Yes I have recomered some CDS. :) Not recently, though. I managed to miss this video when it came out.

It sounds like our recording sessions are in many ways easier than yours as we record parts separately with a click track and can drop in individuals bars if we messed up. Nobody has to sacrifice their best version because someone else messed up. Often we will record all the guide tracks live, altogether, and not have to worry too much about spill as they'll be replaced one by one with the real one.

Yes, that does sound easier. Do you find it tricky not to have the other parts happening at the same time when you’re recording though? For inspiration and also hearing what the whole thing sounds like together?
