Hi Friends, thanks so much for watching! Did you set any new years resolutions? I know my close friends are either hell yes or absolutely not :) I personally love setting goals for myself and sometimes also letting myself slip from time to time ;) Hope you're all doing wonderfully well and say hi if you feel like it!

I like all the strategies to remain productive and stick to your resolutions. I should probably try a few....
Hahah, I know right!! I've already been doing some shopping, using world of books (do you have that over there?)
Haha, yah some days the strategies really help and some days I set out with the plan and get completely side tracked....

I think the self employed work-from-home 'I'm so behind' panic is very common. I have it all the time. I think we just habitually set unrealistic goals and don't factor in the unpredictable interruptions and all that.

Groeten uit New York. Jouw Engels is verl beter dan mijn geleerde Nederlands van 70 jaren geleden. Jouw web site is heel interessant, en plezierig voor mij om het te lesen. Als jij weet, studeeredevik Geneeskunde te Utrecht 1954-1957, waar ik werd M.D. cum laude.
De lsatste jaren, heb ik geen oevening met Nederlands, masr ja jouw Engels is uitstekrnd.

I find it really hard to take a break from practicing (flute) incase a last minute booking comes in and also I feel like It'll be the beginning of the end of it and I'll never remotivate myself to re-start. I'm gonna try and have today off, though.
Yes I completely get the feeling. My mom plays the clarinet and hadn’t taken more than one or two days off in years until recently. I think she was pleasantly surprised when she came back though to find her embouchure was basically fine and she felt much more inspired than before.
Yeah - mine was surprising better than in months today, after not playing so much this week. I think it was fatigued and needed to recharge a bit. @@AMARINS
