
WHO ELSE LOVES ANDREW
BTW I'm a small UA-camr!
Most of this advice isn’t for gay guys... it’s for all people. Even testing for HIV should be something you should do if you’re straight. But most of it is good advice.
Of course, but it is stereotypically more associated with gay people than straight people
You left out the most important consideration for being a good gay: register and VOTE!
I vote Republican, but thanks for the advice.

Yesssss, do everything with your shirt off. Especially if they look like you.
Can I just say you made some very valid points. You covered race, transgender, ageism and even body shaming. I’m glad you chose to address this instead of hiding your head in the sand as some people do. Some pretend that because it doesn’t affect them personally, it doesn’t exist. This is why I follow you...and you’re mancandy 😁😘🤗
On behalf of at least one old queen, thank you for acknowledging we exist. :)
Respecting your elders? What a manly thing to do.
Hey! Love your videos and hope you're doing well ♥️
“Do everything with your shirt off” 😂 Great tips, Andrew! I loved and appreciated everything said.
Thank you for sharing Andrew. I sincerely appreciate you including us in your life and viewpoints. :-)
I love the guy but its clear he loves himself even more than we love him ..I worry about him for this and his telling everyone too much about himself ...Some people out there are wackos
I almost forgot how attractive this man is
Great advice all around. Thanks for you comments about older gay men who were leaders in the gay rights movement. I'm 72 and came out in high school. That was unusual at the time. I grew up in NJ and was not at Stonewall in '69 but I was in the very first gay liberation day parade in NYC in 1970 and more since then (now called Pride). I was involved in the gay rights movement for many years. Now you can get married and I worked on that as well. So thanks again for remembering us older folks who got fed up with the mean folks that tried to make us feel bad about ourselves. God made us and we are just a good as any straight person. There is still a lot of work to be done and hate is popping up again thanks in part to Mr. Trump. Yes, I did and still go shirtless, wear tank tops, wear jockstraps and tight jeans (which you didn't mention but really show off a male body). Love your youtube videos. Keep up the good work.
Love your video & you Andrew, im straight and my Best Friend is Gay and our Friendship goes way back to October of 1986 we're like brothers & I'm 65
Such a cutie-pie ... Good advise, I say Baby Be you. A reminder to be a Good, kind, caring and loving just as you'd like to be treated set the example and lead by example.
Studying for the OAT, determined to make this test my bitch. What did you find most helpful? Totally understand if you don't see this comment.
I CAAAAAAANT WITH those Dylan’s poping up in the video!! Lol!! You are the beeeest!
Does PrEP show up in the EHR at every MD you see like regular Rx? Since Truvada is an HIV medication, not just for PrEP, is it covered by the extra privacy rules?
Most of my doctors see all of my Rx (which can cause problems, especially when it's a one time Rx) via allscripts
I've heard of some people getting treated poorly, especially in the ER, for taking PrEP. There are a lot of assumptions that people make.
“we have rights”........ donald trump🇺🇸🐘🍊 is typing...
Hi Andrew.
I really appreciate
it your point of view
about how the new
generations of gays
most be thanks full
for the huge sacrifices
we made it, our
" heritage " to the
new generations.
I considered
myself one of the
" old generations ".
I'm NEVER imagined
that we was going
to make it this far.
Back in the 70s, 80s
and '90s,.....jajajajaja,
OK I tell you my age...
..I'm only 51 years
young, by the way the
age is just a number.
It was really hard
from those decades
to any one to
" came out ".
We was massacred
by family, neighbors, schools, church even
from some people
who call themselves
" friends ".
We only knows our
real friends and family
when we need some
help and courage to
face and manage
our challenge, like
our sexuality, and also
when they need help
too. Guys between
you and me, no one
gives better advice
than us.
I born in one of
the most hostile
environment you
can imagine.
Poor, Black, Bullied,
like almost every
gay at that time,
not only in Puerto
Rico but as well
around the world,
those was really
hard times.
I fight my " battle "
all by myself !!!.
My Mom was my
biggest concern,
and I know that
she knows about
my sexual
preferences.
I was a rebel, but
with cause, " fight
against hate,
intolerance, bulling "
...and much, much
more.
But I ended with all
rumors about me
at the age of 13.
My Mom was born
and raised in a " old
fashion styles " but,
SURPRISE !!. When
I open my heart to
my her and with
some help from
heaven, everything
was soo great !!
I didn't have even an
idea that her reaction
it was gonna be so
positive and charming.
I won't NEVER
forget that moment !!!
She said to me " David, you are my son, no
matter what or who, nobody is going to
change that, I will
always support
you and love you " .
Can you guys imagine
that ? 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Well I resumed that moment because
we also talk about
many others things
for a wild, you know
" girls things " jajaja.
I get her blessings,
also the strength
and support that
any gay at the age
of 13 needs.
To me was like start
a new life, MY REAL
LIFE !!
I became the real
me, the real David.
NO one was more important to me
than my Mom.
Getting the best
way to start my
real life, that was awesome.
Many gays that I knew back then, don't get
the support that my
Mom gives me.
I was so RELIEVED.
37 years has passed
since I " came out "
to the person who
really understand
me, respect me and
never judge me.
My wonderful Mom....
Thanks Mom, I
missing you A
LOT, you know it.
If any of you had
problems
or are not " ready "
to come out...,
repeat this to yourself ,
I want to be happy,
I need to be happy,
I deserve to be happy,
I gonna be happy !!! ".
You have the right to
be as happy you want.
That's your prerogative and one else have the
right to decide for you.
Is not justifiable when people think that they
can do to you as their please.
Don't allow others
decided for you....
is your desition not
they desition, you
are owner of your
feelings of yours
desired, of your
dreams.
Only you !!!
At the end of all
that commotion is
YOU WHO REALLY COUNTS. BE HAPPY, without hurting others.
Let's give a example
to those who thought
that you will never
gonna make the
" change ".
To those whom will
never understand that
there's NO difference
between them and us.
Remember you DESERVE TO BE HAPPY.....
Take the desition
when you thinks is
the right moment,
and be prepared for
anything , don't give attention to the Haters
or the homophobic
people, is your desition,
make it COUNTS.
You got my support,
hey...probably is your
time.
I wishing to you guys
the best in the world.
Thank you for the time
and my apologies for
the bad english.
🇺🇸 🇵🇷 🏳️🌈
Have a great Monday.
I gotta hand it to you, Andrew. Gay guys will actually listen to your advice on healthy self-care and civic engagement. Why? Your UA-cam videos give you tons of gay street cred. Rock on.
My boyfriend says I'm a bad gay because I vote Republican and I don't understand the fascination that gay men have with Cher and other "iconic" women.
I have to disagree with you. Being in the closet causes depression which causes many health issues. I worked for P flag for almost 2 years and it is the biggest cause of teenage suicide. I had to quit because it started making me depressed listening to teenage boys that wanted to die simply because they were gay. Don’t bring up the fact that you’re gay out of context. If someone ask you you’re a gay then tell them the truth. If someone ask you if you have a girlfriend that’s a good time to mention your gay. I’m 64 and I do agree you should show respect to your elders. We took a lot of beatings abuse and persecution when I was a teenager. So yes, you should thank them for that.
Always a pleasure to see and hear your words of wisdom I hope your doing ok
Why did I even think I was ganna be the first to comment
I love this video. AGAIN another amazing video. It's great that you hit on so many points about how to be a good gay. But politics are extremely toxic. I've had quite a few gay friends who stopped talking to me because of my political views. I make it a point not to engage in politics with other gay people. I also think that a large portion of the gay community is judgmental, at least where I am. I have more straight friends then gay friends because they accept me for me being me.
You're a lucky man. I was told early on that politics and religion can be toxic topics. ( I LOVE alliteration!)
George Raab , I'm straight and my Best Friend is Gay and our Friendship goes way back to October of 1986 & we're like brothers and I'm 65
Why I don't trust anyone saying I'm bi
Cause I just did an LGBT project (there were many options, but my partner had more power than me :p) and I saw all records of deaths just cause someone was gay 😱
I'm now tramatized
A great video Andrew but it should be going out to everyone, not just gays. by the way, you sound like a doctor....haha
Most of this advice is how to be a good human being in general regardless of sexuality. Lawl.
A good way to be a good gay guy is to just be a good person. It doesnt matter if your gay or not.
Gays need to be more accepting of gay handicapped people too like myself. Great video andrew
Being a 60 yr old
I appreciate your thank you
And sharing
I’m been old “go home you old man” from young guys
im a bit younger than you and got that at 40. apparently 40 was too old to be in some gay bars
Young gay men have a pathological hatred of older gays. Older guys put the young in touch with dreaded fears of being old, unattractive and unwanted.
It drives them crazy. Read the works of the world famous psychoanalyst Otto Kernberg
You are amazing Andrew. As an older person who is also bigger, the younger gay community is terrible. When you try to say hi
You get nasty comments. It’s very hurtful. So thank you for speaking up.
Great video your awesome be good to each other, respect others don't judge anyone have a great gay day love ya great videos and hope to see more videos soon love ya 😊👍❤
I am so grateful that I live in a time like this when we can joke around with vids like this yet be serious and start conversation. It just goes to show how far humanity has come and how far this community has come :) Love you chat
Being gay and not loving Britney, Ariana or Gaga IS A CRIME!
As one of the older Gays, I am happy to see our work to gain the freedoms we have has resulted in well-rounded people like you. I've marched on Washington, chaired the first Gay group on our University campus (in 1981!!), volunteered at our community center, etc. This was all while my friends were dying from AIDS.
If you represent the result of our efforts, I'm satisfied.
You seem really cheery in this video, and that made it more fun to watch. Nice tips as well
#6 KILLED ME I DIED WHEN I SEEN HER PICTURE. But sorry. I like Taylor more. But I do like Ari’s music.
OMG I can tell you are my biggest influencer!
I'm Doctor to be(Studying medicine).. Im gay guy... I literally look like you!
And in this video in particular sounds like me I'm talking fast too 😂
The main deference is I didn't came out yet
I'm from a homophobic country.. Ahghghgh that kills me
You are literally help me thank you
I hope you see my comment
Cute 🌼💕
Ps.. I like Ariana Grande too
the positivity energy in this video is so strong
Guys look MUCH better naked as mother nature intended man to be!
Thank you Andrew for paving the way. You’re an inspiration for all of humanity!!!
That was a lot to digest but I didn't hear a word I didn't agree with. Good for you. And shirtless looks good on you.
i like the 8 part 😂😍
How to be a good gay... fuck the rules and just be you
Ha. "Don't work out so you can look a certain way" *removes shirt to reve perfectly waxed, muscular chest* 😈
I thought this was going to be some really bad millenial advice that wasn't sound. VERY surprised! Well done!
#6 is def a deal breaker for me! if you dont like Ariana Grande we can’t be friends 😂 but fr
I wanna be your boyfriend 😍
Your voice is killer. I always end up listening ur first line whats going everybody 10 -15 times
Hi Andrew, I have been listening to your videos from the start. You have a great voice for speaking. I think you would make a great teacher,. You are a good guy gay or straight. Thanks
Thanks Andrew. I’ve been following your videos for some time but this one is exceptional. I hope lots of your other viewers take these excellent suggestions to heart...The contemporary gay community (and yeah, I’m 70 and was one of many in the trenches during the dark 60s and 70s and am sad to see many toxic trends in the community nowadays, almost as though it has unwittingly adopted the very judgmental and shaming attitudes we fought to free ourselves from the then straight community) needs to think about what it’s doing to itself. There’s nothing more we can do, but gay men of your generation can make a difference...
I appreciate that you help with these things. You are mine and alot of people’s inspirations. U mean alot to alot of people. Keep it uppn. Love your #1 fan. Youve helped me with my thing with the lgbtq cause i love this one guy and hes awesome.
How to be a good gay?
1. Be yourself.
2. Be human. Being gay doesnt have any difference being a person. Either it's gay, trans, lesbian, white, black, with disabilities, asian, african, and so on and so fort, we all wanted to be respected and treated fairly. So, to me, TO BE A GOOD GAY, is TO BE A GOOD PERSON, and i thank you!
Love you. I am not out but I hope to be some day.
Very faithfully represented! 👍👍👍😊😊😊
I’m a high school student and still closeted to most of the world. I’ve had social anxiety, OCD, Depression and ADHD since I was a kid and so I’ve been seeing a therapist for years, but that’s not the point. My therapist and my mom are the only two people in the world who know I’m gay. I’m currently 16 but I realized this when I was 10. However, I was going to a private catholic elementary/middle school so with all the homophobia around me I figured it was best to stay quiet. Eventually high school came around and I told my parents I wanted to go to the public school, they were surprised since I’d been in private schools my whole life but I did have outside friends and I hated people thinking I was a rich snob for going to a school that I didn’t really like anyways. So last year I enrolled in my small town’s public school and it was a shit show but it was definitely worth it. About two weeks ago I came out to my mom and I agree that there is nothing like it in the world. But I do have one question: I sat on not wanting to come out for 6 years before even attempting, and when I did I was glad but I still have a whole family and tons of friends who are unaware of my reality. My question is since I have an anxiety disorder, the time is never going to right or perfect and I’m never going to be able to say it without having an anxiety attack. That’s just my reality and I can’t change it, but how do I know when it is time to come out and avoid putting it off forever?
Shit that was long, sorry lol
Being a good gay: be good to yourself, and to other people in your life.
I did come out as bisexual back in 2015 but a part of me is saying that I may actually be gay, I mean I like guys alot but I'm sure once I fully come to realise what my sexuality is, I will come out for a 2nd time, just gotta take every day as it is, awesome video by the way, thanks for taking of that shirt 😁😁
Prince Yami Uchiha Cosplay Ha! I’m in the vice versa situation. I came out as gay but then I crushed on a girl. Lol!
Funny, yet mature and with a great message especially issues of responsibility, diversity, exercise for you! Great video, and thank you!
Salutations my fellow gay peers😜😀😁👋✌🤙❤❤❤❤💙💚💛💜
*Good Day Folks*
*Good Day* 😎
Hi Andrew am Andrew . Can we talk ?
Cleanliness is next to managerliness
this was the best, I finally can live my life correctly now haha, but without joking, there were some pretty true things in there happy that you shared this, hope you have an amazing weekend
OMG, you have made many outstanding videos, but this one goes to the top of my list. Well done ! Thoughtful, insightful and challenging.
Thanks SO much for doing this topic and doing it really well. Terrific, smart, comprehensive list that gives folks tools fir self-improvement. This effort couldn't have been done better than how you did it!
#14 - Never Stop Looking! Thanks Andrew.
Hey Andrew! What are some news sources you’d recommend to stay informed on gay issues specifically?
No. 14: Love Lady Gaga (seriously she's the best)
Shon Ingel yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss queen ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘
I've been critical of some of your videos however I fully support you on this video. You touched on some very important points, stop body shaming, respect people of many walks of life and age, volunteering and finally take your shirt off . Wishing you all the best....
Like the message behind #6.
Just be the best person you can be and represent with dignity.
Just as those who are "in-your-face" about religion are going overboard, if we are to be accepted, it is essential that we not express ourselves in an extreme manner. Yes, live your life to the fullest and assert your right to do everything that other couples do in public, but don't go overboard. If you see people preaching religion on the street corner, don't go up in front of them and give your partner a big kiss. Just live your life, don't cause strife. That kind of behavior does not reflect well on you nor the gay cause. Don't accuse people of discrimination based on sexuality just because you didn't get chosen for something. There may be other reasons. Don't get triggered by words. If someone is ignorant enough to use a slur toward you, just ignore them or express hope that someday they will learn to accept others as they are.
where can i get me an andrew?
Loved this video Andrew good points made.I appreciate your reaching out to older gay men yes we have done and seen a lot over the years and it is nice to be Thanked once in awhile. You always look amazing anything you wear would look good on you.Keep happy and focused.
Andrew, what's up with Arber? Just asking. Hope she's OK!
Hahaha... "Do everything with your shirt off?" If I had your look and body, I would everything with shirt off. Love watching with your off BTW. :)
The best video from you! Awesome job!!
The title can also be changed to "How to be a good person". Really tho, some of the messages are super important for people to not pay attention to. Keep inspiring Andrew 😁 and definitely keep up the charming smile
every day I become more fan yours. You are an incredible person (in spite of not knowing you in person). I think I'll add to the list, be a good person, have goals and dreams and be happy. I send you a hug from my country Colombia
So important to point out the power of your vote!
Hi Andrew, only been subscribed recently, so this is my first post.
Most impressed by your work & the list in this video especially :)

And, as a previous gen gay man I especially like you gesture of appreciation for those gone before 😊
Of course
I would be reference Ms Madonna C as necessary woamn of influence :)
Warm regards, stay safe & distanced , Simon, Blackheath, Blue Mountains, Australia
Andrew is so cute.
Good video, love how positive you always are in your videos. Take care, Bill
